Your playing of this piece made me cry, it was as usual brilliantly played,I always feel the emotion you put in to your music. One of your best recitals was at St Pancras station on a very cold day on a slightly out of tune piano, but you did not care! You are not a diva you seemed to really enjoy getting the most out of that lonely piano. It had the greatest day of it's life when it was played as never before!

Many, many, many years ago - I won't tell you how many - my mother - a highly skilled pianist - used to perform this piece. You performed it just about as well as she did, and I assure you that is much more than faint praise. Thank you.

Tonic to the major 3rd chord always sounds goods Aflat to c major 7. Same as Rachmaninov's 2nd concerto 2nd subject, E flat major to g major
