Last year I traveled to El Salvador 3 times and I used my chivo wallet at Walmart, Super selectos and any place that allow me to pay with bitcoin, the point here is to teach and make people comfortable using bitcoin. It is easy and simple. Good luck with the bitcoin city and let's re elect Bukele for another period. 2024- 2029.😎

As far as I know, locals have benefited from the current government policies, e.g., public security, better roads, more and improved hospitals, better schools, and so on and so forth. In the same fashion, Salvadorians around the globe, who have been neglected for decades, will be entitled to vote in the upcoming elections. By the way, more infrastructure, including venues are anticipated in the next couple of years. Our eyes are wide open, more than ever before ...the fact is we don't approach the scenario with the same glasses you use, which, by the way, have political filters.

Nayib Bukele will run again in 2024 and win by a long stretch. He has over 90% support of the population. The term will be for 6 more years, which means he'll be there till 2030. After that, his ideals would be grounded so strong that any other candidate from Nuevas Ideas would only be required to manage what he establishes in the next 7 years. The future is REALLY bright in El Salvador,🇸🇻😎

I admired this people for moving to El Salvador and stating a new life there. It not easy starting a new Life in another country but at the end is paid off, I never regretted moving to the USA. And I will go back to my country El Salvador to stay there.

I plan to go to El Salvador next year for a few months and work from there while my kids attend school to learn Spanish. I’ll need info on what’s required to be able to work remotely from El Salvador. For example, do I pay taxes to El Salvador from my earnings while living there and working for a company outside of ES? I don’t mind doing that, but I needed to know the when, the how, and what is legally necessary before moving to live there.
yes That's the best way you can do trying to learn more in Spanish. it's going to be more easy for you guys if you trying to move to El Salvador first you need to do is go check some place. nice area you need to check first. everything

Hi Sarah. This type of question will probably need paid professional advice. But from our experience you can bring money in as Bitcoin and not need to pay tax. We use a service called Bitwage to convert a clients USD to Bitcoin for us. We have been advised that this income is not being taxed here. And we can use Chivo ATM to withdraw cash when needed. No need to declare tax.
There is also a nomad style visa that can also help if you need. It’s best to ask a number of people about different service providers as well. As not all are equal in price and knowledge.

And it will mean economic opportunities as overnight the region will be united with a population of around 60 million people.

Hey guys I’m Salvadorian and is normal to be worried about a big change, but Bukele is doing excellent and 98% of people in the country loves him and 99.9% outside of the country loves him. I got Bitcoin and a lot of Salvadorian got Bitcoin to support this project. So, Bukele and you guys are not alone, plus 98% wants Bukele to run for second term and not just Salvadorian the whole Latinamerica wants Bukele to be their president from Mexico to Argentina, something unseen before. Hello, thank you for your videos. I am just starting to learn about bitcoin. I got a wallet; however, when I bought some bitcoin, they changed me like 13%. What is the benefit of using bitcoin, if from the start, you are loosing money. Is there a way to buy bitcoin without having to pay so much money.? I am planning to travel to El Salvador in the near future.
Hi, great questions and thanks for asking. There is actually a lot to cover here. And I"m not sure the best place to start. But yes, 13% is high. There are other places to buy at better rates. Or by earning bitcoin directly through trading value. The exchange price of bitcoin moves a lot, and that can also help with value when managed well. Take a look at the Strike app, Cash app for USA bank connects. There are others like River as well. We don't have any major fees or spreads on buying/selling bitcoin, but we are exposed to exchange rate. But we are on the bitcoin standard and plan accordingly. Also, please take a look at the books on our website, they can help to explain why we moved to a bitcoin standard. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching.

Hi, thanks for commenting. I wouldn't say it has been a total failure. I think it is too soon to judge the outcome. The project has had many positive outcomes that are bearing financial fruit. And there are more plans in progress. And it can often take time for new technology like this to be adopted. People also called PC's, smart phones and the internet total failures before their time as well. Today they are important parts of many peoples lives.
