They really chose the top of the top of actors to voice these roles. Every time I hear any of their voices, their character automatically pops into my head. Between their voices and the insane talent of the animators, this movie will always be a masterpiece.
They are the definitive Beast and Bell and I still have the original VHS for this film. Robby Benson's voice is so smooth, elegant and hearing him as the best feels like a different person is voicing that character. It's almost like Jekyll and Hyde.
And that VHS version (to which I envy you dear friend) is THE BEST ORIGINAL which will never ever be topped or in any way replaced by any other-(original too). As for Benson and Paige, they are irreplaceable in every way or aspect. Advice: dont even bother watching any remake, live or animated, its pointless, as who knows how many of them are still to be shot (beside those awful emma watson & others included)
I got to say, I think robby benson had to think of something that really enraged him a lot in his past to say that line perfectly, GET OUT!!! Because that line was really terrifying, even watching it now as an adult. xd
The original with Paige and Robby is the best. There is that special Disney magic that they have not since replicate with these live action movies. Beauty and Beast is my number one and then The Little Mermaid.

I agree with Paige, the 2017 version was a little dark. For me the Beast could have been made a little more Beastier or scarier if you will. I prefer the cartoon version more.

Did you know I even wore the costume that resembles Prince Alexander of Daventry. I wore a green tunic with yellow stripes that had to be custom made since the costume didn't exist online, I wore the yellow scarf around my neck, I wore black pants and hiking boots, I also wore arm bracers just so I could look like Prince Alexander from Kings Quest 6. I still can't believe that Robby Benson didn't seem to care much about King's Quest 6 created by Roberta Williams from the former Sierra Online company, I still play King's Quest 6 to this day and I played Kings Quest 9 on PS3. I got his autograph on my King's Quest 6 Guide book since he was a funny voice character in King's Quest 6. I hope Robby Benson gets the chance to watch the youtube videos of King's Quest 6 gameplay since he voiced most of them.
