Salvadorian President Nayib Bukele recently announced that he will send Congress a proposal to grant citizenship to foreigners who invest in the Central American country, another step in the populist leader's plan to bolster the country's economy by attracting non-traditional capital. What are the benefits of investing in El Salvador? In this video, Andrew will share his opinion about El Salvador.
Reminder: Since September, El Salvador had attracted increasing international interest when it passed a law that made the cryptocurrency Bitcoin legal tender. Like the new package of El Salvador reforms, that law was first proposed by Bukele.

They have a plan why they now clean-up the country from the gangs, I do not know this plan, but the gangs also were part of the plan the time before. Panama seems also to be a trap, a lot of people went to Panama like to a promised land, the country showed its real face during Covid and the tyranny there.
I recommend reading the constitution of countries, whereas Costa Rica grants life and property, Panama does not grant it, for El Salvador it for sure is worth reading it. El Salvador could be a trap, too. Attract people to move to the country, after enough are there they can change laws to rob them from their property or worse. Sure, it goes worse in the west, too.

    • @adlorin

@ev This concern is something that many have when considering a non-western country, whom haven’t lived abroad. I’ve been around both Central America and South-East Asia, and can say this much; there are no-go zones. Be smart and avoid those areas. We really don’t have no-go zones in the US, less you consider The Chaz or George Flyod Square, so we don’t have the frame of reference.
The same common sense of avoiding crime ridden shit-holes here applies abroad. Most any nation’s areas of middle-class working folks are great places to start and work from there! You’ll get to understand the vibe of the culture and will be surrounded by fellow people whom are more focused on family and progress of their quality of life.

Don´t ruin the culture or push rural citizens out. I am Salvadoran and the greatest luxury is to be able to be happy on farm land that we can AFFORD. With this, soon our own citizens will be displaced with big white boxes. Our animals will be gone, we will be told to be quiet, and have more police and patroling to protect foreign people. That is a huge fear for citizens.

That El Salvadorean president is BASED! Hope he succeeds. BIG problems brewing in Mexico! A recent video on the youtube Tangerine Travels channel showed a tourist saying he'd been traveling on a bus from Tulum to Playa del Carmen, the bus was stopped by immigration and he was asked for his visa, which he assumed was 180 days but had only been approved for 26. Because it had already expired, they threw him in PRISON where he shared a cell with maybe a dozen other people and one stinky toilet in the open. They were basically fed scraps and had no water. He was told there were only two days a week he was allowed to make a phone call (if the phone wasn't out of order), and they held his phone so, luckily, he knew his mother's phone number. She contacted the (German) embassy and he was out a few days later, after spending about a week there. He met many, many others in prison who'd been there for six months or MORE and had nothing but the clothes on their back and didn't know how they would ever get out. This is happening in Q.Roo and Mexico City, he said, and he believes the locals are packing the prisons to get more money from the federal government. Along with the other changes, this could seriously affect extended travel in Mexico!

El Salvador is a very beautiful country but the #1 problem is the violence. Unless you want to live in a resort or gated community, it's not a very safe place. I love moving around, driving freely so no resort or gated community for me. Between 2013 and 2019 when I last visited, a lot has changed. I've been there 5 times and my only problem is the security. Actually the people who are accusing him of that are the very people who actually did those things with the gangs (the opposition ARENA and FMLN parties) they know people on the outside are not familiar with what happen before, so they send disinformation to confuse or make beleive that outright lie and lies; they are desperate to bring El Salvador back to those 40 years of none progress and staleness that they had when their corruption was on display and had no shame .
So they use the media of this nation whom they control to sell that lie but the salvadoreans know better they were witness to all that they did, plus the US media gets there source from these bought off corrupt and sold out news companies.

A map for every video that talks about a specific countries CBI program and showing Visa free travel versus say a US passport is essential and valuable and will increase your viewership.
