I purchased mine today. 123,000O miles. One owner. 👌 clean floors and seats. It has a lot of power. Owner was super neat. Full set of new tires. The ride is so smooth. God blessed me tremendously and I give all the praise to HIM 🙏🏽
I picked up a 2 owner 1993 ES 300 with 195k miles that was taken care of its entire life and i have to say its absolutely amazing how good the ride quality, interior, features and engine is after a whole 27 years. This speaks volumes for Lexus's quality and I couldn't be happier with my car
I work for Lexus. I used to manage the loaner fleet, but now I drive and manage a group of drivers who pick up guest vehicles for service and return them. I get to drive all models and years of vehicles. One guest who had an ‘06 RX400h (hybrid) had 270k miles on the vehicle. I arrived with a 2014 RX450h (this was a few years ago; loaner vehicles are seldom more than 1 model year old) and the guest had the opportunity to drive the newer vehicle while hers was being serviced. When the service on her vehicle was finished I returned her car to her. When I arrived, I asked what she thought of the newer version. “It’s really nice. I’d love to get one but THIS ONE (her 400h) JUST WON’T DIE!’ And so it goes. If you take decent care of these vehicles, you will, as I tell many of our guests, have the car for as long as YOU want it.
Have owned my 2007 RX350 since new. Have not had any issues apart from normal wear and tear items like brakes and tires. Did change the water pump , radiator, hoses at 170,000 miles not because it was leaking but because I wanted trouble free driving for another 10 years. Overall , a pleasure to own. Not planning on selling mine anytime soon
@@bravucod it had 194,000 miles and it's 15 years old. I research and fond out it can go over 500,000 with regular maintenance. I paid $6,00.00 for it. All services were up to date.
@@bravucod had a 2007 RX350 traded it for $3,600.00 has 161,000 miles on it, glad I got rid of it due to I’m spending more on maintenance than what’s it’s worth. First the axle was replaced and then the transmission won’t shift so it has to be replaced but after two years it went back to the same problem so got tired of it and traded it.
@@spencerbibb897 i'm with ya brother! i'm 58, and my lexus is still young at heart, lol! at 110k, she knows what she's doing, but still has a lot left in her.
Super impressed with this SUV.. when the 2nd gen debuted, it was way ahead of its time in terms of creature comfort and design... Lexus really hit the nail in the head with this SUV.. No wonder it remains one of the most desirable used SUV out there to this date... great daily driver overall.. highly reliable.. strong and composed engine.. fit and finish of the materials inside and out are excellent.. these cars go well over 200k with regular preventive maintenance such as oil change.. if you see one in a great price around $8k - $12k with just a ticked over 100k miles these days - GET IT!.. Great review man!
The RX 350 has a great engine sound. It is truly amazing that these cars are still running smoothly without any major issues. Lexus is doing something right compare to German cars... Good review as always and it is nice that you review a good variety of cars fitting various budgets. Way to go!
agreed. The engine sound on the 3.5 is very niice. Definitely understated (by others). Additionally, because it's 1,000lbs lighter than a Porsche Cayenne, a 2007-09 RX will completely smoke an early base Cayenne (with the 3.2 liter). And quite possibly take the 2008/2009 3.6 liter
Hey been doing reviews of older SUV with 4WD or AWD for my daughter and have test driven the 2007, 2008, and 2009 Lexus RX 350, after I did that, no other SUV in that age range and price could even come close! Acura RDX and MDX nice but too boxy, and definitely a level below the Lexus RX 350! I'm looking for reliability and this model is # 1 in so many reviews! So it's #1 in reliability but it also provides a nice quiet ride and it's luxurious. It's a joy to drive! Thanks for the excellent review. BTW the engine on these RX 350's is still used by Toyota on several of their top tier cars! I'll let you look that up. We have a Toyota Sienna, hint, and it uses the same engine! Our Toyota Sienna has 333,000 miles on it with the original transmission and engine!
I actually brought the 2009 RX 350 Pebble Beach edition its super reliable, it drives like a car. at first I was like why would I by a soccer moms car but after test driving one It was sold. I used to own a 2016 Cadillac Escalade and it was a complete money pit everything broke down way before the 100k miles. it went from having lifter problems to the transmission issues. excellent video by the way.
i just bought an '08 rx350 back in march. it only had 110k on the odometer, and all local dealer maintenance records! everything was recorded. it's also black, with brown interior (which i don't care for, but look at the total package), and aside from a few scratches, is in really good shape! i've been driving lincoln town cars since '05, and the first one (an '02) was awesome! best car i ever had! the second one (05 - w/48k on it), not so much. i bought that about 3 years ago having worn out my first one. i'm a salesguy that destroys cars! that the first one lasted so long was pretty impressive! one year a put 40k miles on a car! i could see the kwality direction ford was going, so i opted to shop for a used lexus. so far this thing has been great! as a salesguy, i've rented a metric ton of cars. i see all this radar, backup screen bullshit, and i'm like: this volvo is a great car that could go a long time, but when all this little stuff starts breaking, i'm screwed! what i like about the lexus is that all of it is simple. no electronic crap to break. all simple and reliable. you didn't mention that the mirrors helpfully aim down when you back up. that's new. it also has all wheel drive capability, and i live in the pacific northwest, so we sometimes get ice storms here. this certainly helps. i saw the one you drive is so equipped. i'm not going to go rock crawling with this, but that should be useful, although i've not had the opportunity to try it out. i also like to go to rural areas to do some plinking in dirt roads, and will have no problem taking it there for that purpose. i tend to let others pay the "new car tax" and then drive a slightly used car for 10+ years. i just wear them out. i also ride an ebike for local stuff. i'm 58, and this may well be my last car, since i don't drive as much as i used to.
Excellent breakdown sir thank you very very much for sharing your experiences and I agree with your points a nice 10 year old or so Lexus will be solid and won't have a lot of the crap the new cars have I do really like the mirrors that go down in reverse thats a nice little tech feature haha thanks again for watching
200,000 miles is nothing. Mine has 417,000 as of today. I drive it every day. Now I didn’t put these miles on it personally. In fact I just got it. It’s been serviced 90% of its life at Lexus. Car runs perfectly. Original engine. Transmission was replaced under warranty in 2009.
Great review. I have the 2009 RX350, and I love it. Have had it used for 2 1/2 yrs and very little issues since I purchased it used. Best riding car I have ever owned.
Love our 2009, it's been a fantastic car! Make sure you replace the original rubber oil cooler lines to the updated flex pipe design. The originals are known to blow out causing your engine to drain of all oil. Once replaced, you can surely get 250k+ out of these cars!
If you’re having trouble fitting another person in the middle seat, you can adjust the position of the centre console. Open the cup holder cover in the front seat, there is a latch you can push down on in there to adjust
thanks for that! there are all kinds of "easter eggs" in this car i'm learning about. the manual weighs about 2 pounds, and i just haven't gone through it yet. 🤣
Still loving my 2009 RX350 with 66k miles...absolutely wonderful SUV. I put in an aftermarket Apple Carplay/Android Auto head unit and BOOM, modern car.
Any oil issues? I just bought one and prioritizing changing the engine cool line on the bottom. It's a known issue and I want to get ahead of any obstacles
Idk about that, if maintenance history has been documented and taken care of then yeah I'd agree they have a ton of life left but any negligence in maintaining the car and def going to cause yourself some problems. I have only owned lexus since buying my first one because of how incredibly solid the engineering is in every one of their cars. Even the ES300 built to last. It's a car you only want to repair/maintain with OEM lexus parts, which are comparable to part prices of most cars respectably but reason being is because the parts last for such a long time and also preserves the integrity Lexus's are well known for. If you havent owned a Lexus in your driving career make it your next ride and I almost guarantee it will be the only brand car you continue to buy from then on. Just do your homework and be patient through out the searching/buying process. Find one you know has been maintained and driven like an adult.
@@dannyanderson3704 exactly. So many people neglect maintenance. Always pull a carfax. So many people sell their car with nothing more than oil changes, or sometimes nothing at all telling you "it runs great". I would rather lose $40 vs $1000
Very nicely described by this young man. I own a 2008 Rx350 and yes road noise is my beef mainly due to the interior being so quiet. Using Premium gas, as recommended, definitely brings out the power and smoothness in the motor.
I'm currently in the market for a good used vehicle, and everything I've heard about these older Lexus RX models has me sold. Still trying to get over the fear of buying something with 140k + miles, but these videos help put me at ease. Never owned an import before, hence my trepidation. Thanks for the content.
@@MeynMotorGroup what's the maximum warranty you think someone can get for this lexus rx350 from a dealership? ie how many years and what would it cover, meaning the best deal i could get?
Great video. Its good to see videos like these for people who owns these vehicles to see how good they can be, it shows people that they can still love to own their vehicles. Also for people that wants to buy these vehicles. 0 to 60, updated infotainment, features is good, but what amazes me, is the fact of high mileage cars getting respect for what they can do.
14:32: Center Console is adjustable if you want. There is a hidden button near the cup holder's backside, lift and adjust according to the need. so you can move that entire console all the way front and back. By the way nice reviews. 👍🏼
Wow, this is the only other RX I've seen, 2009 or older, other than my 2007 rx400h, that doesn't have a cassette player! Ha! Great video! I love my rx400h, and it's got over 170k miles. Runs great, looks amazing.
Kevin, my first experience owning/leasing a Lexus vehicle was a 2007 RX350. It was for the same reason you noted that I pulled the trigger on it after Lexus introduced the 3.5 liter engine to replace the 3.3 liter. It had very good get up and go! I was in heaven driving that car for four years! When my lease ended, I got into a 2010 Lexus RX350 and my sister-in-law went ahead and bought the 2007 RX with the agreed upon price that they set at the end of a leased vehicle. She drove it another 5 years and I'm still driving my 2010 RX ten years later. Fit and finish is really incredible! Other than wear and tear on the leather seats and foggy headlights, every control still works and my '10 RX still drives like new! Very impressed by Lexus vehicles! Oh, and after trading in her RX on a Lincoln MKX and driving that for four years, my sister-in-law is back in a 2017 RX350 F-Sport! LOL!
Oh wow that is awesome yea the RX is such a default choice that you can never go wrong with. Incredible vehicles they last and age great thanks again for sharing!
My 2007 rx350 has 226,000 and still running strong, I do my own preventative maintenance on it.sometimes I don’t realize the car is on and accidentally turn the ignition again, lol
These are fantastic cars, my husband and I bought one with 85k miles. We had to get a few things repaired such as the struts and an axle in the back. Thankfully warranty covered it! 🙏 One thing to keep in mind, REPLACE THE OIL COOLER AND VVTI LINES! The originals are rubber, they have a high failure rate on 3.5s in RX, RAV4, Highlander, Sienna, and the Avalon. Some of the earlier ES and Camrys with the engine had this issue too, but not as many.
I still have my 2008 rx350. It has over 200,000 miles now but I bought it with 98,000 miles in 2013. This car has been phenomenal for me as a single mom. I hope to pass it to my son in about 4-5 years.
I'm looking at one of these to replace the '97 LS400 I've owned for a year. When I test drove one I was honestly impressed at how it handled, the weight to the steering makes it feel like a BMW X3 with none of the bullshit that comes with BMW ownership.
Bought a 2016 RX 350 with 80k miles. Executive's car. Like new. Fully loaded. Love it. Mark Levinson rolling concert hall. Can't stop driving it .... even in my dreams! I watched this guy's videos and read about Lexus reliability and engineering. This car's the real deal.
We bought my wife a 2012 RX350 withh 100K miles sbout 6 months ago. Its like new. Needs no repairs. Powerful smooth motor. Not a sports car but sporty enough to hang a curve now and then. Easy to get in and out. Easy to drive. It is the perfect car to run around in. And never breaks down. And is comfortable. And has great resale.
Bro I drove the exact model few days ago, and I noticed the road noise too, I told the dealer about the noise and he was like no there's none. I thought it was just me. Good review my friend.
I currently have a 2008 RX-350 with 190,000 miles and recently changed out all the struts, springs, strut mounts and sway bar links. I decided to do so because it still drives like a dream and has no leaks. The only repair I have ever done on it over 130,000 miles, I bought it used with 60K, is the alternator. I was in the market for a 2015-2016 RX but when the pandemic hit, I hit the pause button and decided to leave well enough alone. It is driving really well now with the suspension pieces and I will try to squeeze out another 100k before I get rid of it. By the way, my 2002 Camry was left in Texas with my dad and it now has 315k miles on it. I am a Toyota guy and made the mistake of buying a BMW once, it was the worst mistake of my life. Got rid of it in 1.5 years.
I think I agree with that. I have a '19 Ford Ranger with the Ecoboost I4 and I'm not entirely sold on it. It's a nice truck, but the little voice in the back of my head keeps telling me I should have paid a bit more and gone for the Tacoma with the naturally aspirated V6.
We have 5 high mileage Ford F150s with the 3.5 EcoBoost V6 motor and they all run great despite long idling and being driven hard by various employees. They're averaging right around 215,000 kms and show no signs of giving up. All have original engines, turbos and transmissions. The key to their longevity is changing the oil more frequent than what the manual calls for (we change every 7,000kms) and coolant flushes every 50,000kms. Keeps the turbos cool and lubricated which would be the biggest concerns.
Great commentary, I own one in Australia with 230,000 kms on it and wanted to mention the rear tyres are VERY fussy with balancing and you get noise and vibration if they are not right on so these need to be well balanced and kept aligned. I’ll add these things have one of the BEST factory stereos ever in the Mark Levinson model!
I Just traded my 2005 lexus RX 330 with 180K miles!!!! At first I bought a Mercedes as my daily driver, and realized I hated the Mercedes. So I recently sold the Mercedes and purchased a NEW Lexus RX 350 :D.. now I'm back with Lexus ..FYI Audis don't hold up well.. sorry ...
Nice massive congrats yea can't go wrong with an RX. Audis hold up great inside out far better than any other German car I wasn't referring to reliability. Some Range Rovers held up better than Toyotas when you look at their interiors
@@antb6009 255k miles . No issues. Mechanically- all maintenance done Paint looks it just came out of factory despite being an old car. Definitely a keeper
I have an 04 rx330. Another added upgrade to having the rx350 is a timing chain vs a timing belt. That's around a $800 maintenance item done every 100k miles or so. Either way the Lexus RX series has got to be one of the greatest crossover SUVs of all time.
I just watched this video & your reviews are 100% top-notch. However i have an RX350 & mine is AWD with premium options (reverse camera etc) with new sets of Michelin tires. Mine does not make that loud tire road noise like yours so it’s your particular vehicle that needs a new set of good tires or it has some minor faults. Overall the RX350 is reliable & not a problematic SUV. In short, it gets the job done totally 👍🏾
Hey thanks so much my friend and yea I believe a wheel bearing might be going out soon on my test vehicle and yes also a different set of tires would have helped. Great cars for sure!
Hey man. I said it a long time ago and I'll say it again. Your presentation and evaluation is the best that I have seen. I am considering a 2007 es350 or a 2007 rx350 AWD. I live in the Seattle area so still debating if I need AWD. I greatly value your opinions. Keep up the good work.
My wife’s 08 RX350 AWD has around 140K miles on her and it still runs/shifts like a dream. Besides water pump and front wheel bearings replacement, all it needs is oil change and transmission fluid drain/refill every 30k miles. I ask if she wants to trade up for a 2018-19 NX300 F sport and she declines. The RX will most likely goes to my son when he drives in 3 years and she will take my 17 ES350. Then I will be looking for 2020 model year LC500. BTW, my RX is running on Michelin Latitude Tours and they are one of the quietest tires out there.
Solid tire recommendation and Lexus might be one of the few cars that can get passed around like that haha. That is awesome wonderful vehicles you guys have let me know when you scoop up that LC sir!
These are a fantastic vehicle, had this model and the 2012. If your in the market for one don’t look back, the quality, comfort and driving dynamics are absolutely superb. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
I always liked this by style RX 350, recommended it to my parents to pick up a used one, 10 K for 2008 with 95,000 miles, I know it’s gonna be super reliable for the long term however of course immediately the water pump went out Which is a known problem and common On any car, in 2008 it came with different wheels and a standard power liftgate, highly recommend this and the RX 330, I’ve read that the RX330 is actually a little more reliable but you do have a timing belt rather than this which has a timing chain which doesn’t need replacement.
I'm on my 3rd RX. Had a 2003 RX300, traded it in on a 2010 RX350 only because I wanted more features & power, & traded that in for a 2017 RX350 for the tech upgrades and I'll probably keep this one for a long time. Comfortable, luxurious, lots of tech, super reliable and they hold their value very well. In fact, I just purchased a second "for fun" car, a 2006 Lexus SC430 convertible with 130K and it drives as if it were new. I'm a Lexus fan for life.
@@MeynMotorGroup They are hard to find, but out there. If you do get your hands on one, try & find a 2005-2010 to review since Lexus upgraded the shock absorbers in 2005 and the ride is much more in keeping with the car's mission. It's not a sports car and doesn't drive like one. It's not a corner carving machine that will set your heart on fire. That's why it got some bad press way-back-when, but those reviewers didn't understand what this car was about. It's a powerful grand touring luxury convertible.
Oh yea press is on hot garbage and always has been that's why I started reviewing cars because honestly, I agree with none of these reviewers. And good to know about the shock absorber upgrade thanks again!
I’m financing a 2008 Rx 350 Lexus and I love it. Got it at 127,000 miles & it really does run smooth. The only thing I don’t like about it, is what he mentioned in the video about the rough tire noise when I drive it. But it’s funny because it still drives smooth. Also tire censor light is on and need to be fixed. Other than that the car is clean and was well taken care of by previous owner. Beautiful SUV I’m in love 🖤🖤🖤
oh. i have the same this problem. this problem is no good. the tire has little noise. because axle has issues, no good. 😅😅😅. almost axle has issues, or so old. it will be noise with tires, any new tires
The center console slides back and forth. In the back wall of the cup holder, lift a bar, and it slides. It gives room in the back for the middle seat. Try it!
I owned 08 Rx350 for 7 years.I bought this car with 50k miles on it. In 7 yrs of ownership only repair was rack n pinion(that was my fault on steering oil top up) otherwise just regular oil change..this is best car I have owned..I lost this car in an accident..nothing can match the quality of Lexus..currently I own 2016 TLX( bought that after watching your honest review of TLX). But I still feel RX 350 was much better car than my current TLX..anyone looking for buying SUV..can buy RX with less miles and it will age really well..
Yea Lexus is a great ride for sure TLX is still a nice ride for what it is but newer cars won't really have the feel of an older vehicle but you also won't get the tech or safety of a new car if that is important
I agree for buying a bit newer model because of safety features..at the same time old school guys like me are betting more on classics like these cars..or may be LS 430/LX470. Looking fwd to see more reviews for similar cars from you..keep it up Kevin
I have a lexus RX 2008 with 230K (bought it brand new with 8 miles on it) and still going as strong as ever, no isues at all. however i maintained this car ONLY at the ORIGINALdealership religiously and it has paid off.
Hey, nice review! I recently bought a 2015 RX 350 F sport, I love the car so far! Would be nice to see a review from you for the same. Kudos to the effort you put into making these videos.
I have an 06 Audi A3 with 180k and it's a terrific car. It runs great and handles bad weather better than nearly any car on the road. I did buy my daughter an 09 350 and she loves it and should last her until she in her late 20s when she can buy her own car.
@@MeynMotorGroup lol fanboy will be fanboys. I have this exact same car with 140k miles. Mine has had several weird issues over my 2 years of ownership. Some battery drain issues that caused a dead battery, but the other problems have never left me stranded, just annoyed. Sometimes you get a lemon even with a Lexus. I will probably still buy toyota products, but I would say its "superior" to Audi, Benz etc.
There are Audis and then there are Audis. If you stick with the lower end models that are built a bit simpler, then they last a long time. Where Audi gets into trouble is the same place BMW and Mercedes get into trouble: too much bleeding edge tech. Their higher-end cars are overly complicated with far too many expensive failure points. BMW in particular seems to have decided to build cars to lease, not own.
Exhaust Sports Auto TBH, I love my 2013 ES350 but in hindsight I could’ve picked up a 2008/09 ES350 for about $8-9K about 1/2 of what I paid for mine. Reliability and craftsmanship is amazing.
At the start of the year I’ve bought a CT200H with 175.000 miles on it. The thing still looks, feels and drives as if it were brand new. Also own a MX5/Miata with over 200.000 miles on it: great car, but that one does show its age.
THE CONSOLE SLIDES FORWARDS AND BACK!!! That's a shame that you missed that feature because it's something that I use quite often whenever I need to access the 12V outlet on the floor right there.
I love your “significant amount of idiots on the road today” comment. I feel your frustration. I am 53 years old and own a 2004 RX330 and 2007 ES350. I love both vehicles. I wish I wouldn’t have waited so long in life to move into Lexus. Buy a used older one that has service records. Very little maintenance on the models with the timing chain. They seem to last forever and are a very smooth ride. They don’t ride like a Benz. However, they don’t break like one either. Thanks for posting Lexus videos. Great job!
Appreciate that sir glad you liked that comment yes driving has gotten very bad I'm assuming its because we all have smartphones now. Yes Lexus is great can never go wrong with one. Thank you again sir for watching and stopping by
hey man your not that old bro . with todays prices you can sell both those and upgrade to a 2010 rx and a 2013 es for about 6 or 7k along with what you get for the other 2
@@rickross6368 because if you can for a minimal amount of money and are truly a Lexus driver. Due to circumstances coronavirus and economy , you can get them really cheap.
Very thorough review! My brother-in-law is selling his mother's 2007 RX350 for $9,000. It's only got 91,000 miles on it. I'm very tempted. But I've been a Honda guy all my life. I currently drive a 2005 CR-V with over 222,000 miles. Still runs great. But one day it won't. I have a decision to make.
Hi man great video! Quick question - I’m noticing the road noise you had in my rx 50 as well! Did you ever find a solution to remedy that? That would be awesome if you did; literally my only complaint about the car
I'm in the market for a vehicle and came across an 07 RX350 for sale and your video review helped me decide to try and make a deal for it. Thanks for the time you spent to explain the plethora of details thoroughly to the best of your ability. You do a FANTASTIC JOB and we appreciate it. 🙂 The word PLETHORA made my day. 😄
That noise is the tires. 99% sure of it. Wife's 2008 RX had the same annoying issue. Cleared up with new set of Michelins. Great, reliable, solid car. Ours has 140k miles on the clock.
Yes, mine is 234, 420 miles right now on RX300, 2000 model. No problem so far except for wear tear on other parts that you need to replace. I’m the only one who is fixing and touching this car. So far, so good and still using it.
I bought a 2007 Platinum Edition last year with 234k. Ive had front and rear suspension work done etc. at a cost of about $3,500. It runs great, 20-22 mpg consistently, all power features work, and it is comfortable to drive. I would recommend the 350 over the older models but they are less expensive to do front end work on. If you buy a 350, be sure the oil cooler line has been replaced by a metal one like mine has. The original rubber lines fail and you lose your oil and oil pressure very quickly resulting in possible catastrophic engine failure. Overall Im very pleased and would buy another one.
Couple of months ago I bought a 2005 Lexus RX 330 with 170,000 miles (Made in Japan). Not that it needed it but I went ahead and replace the timing belt, timing belt tensioner , waterpump, camshaft seals, spark plugs, valve cover gasket, and spark plug tube seals, replace transmission pan and gasket. Next, i performed a radiator flush and transmission flush. Again, not that it needs it but I’m going to replace both CV joint axles. After all said and done it should last at least until 300,000 miles with good maintenance and oil changes. I know Lexus has the Toyota V6 motors in them. Those things are bulletproof.
Another great review. Seems to perform as well as a car with less than half the mileage it actually has. Rock solid interior, smooth drive train and not a spot of rust in sight. Another triumph for Lexus engineering.

Just bought a 2005 es330 black! Very much in love with it😍
I picked up a 2 owner 1993 ES 300 with 195k miles that was taken care of its entire life and i have to say its absolutely amazing how good the ride quality, interior, features and engine is after a whole 27 years. This speaks volumes for Lexus's quality and I couldn't be happier with my car
Me too. 2005 Lexus LS430.
Amen to that.

Got one of these just recently-
Do you use premium fuel?
I’d love to get one but THIS ONE (her 400h) JUST WON’T DIE!’
And so it goes. If you take decent care of these vehicles, you will, as I tell many of our guests, have the car for as long as YOU want it.
Most Lexus vehicles are very reliable especially Scotty Kilmer agrees also says Toyota/ Lexus very reliable !! Good review by the way
Yup Scotty loves these for sure 👍
sure are! My lexus had 180K and it was still going
Glad you are a Scotty fan! Rev up ur engines!!
scotty’s right this time but not always. he said the LS430 was unreliable lol

Wow the 2018 Lexus RX looks really good

Have owned my 2007 RX350 since new. Have not had any issues apart from normal wear and tear items like brakes and tires. Did change the water pump , radiator, hoses at 170,000 miles not because it was leaking but because I wanted trouble free driving for another 10 years. Overall , a pleasure to own. Not planning on selling mine anytime soon
That is awesome yea great cars for sure

I thought the claim of Audi and Range Rover reliability was especially funny.
@@ozzierabbit587 The Range Rover? Ahhhh NO!
He told the truth and let’s not even think about 10 months to a year AHHHHHH.
That wasn't a reliability claim people just blew that out of proportion I was referring to how the interiors hold up

Way to go!
Appreciate that Nick! Yea loving the V6 for sure and glad I could do something for every price bracket. Thanks again for watching
@@MeynMotorGroup pleasure Kevin
@@xman777b Thanks. Interesting to know!
Lotus uses that same engine!
This is fantastic content! Almost all car reviews focus on brand spanking new cars. But what really matters is how these cars stand the test of time.
I honestly stopped watching mainstream car reviews I never got any value out of them so I had to pick up a Camera and do it myself
My 400H is at 200k miles now....runs strong AF! And I love it 😍
I bought me a 2012 rx350 2 weeks ago . Best choice i ever made . These suvs so comfortable. And great power for a suv.
Massive congrats! They are a phenomenal choice
i just bought an '08 rx350 back in march. it only had 110k on the odometer, and all local dealer maintenance records! everything was recorded. it's also black, with brown interior (which i don't care for, but look at the total package), and aside from a few scratches, is in really good shape!
i've been driving lincoln town cars since '05, and the first one (an '02) was awesome! best car i ever had! the second one (05 - w/48k on it), not so much. i bought that about 3 years ago having worn out my first one. i'm a salesguy that destroys cars! that the first one lasted so long was pretty impressive! one year a put 40k miles on a car! i could see the kwality direction ford was going, so i opted to shop for a used lexus.
so far this thing has been great! as a salesguy, i've rented a metric ton of cars. i see all this radar, backup screen bullshit, and i'm like: this volvo is a great car that could go a long time, but when all this little stuff starts breaking, i'm screwed! what i like about the lexus is that all of it is simple. no electronic crap to break. all simple and reliable. you didn't mention that the mirrors helpfully aim down when you back up. that's new.
it also has all wheel drive capability, and i live in the pacific northwest, so we sometimes get ice storms here. this certainly helps. i saw the one you drive is so equipped. i'm not going to go rock crawling with this, but that should be useful, although i've not had the opportunity to try it out. i also like to go to rural areas to do some plinking in dirt roads, and will have no problem taking it there for that purpose.
i tend to let others pay the "new car tax" and then drive a slightly used car for 10+ years. i just wear them out. i also ride an ebike for local stuff. i'm 58, and this may well be my last car, since i don't drive as much as i used to.
@David Well thanks! i'll look for that.
@David Well could describe where the oil cooler is?
200,000 miles is nothing. Mine has 417,000 as of today. I drive it every day. Now I didn’t put these miles on it personally. In fact I just got it. It’s been serviced 90% of its life at Lexus. Car runs perfectly. Original engine. Transmission was replaced under warranty in 2009.
im with you, i liked this car as a kid when it came out too lol. its a timeless design.
Haha glad I'm not the only one looks so sophisticated for sure thanks for watching
Rocking the 07 with 207 on her. Truly a pleasure to drive.
Thanks on behalf of all humanity for sharing info like this

200k miles in Lexus terms is barely broken in.
Lol yup

Did you replace the rubber oil cooler hose with a metal one? I think there was a recall for it
Got a 2002 Lexus ES300 with 392,000 miles and never have done anything other than oil changes, plugs, and air filter once lol. They’re built to last
That is wicked nice job Kyle

Haha thank you my friend really appreciate you
Me too why r car maker making smaller engine I4 wit turbo dat i love v6 easy poor

My 2002 RX300 is still in great shape and going strong!!! Will never get anything but a Lexus in this lifetime!!!
Thank you for your review, I am thinking of getting one.

Yea solid rides and good points about the RX 330 and RX 350
I'm on my 3rd RX. Had a 2003 RX300, traded it in on a 2010 RX350 only because I wanted more features & power, & traded that in for a 2017 RX350 for the tech upgrades and I'll probably keep this one for a long time. Comfortable, luxurious, lots of tech, super reliable and they hold their value very well. In fact, I just purchased a second "for fun" car, a 2006 Lexus SC430 convertible with 130K and it drives as if it were new. I'm a Lexus fan for life.
I've been looking everywhere for an SC to review haha congrats on all those amazing Lexuw products

@@kenth6140 Yes I’m thinking once I get the tires sensors fixed that noise will go away?
The center console slides back and forth. In the back wall of the cup holder, lift a bar, and it slides. It gives room in the back for the middle seat. Try it!
The centre can be moved forward for the back middle seats. There’s a small lever in the cup holder section.
Yea Im very old school as well and those are certainly some great vehicles you mentioned really appreciate you watching and supporting
I have a lexus RX 2008 with 230K (bought it brand new with 8 miles on it) and still going as strong as ever, no isues at all. however i maintained this car ONLY at the ORIGINALdealership religiously and it has paid off.
Excellent review, greatly appreciated as I’m considering this vehicle, or one of the larger Lexus SUV’s
Hey, nice review! I recently bought a 2015 RX 350 F sport, I love the car so far! Would be nice to see a review from you for the same. Kudos to the effort you put into making these videos.
Lost me at the horrid words “Audi” “Range Rover” “holding up” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yea Lexus whorees hate hearing that still, need to keep it objective cant just Jerk Lexus off the entire time
@@MeynMotorGroup Integrity............
Lexus IS KING 🤴!! My 2013 ES350 will be a keeper for plenty of years!! Great 👍 video Kevin
It def is thanks again sir!
Exhaust Sports Auto TBH, I love my 2013 ES350 but in hindsight I could’ve picked up a 2008/09 ES350 for about $8-9K about 1/2 of what I paid for mine. Reliability and craftsmanship is amazing.
Yea but your 2013 Does look amazing it will pass for a 2020 or in general a brand new car 👌
At the start of the year I’ve bought a CT200H with 175.000 miles on it. The thing still looks, feels and drives as if it were brand new. Also own a MX5/Miata with over 200.000 miles on it: great car, but that one does show its age.
Nice!
Great video... loved every bit of it... the humour... the sarcasm on German cars... the technicality.... keep up the good work mate..!!❤️
Thank you again sir for watching and stopping by
hey man your not that old bro . with todays prices you can sell both those and upgrade to a 2010 rx and a 2013 es for about 6 or 7k along with what you get for the other 2
kevin johnson upgrade why?
@@rickross6368 because if you can for a minimal amount of money and are truly a Lexus driver. Due to circumstances coronavirus and economy , you can get them really cheap.
14.43 that centre tunnel actually slides forward, there's a lever hidden under the front storage compartment that you pull up to do that..
It's real wood and mine has all the upgrades. Awd. Backup camera. Heated seats. Power liftgate. Tow pkg.
Mine as well, but seats horrid wear
Very thorough review! My brother-in-law is selling his mother's 2007 RX350 for $9,000. It's only got 91,000 miles on it. I'm very tempted. But I've been a Honda guy all my life. I currently drive a 2005 CR-V with over 222,000 miles. Still runs great. But one day it won't. I have a decision to make.
Similar issue here...
We will be waiting for a review on the ES330 from you😊..
Hopefully one day if I can find one!
14:45 you can move the center forward for more middle backseat space.
My mom has one of these. 2007. 104k miles. Still quiet as a church mouse and smooth as a baby’s ass.
Haha nice
Thanks again and I definitely agree such a solid vehicle I have been very impressed with these high mileage Lexus cars!
