Thank you!!! This is the most useful and clear explanation of how to use a planner I have come across. Can’t wait to explore your planners

I’m using the daily/weekly version for 2024 and I’m so glad I watched this video. I was having a little block at how to use the daily pages. This is great inspiration. BTW I use the time block method for my must does. Works pretty well for me.

I started using your weekly planner mid-year after Cindy Guentert-Baldo reviewed it. I really like it and your approach, as well as your general vibe in your emails and this adorable and useful video. Looking forward to the daily-weekly hybrid (?) for 2024, as I’m truly a daily planner but also like a weekly overview.

I'm thrilled you reallly like your planner! That's great news. I appreciate the comment and compliment too 💗I think you'll love the new daily with the weekly dashboard ahead of every week. Details out very soon.

I use all of these techniques for productivity as an amalgamated theory. Use GTD for virtual email management of my work inbox. Use batching for admin. Use timeblocking for work task scheduling. Eisenhower for project and priority management. This all gets captured in my paper planner with Outlook electronically managing my work calendar and paper managing personal appointments.
Edit: I like a pretty planner that I don't have to decorate (yet I could should I get motivated). I'm loving the 2024 layout and think it captures space that I can use now that will also evolve with me. My most difficult area is project tracking for EVERYTHING seems to be a project (as defined by David Allen). The Eisenhower is a game changer for scheduling tasks on projects.

    Dear Heather,
Thanks for the video which I found helpful, but I would like to share that the background music was far too intrusive. It was fighting for my attention. I would consider totally losing the music: your words and graphics are enough.
    Kind regards,
    Carol

This is a clear simple checklist of how to plan a day. I'm going to look at your weekly planning next. As for my productivity method, I think I would choose the Pomodoro, The Eisenhower Matrix, and the Frog. I can't decide which one is best because they all have a purpose. I've done batching for a long time with my house management (Monday Yard, Tuesday deep clean, Wed. Desk day, Thursday errands, and Friday surface cleaning).

Good point on each productivity method having its place! I love your house management blocks too. Thank you for sharing!
