OBF Charizard was my first big hit coming back into the hobby over a year ago at this point. Working on getting the OBF and PAF Charizards framed together.
151 has brought so many people back to pokemon card collecting that I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes the new base set for the modern age. It'll probably explode in price 20 years from now when nostalgia for 151 sets in
@@2Balendin2 Everyone I talked to said 151 brought them back and so many parents are opening 151 with their kids so the potential for this set to skyrocket once those kids grow up and look back on their childhood
@@Onerandomguy1 yeah and most of the people who're being brought back are in their 30-40s so when they retire they'll probably need a new hobby and it might well be collecting again (30+ years time.)
Paradox Rift SIR's are slept upon... The IRON FREAKING VALIANT SIR on that set is cool asf! It also includes other Future paradox pokemons! (Adds to its majesty)
i think the problem with PR is that well a lot of the pokemon aren't that great in terms of being "favourites" and they're unlikely to make a return (as they're just alternate forms of other mons)
Pulling bubble mew was actually how I got back into Pokemon after 15 years now, been 1 months and I’ve already spent over $1000 on Pokemon unfortunately

Decided to get a japanese bubble mew in a psa 10. It has extra texture, the text doesn’t cover the bellsprouts eyes, and costs around the same as a raw english copy. Definitely an underrated card
Crown zenith is one of my favorite sets, those gold cards are criminally undervalued right now which is why it makes it such a good set to invest in as it’s still fairly cheap!
I started getting into pokemon because I wanted to have something that I could relate to my younger brother with. He is 12 years young than I am, but he still my best friend. I feel pokemon helped us get along when we were very different. Tetapagos is such an awesome card.
I’m really excited about the PC Magneton promo. It’ll be my first ETB and I started noticing TCG when I saw the Shinji Kanda Giratina card. I couldn’t believe how beautiful the art looked. Now I collect his illustrations, just got a Giraffarig from Masquerade. I don’t care that it’s a common, it’s so beautiful!
I’ve just started collecting again after forgetting about how much fun and enjoyment opening a pack of cards was. I have started saving items for an investment and thankyou so much for your honest videos detailing what to look for and what to avoid. Big fan. Thankyou ❤️
Interesting to me to see how much better they did with the stellar rainbow concept. I think they greatly upped their game in scarlet and violet artwork over sword and shield.

Anyway, I’m late to this video, but I just want to say that this Magneton is a masterpiece, and would be sad if it doesn’t get to the top 10 of the Gen 9 era (I know it’s too much, but this card deserves it). And another card that deserves more, is the Terapagos, since the artwork is as detailed as the Magneton (even though I prefer the Magneton).
also I would point out that when you comment the mew, let your viewers know to watch out for bots pretending to be you. Unfortunately youtube is crawling with them.
I agree that the Charizard ex is going to hit big in the future. It’s such a cheap price right now and I know it was kinda affected by easier pull rates and just an overlooked set comparable to Darkness Ablaze.
Philippines here, I wasn't aware for the 7-11 Lapras promo card and I just recently got the news that they have it in my nearest store in my area but I was too late as it was already bought out. Hope that they got a restock in the future or more kind of promo cards😂

i havent seen this channel but it is worth subbing to, as a child i collected fates collide, steamsiege, evolutions and did 4 packs of guardians rising. now iam getting back at cracking packs again after a 7 years and get nice cards, started with stellar crown and now iam looking for paradise dragona.
I’m new to collecting, this is actually really helpful. I’m trying to shift from ripping open a stupid amount of packs to buying singles like my friends have been suggesting

I just recently got back into collecting Pokemon cards, to which I haven't since the base set/neo Discovery days. I'm loving the info you have on your channel, and the Terrapagos is probably one of my favorite cards I've recently pulled along the Charmander promo and the Squirtle
Mew is my favourite Pokémon, some collectors will spend more some less. Personally I have a bad experience buying cards over 5-10$, 1-2 years old after that you will find less people collecting for master sets and the price gets cheaper.

Masterballs to the moon 📈 I think temporal forces and paradox rift are being slept on, when packs start to become scarce the hits will jump up and crown zenith I have no doubts whatsoever will be huge in a few years, I personally will be putting aways as much sealed as I can
Yes, I definitely believe in the Crown Zenith singles. I think the set is so slept on right now because of the high print run. It will skyrocket at any point.

About a year ago I found a Magikarp SIR in a Japanese card shop for only 2000 yen or about, $17 but didn’t buy it cuz I barely didn’t have enough. Now it’s worth $110, I feel so bad.😭

Astral radiance is one of the most underated Sword and shield sets. The artworks are amazing and some of my favorite pokemon are in there like beedrill and Machamp. Good luck to everyone btw:)
Hey, Phil! I have an explanation for you as to why the CZ singles have decreased in value lately. Here in the U.S., Sam's Club released a special Sea and Sky Collection box which is literally just 14 CZ packs for $40. That has pumped up the supply over the past couple months. Once we stop getting supply injections, you're right; those cards are going to start increasing again. Thanks for the content.
I think you raise a good point about the Obsidian Flames SIR Charizard in that you need to see it in person to really get why it's such a great piece of art.

Which item should I prioritize to buy as a new collector/investor, Twilight Masquerade or 151 UPC? I'm debating between these two, since they're both so good to keep for a long time for their cards.
Keep it up. Almost watched all ur videos. But still not sure if i want to invest in singles, but started a bit investing in displays. More easy, but we all know it. Have some of this high value cards and look at them from time to time just feels to good
I really like the Masterball Reverse Holos becuase it was a great way to get people to care about the other cards in a set. When people pull these packs they are excited for the whole pack because of the chance for a masterball reverse, whereas with other packs we just do the card trick and theres no love shown to the 'bulk'. Its just something different and I'm here for it.
i feel like paldean fates is a super underrated set i feel like as soon as it’s harder to find sealed products all the cards are going to shoot up! The Clive SIR only being $11 is crazy to me
that crown zenith zacian is some amazing art and i think these will be under rated going forward. look out for the value on these in the future a whole new genertion will be wanting them ( like us with charizard)

my brother bought me an obsidian flames ebt because he felt bad that i couldn’t afford one and he wanted me to feel included with our friends that were opening some and i pulled the charizard SIR i was so happy
The artwork of the illustration and special illustration rares is what brought me into collecting this year. My current favourite artwork is the Eevee illustration rare. I hope I’m lucky enough to own it some day!

I think Crown Zenith will have a point of growth coming up, but I think it'll take time due to how much it's been printed and how available it's been since release. The set is amazing and the arts are incredible, so there is no doubt that I see them coming up in value eventually. One of my favorite sets ever.
