"So do you know rich rebuilds?"
      "Umm, no"
"Oh, well, he's a guy on youtube who rebuilds Teslas".
      "Oh, okay."
"Yeah so, he was apparently treated badly by Tesla for rebuilding Tesla's and pointing out issues with Tesla cars and Tesla as a company".
"Oh really? I don't know, never heard of that whole situation, Yeah I mean, Tesla tries to prevent any sort of Liability concerns to make sure nobody gets hurt when rebuilding Tesla's, but I don't know about the situation or any of the other details, so, ill look into it -strong head nod-".
      "Okay anyways.."
Maybe it would go somewhere positive, who knows, but yeah, I doubt there would be tons of headway made there, Joe would REALLY have to understand the entire situation, break it out, and advocate for rich to really get the ball rolling on the situation, but I'm pretty sure Joe would rather talk about whatever the hell else Elon is doing in his life. I won't pretend I know Elon, but I highly doubt he knows what's going on with Rich rebuilds and Tesla. I'm sure he knows Tesla's are getting rebuilt, and I'm sure he's told them he doesn't want Liability issues and is probably late to all of those discussions as they have to trickle upwards, but yeah, sometimes being so high up, its hard to be sympathetic to the voices down below if you can't hear them.
You really only hear something once it festers up and its everywhere.

The only real goal of any company is to profit. How they get that profit varies. The average way is for the company to do everything they can to "protect their image" and fabricate an image that sells products. No company cares about you or their customers any more than they have to. The only time a company shows care for a customer is when they deem that not showing care would be bad for their "image". Tesla is no different than Microsoft, no different than Nestle, no different than any other major company. The only real goal is money.
