Why can’t people just come out here and be supportive what these kids are out here doing. People think Allen soft and can’t hang with Cali or Florida. Honestly at the end of the day the play talented teams in their own respective ways. Y’all keep trying to categorize highschool football when at this level it’s learning technique and preparing for college ball. Still competitive but definitely a big learning environment.

Hell the playoffs here in Texas compose of at least 32 teams, I'm from the Rio Grande valley and ill be honest our teams down here aint the best but we defiantly are the strongest , especially in the power lifting category, here in Texas you never know what the other teams got til you actually play.. Don't get me wrong I believe California NO DOUBT has some amazingly talented athletes, but texas is more like the no mans land, anyone out here can prove there worthy 💯

Texas schools don’t recruit with the exception of like 2-4 move ins give or take but Allen get away with getting more because all the surround schools up in north Dallas have about 3-4 schools per city bc of size and population but somehow the only one that just have one school, where all the talent can go to just so happens to be Allen, who also gets away with getting a few players/students from closer schools. If desoto cedar hill duncanville and Lancaster was one school, they would be #1 in Texas too, and it probably won’t even be close

All the talent in Utah doesn't play for east high. Most of the division 1 players come out of timpview, corner canyon and Bingham. So the #1 team in Texas should whoop east. Football is not religion in high school football in Utah. Texas definitely takes their high school football seriously.

The strength of Texas HS football are the coaches association....transfer rules are tough ...they will play private schools from other states or even Texas if it’s true private school. They WILL NOT allow any teams to schedule IMG...not cause they scared but because IMG “raids” states and they while attractive to some players, Texas knows how to keep snakes out of barn...don’t let them on the farm

UIL doesn’t allow recruiting. Why would a student would want to wait a year just to play some football or any sport? A student has to move before school starts to be part of the roster because if a student transfer in the middle of the year, they are ineligible. In terms of recruiting, in some ways it’s true but it’s the student and his or her parents choice to move into the school zone if they want exposure because schools attract talent. Public schools cannot recruit but can attract talent thus giving a depth of talent and continuing to dominate.
Judging by the Alamo bowl, this Texas high school team probably could have beaten the Utes.

East High Football team is trash !!! They have zero pass game and try to bully teams with their run game. Any team with 4 legit DBs could stack the box with the rest of the team all night and stop their run and force them to throw. Not Only only that, their pass defense is trash too but it looks like their run defense is too with the way this school ran all over them. Once East gets behind on the score they try to pass which they're not elite at so it's always a problem
Well, they lost their 2nd string Quarterback a week before this game. They had to play a Quarterback with 4 days of practice from the JV team. Have to keep the plays very basic.

Listen kid. Allen was only named by 1 poll all 3 years. High School Football America which is biased toward Texas schools. Why, in each of those years in the other poll another team was chosen in multiple poll. Also, Bishop Gorman called and challenged all the state champions from the big three states. Florida, California and Texas (Cedar Hill) accepted, it was only Allen that refused. I believe Bishop Gorman why, because look at their schedule in 2016. Allen pads their schedule, they only play teams they know they can beat during the regular season. Kid you spouting out stats from years past is not the reality today.

Open your eyes...See what they are doing. They are not the fearless team like Texans make them out to be. They don't take on competition that is equal or better than them. They schedule (purposely) competition that is inferior to them. Regardless of what state it comes from.
Why in the last few years we have seen all the great teams from other states clash but Allen isn't one of them. It's in plain sight, they are scheduling for playoff positioning. The UIL allows this travesty. Other Texas teams do it also, not all.
See, in other States, the better teams are grouped against each other. They don't allow you to run rampant and beat the crap out of everyone. Most of Allen's games are over by the third quarter. Giving the players rest for the playoffs. It means not too many minutes on the athlete's body. So they are fresher for the playoffs.
Hell, they won't even play the better teams in Texas.

Allen has one of the weakest schedules in Texas in terms of region and district schedules for a powerhouse. Region 3 and Region 4 have tons of competition because that’s where the big powerhouses are in 6a, where majority of them can take on Allen.
They are scheduling for playoff position. Majority of their games are over with by halftime giving their athletes more rest than the other teams in Texas. So, not only do they get the advantage of rest they also get the #1 seed. Another advantage since they don't have to play anyone of significance until deep in the playoffs. By then other Texas teams are beatup from playing other good Texas teams. Padding is what they are doing.

This padding is nothing new Colleges did it in the 90's. That's why most states don't allow padding. UIL all to be ashamed of themselves when it is as clear as day.
