Jett didn't catch Sexton because he petered out. Said it himself "lack of bike fitness".
If Tomac wins can he win the SMX title or is 21 points down too much? I know it’s triple points, would he need help from the other riders or is he part of the winner take all conversation with Chase, Jett and Hunter? I want to see him win it personally but it seems like too much to expect the top 3 guys to not be up front. Unless AP or Webb is up there to throw a monkey wrench in the equation.
You hit the nail on the head. If Eli were to win the SMX title, he would need some help from spoilers to finish in between himself and the top three. Going to be an exciting weekend of racing!
It seems when no one is I front of him he can look down at the track and ride full speed, but when fast riders are ahead he has to look ahead to pass he can’t push the same pace while looking ahead of him.
