Why this band isn't in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is beyond me. They should EASILY get admitted under the "Influencers" category after so many bands were inspired by them, most notably, Guns and Roses.
Proud to be Australian and even prouder that the first time I ever heard Rose Tattoo in very early 1980's made me into a lifetime fan. Too rough edged for America, unfortunately. Ahead of their time. That, and during 82 there was a ton of competition for rock radio air slots. Still, it pissed me off that radio wouldn't touch them. The Screaming Jets also got passed over Stateside. Radio barely touched them. The Gorilla album should have been a natural for US rock radio. Oh well.
