I like this theme tune. One of those unassuming ones that ambles along, but that hides some really quite accomplished musicianship.

I loved this show. I'm not too sure who could be as good as Tom O'Connor if it were to be rehashed.
Barry Cryer was the original host as he hosted the first 2 series then Tom took over as host from series 3 onwards.

I reckon someone like Gyles Brandreth - seems to have a way with words! Knowing ITV though,they'll just use Stephen Mulhern as they do for everything else. He's an utterly crap host of Catchphrase.
poor tom has died today aged 81, so sad a legend .
Tom didn’t get to finish saying that Boston Crab is a wrestling hold.
I am such a geek I love this
She's still knocking on doors in Maghull, giving people his love.

Brian - was the crosswits legend really displayed on the studio flooror was that just a visual effect that was only seen on screen?
