Just wanted to mention that, regarding the story where NePoLaBo went to Disney Land, they didn't actually shout "Polka!". When they explain stories that happen irl, they do so in character, and use screen names. But of course irl they use their real names. Hololive is well known enough that shouting their screen names would be a terrible idea lol. :p They try very hard to protect the identity of the VTubers. Best example would be something a couple of them talked about ~1.5 years ago now, being that when any of the VTubers are hanging out with Pekora in public they go out of their way to try not to make Pekora laugh, because of how unique her laugh is.

There was someone in the chat earlier in that stream saying that they had 5 cans of Monster. Lamy in this clip says, "There was someone who drank 5 cans of Monster today," but it was incorrectly translated to, "I drank 5 cans of Monster today." If you look into the comments section of that clip, you can see people pointing out it's wrong.
Lamy is another "core" talent for her gen. Much like Reine for ID Gen2, Kiara for EN, (previously) Coco for Gen 4, and Marine for Gen 3. That one person in the gen that's the leader or person that everyone else is able to get along with and is able to bring everyone together.
Yeah, the term for that is the center since in idol groups the leader types will generally be put right in the center when it comes to things like pictures and concerts.
The one you watch the clip with lamy's debut was the origin of armpit water, its just that the clip didnt include what nene said when lamy showed her armpit "That indentation in her armpit is just irresistable, i can put water in it and it wont spill, ohhh i can sell it afterward" (this is not what she actually said word for word, but its along the lines)
So a little bit of insight for those who don't know. When Lamy is talking about drinking her bottle of wine and not getting a hangover, she talks about "Ukon" which the clipper translates as turmeric. Ukon is also the name of a drink (dietary supplement) made from turmeric. Drinking it before drinking alcohol is supposed to help prevent hangovers, but it also makes it so you have to drink more to get drunk.
The boys on Trash Taste also mentioned it. They describe it as preventing the normal buzz but once you drink enough to get properly drunk it still hits you and all at once. So like if it normally takes you 10 beers to get properly plastered, you'll be fine at 9 but still drunk like normal at 10.
Not only Lamy herself, her comment section is also very wholesome and cute. Lamy isn't an alcoholic, she's a lover of sake. She even designed and released her own sake for sale. And she's been warming up to the idea of releasing her own whiskey too!
"I think Gen 5 shines when Gen 5 is together" -NBAF couldnt agree more. their bond as Gen 5 is really great and rivals the Gen 3 bond and possibly even better. Gen 5 also pretty much established their own traits and quirks from the past few months. Polka & Flare combi is always a treat, Nene is always a problem child and ShishiLamy Teetee has been an icon from their early days.

Lamy is my favorite girl, the first one that I saw debut, and the first one to decide on being a favorite. So I'm glad you got to her. If you haven't yet I recommend you watch her first anniversary stream she got cat ears on her 3D model and played with some of her senpai
39:33 that's prolly because gen 1 2 and gamers are really close with each other... if u see their collabs they rarely call each other sempai... and they formed the sub-groups fan talked before.. the SMOK and FAMS etc...also gen 1 with gen 0 are really close like you can see a lot of the girls treat sora with a lot of "respect" being their sempai and what not but for instance haachama is really chill around sora mel is also really chill around sora...i mean not to say that the whole holomem arent close with each other i mean for crying out loud you can tell how much coco meant to all the girls...
the group part of the gen is probably because first gens just came out when they where formed the other gens had more time to come out and they prepare offline before like a group and also had that ban on collab with other if not in the same gen that helped to them to create a more unite group

About gen-mates being close: 1st gen were just given phones and told to start streaming as individuals. There wasn't really a precedent for anything. I almost feel bad about 1st gen, sometimes. There's such a disparity between their numbers, and I don't see them really collab often.
Fubuki and Mio is probably the first "Proper" genmates, since they've known eachother pre-hololive. But when it comes to Genmate debut in large, Third Gen was the first one.
Yeah, most of 1st Gen has more or less been adopted by the other generations. Fubuki’s part of GAMERS, Mel got adopted by Gen 2 and often collabs with Choco, Haachama’s EN Gen 0, and I don’t see enough of Matsuri and Aki to finish this

Nene had the job of buying their Disney tickets. There's actually a sea park and a land park, and they could only go to one of them. Only one of them sells alcohol, so Nene bought tickets to that one for Lamy's sake. Lamy thanked her then bought two glasses of beer. Nene thought Lamy bought her one, but they were both for Lamy.
3 hololive girls got to promote with a sake brewery lamy,noel, peko. they chose their own flavors and even got cardboard stands made. lamy cardboard stand shows her with 2 bottles. there was a special story about that cardboard stand. also for lamy and alcohol, she had a segment showing her daily routine. that would have been great for this

The one you watch the clip with lamy's debut was the origin of armpit water, its just that the clip didnt include what nene said when lamy showed her armpit "That indentation in her armpit is just irresistable, i can put water in it and it wont spill, ohhh i can sell it afterward" (this is not what she actually said word for word, but its along the lines)
So a little bit of insight for those who don't know. When Lamy is talking about drinking her bottle of wine and not getting a hangover, she talks about "Ukon" which the clipper translates as turmeric. Ukon is also the name of a drink (dietary supplement) made from turmeric. Drinking it before drinking alcohol is supposed to help prevent hangovers, but it also makes it so you have to drink more to get drunk.
The boys on Trash Taste also mentioned it.
They describe it as preventing the normal buzz but once you drink enough to get properly drunk it still hits you and all at once.
So like if it normally takes you 10 beers to get properly plastered, you'll be fine at 9 but still drunk like normal at 10.

couldnt agree more. their bond as Gen 5 is really great and rivals the Gen 3 bond and possibly even better. Gen 5 also pretty much established their own traits and quirks from the past few months. Polka & Flare combi is always a treat, Nene is always a problem child and ShishiLamy Teetee has been an icon from their early days.

Two things. First off, Lamy is definitely one of my favorites due to how calming and motherly she can be. Second off, J-Horror games tend to be fairly unique in comparison to other horror games. A lot of VTubers (both in and out of Hololive) have been playing Night Delivery.

39:33 that's prolly because gen 1 2 and gamers are really close with each other... if u see their collabs they rarely call each other sempai... and they formed the sub-groups fan talked before.. the SMOK and FAMS etc...also gen 1 with gen 0 are really close like you can see a lot of the girls treat sora with a lot of "respect" being their sempai and what not but for instance haachama is really chill around sora mel is also really chill around sora...i mean not to say that the whole holomem arent close with each other i mean for crying out loud you can tell how much coco meant to all the girls...
the group part of the gen is probably because first gens just came out when they where formed the other gens had more time to come out and they prepare offline before like a group and also had that ban on collab with other if not in the same gen that helped to them to create a more unite group

About gen-mates being close: 1st gen were just given phones and told to start streaming as individuals. There wasn't really a precedent for anything.
I almost feel bad about 1st gen, sometimes. There's such a disparity between their numbers, and I don't see them really collab often.
Fubuki and Mio is probably the first "Proper" genmates, since they've known eachother pre-hololive. But when it comes to Genmate debut in large, Third Gen was the first one.
Yeah, most of 1st Gen has more or less been adopted by the other generations. Fubuki’s part of GAMERS, Mel got adopted by Gen 2 and often collabs with Choco, Haachama’s EN Gen 0, and I don’t see enough of Matsuri and Aki to finish this
