The main problem of christian understanding of the concept of death is that Death is punishment itself while Death is nothing but a universal law, every living thing isn't exempted, it is a transition, a journey. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" Romans 6:23 . This can not be the truth, otherwise those saved by Jesus would not die and live eternal life, Here on earth or they are not forgiven this is the reason they die!!!

So when this is the creed given to man, and Death exists ONLY in this realm, we are living in, so the Death in Genesis 2:16-17 must occur on earth. Hence Jesus came and died on the cross to annul this creed spilling his blood for the our Sins. If above mentioned claims are true, and believers are forgiven, Death is also a consequence of Sin commited, and that Death occurs ONLY in this reality then Death should cease to exist. Period. Punishment of Sin in the eyes of God is eternal life of doom and torture in the Hell fire not death, if I die where is the punishment then I ceased to exist?. On the other hand this is a human way of limited thinking that if ourselves or our loved ones passed on to the unknown, we grieve for our loss since here is the only home we ever knew, this is the same as the day we are coming to this earth from our mother's womb crying and panicking - fear of the unknown, we prefer to be left alone in the womb.

What Dhul-Qarnayn saw was the image of the sun setting in a dark body of water. Since the Qur’an is clearly describing this from Dhul-Qarnain’s direct point of view (the Qur’an is quite explicit here in doing that), there is, in fact, no problem with the description of what Dhul-Qarnain saw. Of course, one is correct in saying that “the sun does not set in a spring of murky water”, but try standing at a beach during the time when the sun is about to set and anyone would be able to see the sun “entering” the sea far in the horizon. Mansur shows his ignorance in the first 5 minutes. It's not the crime of Adam that we are guilty of, what occurred when they ate of the fruit was that sin entered the world. “Till, when he reached the setting place of the sun…”, means that Zul Qarnain followed a route until he reached the furthest point that could be reached in the direction of the sun’s setting, which is the west of the earth. As for the idea of his reaching the place in the sky where the sun sets, this is something impossible, and the tales told by storytellers that he traveled so far to the west that the sun set behind him are not true at all. Most of those stories come from the myths of the People of the Book and the fabrications and lies of their heretics.
“he found it setting in a muddy spring…”means that he saw the sun as if it were setting in the ocean. This is something that everyone who goes to the coast or beach can see: it looks as if the sun is setting into the sea, but in fact it never leaves its path in which it is fixed. The main problem of christian understanding of the concept of death is that Death is punishment itself while Death is nothing but a universal law, every living thing isn't exempted, it is a transition, a journey.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" Romans 6:23 . This can not be the truth, otherwise those saved by Jesus would not die and live eternal life, Here on earth or they are not forgiven this is the reason they die!!!

So when this is the creed given to man, and Death exists ONLY in this realm, we are living in, so the Death in Genesis 2:16-17 must occur on earth. Hence Jesus came and died on the cross to annul this creed spilling his blood for the our Sins. If above mentioned claims are true, and believers are forgiven, Death is also a consequence of Sin commited, and that Death occurs ONLY in this reality then Death should cease to exist. Period.
One more thing, we agree this world is temporary and everything in it including Death. And Judgement and Punishment are Eternal. So clearly, it is not true that the consequence of a Sin is Death but rather Eternal Hell Fire,

Punishment of Sin in the eyes of God is eternal life of doom and torture in the Hell fire not death, if I die where is the punishment then I ceased to exist?. he found it set in a spring of murky water”: The Qur’an is obviously describing what Dhul-Qarnayn saw. What Dhul-Qarnayn saw was the image of the sun setting in a dark body of water. Since the Qur’an is clearly describing this from Dhul-Qarnain’s direct point of view (the Qur’an is quite explicit here in doing that), there is, in fact, no problem with the description of what Dhul-Qarnain saw.
Of course, one is correct in saying that “the sun does not set in a spring of murky water”, but try standing at a beach during the time when the sun is about to set and anyone would be able to see the sun “entering” the sea far in the horizon. This, therefore, gives us the conclusion that Dhul-Qarnayn was somewhere west and by a large body of water, possibly the sea.

It's not the crime of Adam that we are guilty of, what occurred when they ate of the fruit was that sin entered the world. We are born into a world corrupted by sin and therefore we too are corrupted by that original sin as we are all descendants of Adam and eve. This is the correct understanding of the sin nature.
mdace34 how does a sin, corrupt billions of individuals? The sin does not corrupt us, the devil does, as he did with Adam and Eve. The sin is the transgression, not the initial cause of corruption.

The temptation of the serpent did not cause sin and death to enter the world. It was the choice to transgress against what God commanded.
