But Piccolo literally fired off a his charged Special Beam Cannon and it pierced both of them and essentially won them that fight. Another good example was when Piccolo was facing off against Frost during the U6 Tournament (anime version). Frost was probably on par with Freeza's new base in Resurrection F, and Goku essentially told Piccolo he couldn't win against Frost. But once Piccolo trapped Frost, he was confident that his Special Beam Cannon could do him in. Even Frost knew he was doomed too 🤣

If i had to guess, i would say Orange Piccolo is about on par with a Full Powered Ssj Broly atm, if not a bit stronger. He has been training with Beast Gohan, who is now on par with Goku and Vegeta. So it definitely had to push him pass his previous limits of being just below Cell Max. Anyone else glad Piccolo has forms that can compete with the Saiyans now? His base is on par with Ssj1-3, his Ultimate Form is on par with ssj God-Blue, and now his Orange form is on that Ultra tier. Since Super, he's been back and forth with being in the background and being of help. He was.... kinda there in the Universe 6 tournament. He competed in the TOP. And was there to throw hands against OG73 and Moro.

Don't forget that when he died in the saiyan saga, he was around power level of 5,000, he came back in namek saga and fought Frieza while fused with Nail where they went toe to toe, and Nail was only powerlevel of 40k, while Frieza was 256k, so how much did Piccolo power up in King Kais Planet? This isn't right at all. Piccolo in the saiyan saga was max 3000. On namek after fusing with nail he was around 1 million. As 2nd form frieza was about that as he stated himself. Piccolo and that 2nd form frieza were about similar strength. Although I do believe nail was at exactly 40,000.

Although I would've preferred for Piccolo to achieve his Awakened and Orange forms on his own, it's still nice to see him get a well deserved power-up and one that makes sense. Beast Gohan on the other hand....yeah, let's not talk about that.
Orange Piccolo is probably much stronger than we realize. I think he was mostly holding back to draw out Gohans full potential. It'll be interesting to see what they do with his character going forward. Same for Gohan and his new form.
Piccolo does have some of the dopest moves tho. And some of the hardest sounding as well "Special beam cannon" and "Light grenade" sound pretty metal But *"Hellzone grenade"* like, c'mon my guy that is one of the hardest sounding attacks in the show 😅
Piccolo has been my favorite character for a while now, even in the tournament of power when he was physically out matched, he was smart enough to overcome. Now that oir boy has that power, he can be a truly legendary fighter. All that strength and regeneration, means he can utilize strength with less fear of being seriously wounded.

What we see isn't close to what we are told, so keep your expectations tempered. Gamma 1 and 2 aren't even shown to be that strong, yet we're supposed to believe they're SSB Goku level during the ToP? Yeah, I don't think so. If they were, Piccolo would have died before getting his potential unlocked by Shenron, and Gohan wouldn't have won round one against Gamma 1. Only time Gamma 2 showed any power similar to any God-tier character was when he sacrificed himself to damage Cell MAX. Orange Piccolo was able to easily stomp Gamma 2, so I'd say he's at least stronger than SSG Goku, maybe possibly at SSB Goku level after Moro arc, but he's not close to current SSB Goku nor challenging any UI or UE Vegeta. Also, Beast Gohan is literally pulling out all his cards and abilities in order to slightly surpass Goku's speed in UI, but it left him very winded while Goku looked only slightly damaged. Yeah, it's just a friendly spar, but Goku looked totally fine after using UI for a while(two forms of UI, actually). Gohan was already pushing himself, so I wouldn't agree Gohan is at Goku's level just yet. Yes, he got an insane asspull buff that bridged the gap and now he's as strong as gods, but I don't think Beast Gohan is as strong as UI and UE. Piccolo is clearly not as strong as Beast Gohan, so yeah, no way he's able to touch True UI Goku or UE Vegeta. I'm not even sure he can hang with SSB Goku if Goku went all out.
I'm positive he was given his Max power but the form we got was him not mastering it yet. I bet he will find a way to get smaller in form but somehow more balanced and just as powerful as B. Gohan or saiyin blue kaoken.
I think piccolos power wasn’t an ass pull as much as some people try to make it like he was at one point directly tied to the dragon balls so it would make sense that shenron is capable of boosting his power by that much even after drawing out extra dormant power
In the chapter 103 Goku asked Piccolo to spar with him but Piccolo refused because he had to pick up Pan from school.Maybe in chapter 104 Piccolo will get some love.
The power dynamic with Goku and Piccolo currently is, imo, similar to how it was in Og ball. Goku is slightly stronger but could go toe to toe in their matchup, with goku ultimately winning with decently high difficulty.
If i remember correctly, Ultimate gohan was able to go toe to toe with ssb goku and gamma was able to go toe to toe with ultimate gohan so it's safe to say gammas are on par with ssb and piccolo completely owned that gamma and one punched him so i believe piccolo is on the level of ssb kaioken times 20 or ui sign

One thing people often forget about in the superhero movie is exhaustion Piccolo when he fought cell max and lost was not at his strongest by a considerable amount Remember it was his 4th fight that day if you count Pan And he didn’t have a sense bean because he gave it to Gohan Remember Gohan couldn’t go Ultimate before his sensu bean While I don’t think he’s as strong as beast I certainly think orange piccolo is stronger than he appeared in his fight with cell max
They are supposed to be on par with SS blue, or at least ssg, but even if that is the case goku and vegeta are both training to surpass that right now. Piccolo may not have endless growth potential, but his ki control is always superior.
If you take into account the gammas were created to battle goku and vegeta and also the other zfighters, it could be assumed that the gamma were comparable to as strong as goku and vegeta were during the last time they were on earth fighting which would be Moro arc level of power
I have nothing against Piccolo and Gohan getting boosts in strength and speed, but this felt like such an asspull. Compared to Goku or Vegeta, they had almost no training. It would have been better if their power-ups had been developed gradually, so it felt more deserved.
It would have had more impact if Piccolo got half a story arc showing him achieving a new form in the face of adversity. Instead, he gets 2 in under 2hrs viewing time and 1 is a pity parting from a magic dragon. Feels cheap and the character deserves better
To be perfectly honest, no lie, Piccolo should honestly be one of the strongest characters, If not the strongest character, considering he comes from the Magic that created the Dragon Balls.
I've always liked Piccolo from the beginning being spawn from demon king Piccolo having a hate towards goku at first then them coming together in saiyan sega and so on. Then now sense the power up his become even awesome, I would say his power sense power up is definitely on par with SSB Piccolo himself said that gamma 1 & 2 was about par with SSB and Piccolo was keeping up in super hero but with cell max he was getting his butt headed to him but also have to remember he gave gohan the sensu bean that he was saving for himself
i feel that we can parralel orange piccolo to ssj4 goku they get the normal run of the day powerup (piccolo gets his potential unlocked and goku becomes an oozaru) before that powerup eventually becomes the new form (piccolo gets his orange form after being floor wiped and goku comes out of oozaru into ssj4) and then the enemie can barely even get an eye twitch when dealing damage "piccolo doesnt even get moved by an atom and goku lets super 17 punch him just to feel smthn) (edit) also that ennitial owerup before the form comes from a god aswell the kais pull out gokus tail and piccolo has dende upgrade shenron before then wishing for his potential being unlocked
So while some people don’t like that piccolo just wished for the upgrade… there’s reasons why I’m cool with it.. 1) goku literally did the same to fight beerus… 2) namekians made the dragon balls so it’s kinda crazy we haven’t gotten this sooner 3) the Z fighters have been so irrelevant in terms of powerlevel outside of the saiyans since basically the android saga… 4) now that piccolo is a relevant fighter again it would make sense for him to continue to train with the others now…. So if there’s a big bad he can b used vs the henchmen.. not just fotter henchmen either like legit fighters…
Piccolo was stated by toriyama to be mui tournament level. He got bodied by cell max and gohan tanked a whole blow and smiled. Also beat him in 2 blows. (Punch then special beam)
it happens every time in dragon ball. Piccolo or Gohan get a power boost and are the strongest for 10 minutes before they get eclipsed in power by Goku and Vegeta.
Piccolo will always be my favorite Z fighter. That said, giving him a power boost and tying it to get another color transition is mildly irritating especially that funky burnt orange

While I don’t think he’s as strong as beast I certainly think orange piccolo is stronger than he appeared in his fight with cell max

They are supposed to be on par with SS blue, or at least ssg, but even if that is the case goku and vegeta are both training to surpass that right now.
Piccolo may not have endless growth potential, but his ki control is always superior.

If you take into account the gammas were created to battle goku and vegeta and also the other zfighters, it could be assumed that the gamma were comparable to as strong as goku and vegeta were during the last time they were on earth fighting which would be Moro arc level of power

I have nothing against Piccolo and Gohan getting boosts in strength and speed, but this felt like such an asspull. Compared to Goku or Vegeta, they had almost no training. It would have been better if their power-ups had been developed gradually, so it felt more deserved.
It would have had more impact if Piccolo got half a story arc showing him achieving a new form in the face of adversity. Instead, he gets 2 in under 2hrs viewing time and 1 is a pity parting from a magic dragon. Feels cheap and the character deserves better
Characters are so strong now that to be useful in the series they have to ask power to the dragon balls
To be perfectly honest, no lie, Piccolo should honestly be one of the strongest characters, If not the strongest character, considering he comes from the Magic that created the Dragon Balls.

I've always liked Piccolo from the beginning being spawn from demon king Piccolo having a hate towards goku at first then them coming together in saiyan sega and so on. Then now sense the power up his become even awesome, I would say his power sense power up is definitely on par with SSB Piccolo himself said that gamma 1 & 2 was about par with SSB and Piccolo was keeping up in super hero but with cell max he was getting his butt headed to him but also have to remember he gave gohan the sensu bean that he was saving for himself
Not to mention he restrained cell max long enough for Gohan to go in for the kill
i feel that we can parralel orange piccolo to ssj4 goku
they get the normal run of the day powerup
(piccolo gets his potential unlocked and goku becomes an oozaru)
before that powerup eventually becomes the new form
(piccolo gets his orange form after being floor wiped and goku comes out of oozaru into ssj4)
and then the enemie can barely even get an eye twitch when dealing damage

the kais pull out gokus tail and piccolo has dende upgrade shenron before then wishing for his potential being unlocked

So while some people don’t like that piccolo just wished for the upgrade… there’s reasons why I’m cool with it..
1) goku literally did the same to fight beerus…
2) namekians made the dragon balls so it’s kinda crazy we haven’t gotten this sooner
3) the Z fighters have been so irrelevant in terms of powerlevel outside of the saiyans since basically the android saga…
4) now that piccolo is a relevant fighter again it would make sense for him to continue to train with the others now…. So if there’s a big bad he can b used vs the henchmen.. not just fotter henchmen either like legit fighters…

Piccolo was stated by toriyama to be mui tournament level. He got bodied by cell max and gohan tanked a whole blow and smiled. Also beat him in 2 blows. (Punch then special beam)
it happens every time in dragon ball. Piccolo or Gohan get a power boost and are the strongest for 10 minutes before they get eclipsed in power by Goku and Vegeta.

Piccolo will always be my favorite Z fighter. That said, giving him a power boost and tying it to get another color transition is mildly irritating especially that funky burnt orange
I think the translation is something closer to the third world of demons rather then third demon realm. As in the demon realm is the third plane of existence besides the living world, and other world.
