Polaris destroys kickoo, so there isnt much of a way to counter it. Get battleships asap and target the gaamis. Polaris is hard countered by aquarion. So if you know your opponent picked polaris, pick aqua
You don't. Polaris dominates archi unless you go Aquarion and tridention spam which can be hard to do with Aquarion's bad econ. Just try and make sure they can't expand the ice because then their knights and ice fortresses roll in and you're done for.
My elo is around 1550 and i think Yaddak is mostly the best tribe for counter attack against Cymanti. The road abillity combines two things. It helpes to develop your city and also get a monument by 5 connected cities, but also makes your warrior in the beginning offensive. Also with roads and riders you can smash them from the map. Put your warriors in front, and riders back. Then attack their hexapods. Also the super unit weakness is the slow movement. It can also help to destroy the charman.
Catapult spam, as someone who often uses Cymanti they have awful crowd control, no Knights and mediocre ranged defense so they can't kill the Catapults even if they are clumped together and the catapults can easily take care of even Doomux before they get close enough to do any significant damage

I play 6+ multiplayers and cymanti is always a pain to deal with. Don't know how to win so please make a video on countering it and how to deal with them in a 10 player game. I try to go for knights but best I get to do is hold them but eventually with all the doomax and centipedes they win. Do you think Cymanti is balanced now or do you think maybe instead of totally removing initial poison damage they should have reduced it to 1, nerfed the centipede dmg, nerf the economy economy and just reduced cost of flyers to 2 stars?
Mobility is the big counter for AI Cymanti. Basically anything 1-hits a spider in a city and the AI trains them way too close to the front line. Mind-benders are also a hard counter to the centipedes. They can mind-bend any segment and get the whole super unit.
Here's a real challenge: get a veteran ice archer. It's not impossible but difficult because you need an ice archer and shaman on the same team. As cymanti use your shaman to mind bend a Polaris ice archer, then recover it to full health. Boost the ice archer for it to deal a massive 1 damage. If anyone can do it in a legit random multiplayer match( not setup with friends or in pass n play ) ill genuinely be impressed. I found one in a recent 16 player online game and had to look it up because I didn't even know it was possible. Also another challenge is a veteran shaman.
soooo lucky he ran into ur shaman, i lost so many times bcz cymanti growth is so expensive, and should u get stranded on a one-way path thats a continent and the only other land available is the enemie's directions then ur ded.
Just hate Cymanti and Elyrion. These two are ridiculously overbuffed. Among 1200 ELO players on maps larger than 121 tiles it's impossible to counter them if you're not playing Bardur. These infinite fuckin spiders and sentipedes are ridiculously fast and easily reproducible on drylands, while extremely cheap navalons easily smash everything in oceans, dragons attack big groups of units perfectly. BTW for the fist time see 1600+ ELO rating. Not sure if anyone in the game can reach more.

Swordsman is what I find works best as a counter, gives good damage and good defence

Just knight spam on ice with Polaris, they go half the map and just sweep waves of hexapods, making them useless.
Great to see you recognize the power of Cymanti. I've been using them heavily since they came out. I find them enjoyable to play

I don't think it is likely you'll be able to mind bend a segment in a live game but that is an interesting option.
