Dual throttle cables is an over engineered function. It was conceived on safety grounds but retained primarily to allow noobs to ride larger capacity bikes without being deterred by the nose dive everytime the throttle shuts by spring only. If you notice with dual cable it gently releases back to position instead of slamming shut and throwing your body awkwardly forward. Its an ergonomic benefit in larger CC bikes.

Yha bro you are right..... I was also facing the same issue in my fz25,,,,,, after doing some fault finding I found that the Teflon coating was damaged and the inner wire was rubbing against the outer wall of the cable, causing friction

Brother., Mera fz25 bike hai, bike ka engine bearing kharb hoa Gaya hai. Kahi pe Mila Nehi. Yamaha showroom me Gaya tha lekin uslogone bola 20days bad milega. Ab me Kay Karu? NSK company ka bearing hai 63/28. Plz koi solution hai to batao.

return cable in throttle harness asm is second level safety feature.
Return cable assembled in handle grip so that it always pulls back the throttle thus avoids continuous acceleration during worst accidental conditions.

@@santoshkambali3108 the return cable on itself doesnt have the pull back capacity. It is the spring on throttle body which pulls back nothing else. Remove the spring throttle wont pull back itself. After removing the cable the throttle still pulls back. I think the word we use is wrong. It should be stopper cable instead of return cable because its only purpose is to stop the throttle going beyond certain point.

This issue is maybe related to fuel injection system and its sensors or the fuel pump or line. Get it checked by service center they may test with computer.
