How was it getting back to the airport/check in for the flight? How far is the airport from tourist sites?
We didn’t have to check in again because our flight to Manila was a connecting flight-we had already checked in while in Canada. So, we only had to go through security, which took less than an hour. The city center is about 45 minutes (52 km) from the airport, so it’s not too far. Once you’re in the city center, all the main sights are fairly close together. ☺️

Hi. When did you get your boarding pass for your comnecting flight- before you went out of the airport or upon your return to the airport after your city tour?
We already had all our boarding passes issued in Calgary so we got them even before we went out of the airport :)

Hi, i just want to ask where did you leave your bags? Or did you checked it in?
Since we had a connecting flight to Manila, our checked bags were already taken care of. As long as you have a connecting flight, there’s no need to worry about collecting your luggage. ☺️ We left the airport with only our carry-on bags, which easily fit in the back of the tour guide’s car.

Thanks for posting the video. How long is this tour? How long did it take you to go back from your local restaurant? I will have a layover but it's short not sure if I have enough time.
@@VictoriaT-m6b Hello! The tour is 6 hours including the drive back and forth to the airport :) Our layover in Taipei was a total of 9 hours. If you have anything shorter than that, I would plan accordingly because you also have to factor in the time you’re going to need to leave the airport and pass through immigration + come back and do it all over again.
It took us about 15 minutes (one way) to get to the restaurant via train as we parked the car in Chiang Kai Shek.

Depends on your passport! But you don’t need one for phil/canadian passport :)
