This sounds very discouraging for someone studying for IT certs with the goal being a cloud engineer. Ai replacing 50% of the engineers sounds like added pressure. With respect im not trying to become "the best" at anything. I just want a good job I can work remotely at. Are their any IT career fields less impacted by ai?
Yes. The cloud architect career, Ai architect career, enterprise architect career are not impacted by AI as they require so much human to human interaction. In most cases AI generally creates more architecture roles as we design solutions to optimize performance. Sales roles are not impacted by AI. Leadership roles are not impacted by AI. That’s why we stopped training clients engineers and only train cloud architects, enterprise architects, security architects and AI architects.
