Hi Rudy! I hope you are well. Glad to see you back with a haul! Yes, “on the 6” was indeed Jennifer Lopez’s debut, and not a bad one I might add. I am a huge Chic fan, “Good times” is a gem. Prince was a real musical genius, one of a kind. He is sorely missed! My brother saw Kiss live a few months ago, he said they were brilliant. I have been listening to a lot of Sheena Easton lately, she is one of my all time fave female singers, very easy on the eyes as well 😂😂😂. I was able to see Nike Rodgers & Chic a few years back when they opened for Duran Duran. I like Sheena Easton also… remember when she was on that tv show Miami Vice? That was a great show! Hi Daddy Rudy! I've already cleaned out the Goodwill on La Brea and 8th in West LA, and the one on Lankershim in North Hollywood (even slimmer pickings there!). All the other Goodwills are meh. Where else can I go? I'd hate to waste airfare and hotel, only to find nada. Maybe more SF and SD next time. - Red
I’ve been hitting that area lately because I have been hanging out with a friend who live out that way. I don’t usually do to good in LA. I try to hit the Yard sales. That’s usually the last stop for physical media before it lands in the thrift stores. I don’t travel about in search of music but It is cool to find some scores when I’m on the road.
