I thought Bob had the Super Stumper at 10:41, but he said "lasers" instead of "laser." There must have been a rule that the plates had to be read exactly in order to count.
jhillst There definitely was. You see it come into play during the first round in this clip when the super stumper is DD2DFRM. Deed to the farm was the correct answer, but they counted deeds to the farm as being incorrect.
@@ThunderFist1978 They sure try and get it in there so they won't have to give the money sometimes. They want to cheat sometimes and give it away on others. It's still fun to watch.lol
Wink Martindale should have stuck with Tic Tac Dough and the US arm of Barry and Enright Productions or joined Richard Kline and most of B&Es staff after the death of Jack Barry
This aired originally on the USA Network between June 27-December 23, 1988, and aired on Global in Canada around the same time frame. This doesn't look to be from Gametv because there's no logo on the screen; GameTV Canada in recent times did air some episodes from both the first and second seasons of this show
Zach Horan was it the timeframe with the second bonus round format? I remember seeing it on Global on July 21, 1988 and it was on the second bonus round format by then.
Thanks for posting, I used to have an episode with Karen and Kent. It was picking up when they were playing against terry & Hartley and ended playing against Rona and Joanne.
Wink Martindale left Barry and Enright to help create this show. This show was ok but Martindale probably should have stayed with Barry and Enright and Tic-Tac-Dough. He also could have left with Richard S. Kline just as just short of ¾ of the staff with him, including Jack Barry's sons left shortly after Jack Barry's death in 1985
I remember watching this with my mom and dad when it was on USA network. Thank you so much for sharing this!
The studio audience was basically upcoming contestants and staff and crew. Thanks
Mrs. Scanlon, we have nice party gifts, thanks for playing. (LHS)

Funny how the host says LASERS when going over it
I enjoyed this show when it was on the USA Network.

With cheap cash prizes. A US version should've been made.
@@nicka727 June 27-Dec 23, 1988 were the original US airdates of the second season with this bonus round format.

The buzzer sounds just like the one on the Pyramid Game Show
The 'ding' was from Concentration '73, Password Plus, Chain Reaction '80, and Blockbusters '80.
How has GSN not revived this yet?
2:42 Wrong show.
I still said it would be 'deeds to the farm' but it is 'deed to the farm'
I also notice there's no studio audience. I'm guessing they shot the show at a closed set.
Laurie and Keith. Their last name wasn't Partridge was it? No, I'm pretty sure it wasn't.
HOLY CRAP IT`S RICK ASTLEY! 10:59
NOPE THE FIRST FAMILY SAID DEEDS TO THE FARM

Jack Barry died in 1984
Actually, Barry & Enright productions was involved in the show. He left Tic Tac Dough to produced Headline Chasers for Merv Griffin Productions.
Shall we play the next game....? No that's ok Al we will just go home thanks.
Funny. I thought the host looked like Robert Palmer.
@tedrowland8672. Your comment is stupid.
this guy embarrassed the guys asking them if they are dating anyone. They are dating each other. He should not have asked such nosey questions
