The shot of them fighting isn't the same one as on the poster because the one on the poster had Kylo with his helmet. Now, this could have been somewhat in the middle of the fight, maybe he took it off, but they confirmed he's gonna have his helmet on during a duel.

The little that we saw of The Rise of Skywalker was dope! It's definitely going to be interesting to see how all of this plays out with Rey, Kylo, and what's the Emperor's role will be. I can't wait!

Rey is a clone created by Palpatine using as a basis the daughter of some scrap seekers (Kylo says it when the mind reads) and Anakin's midichlorians, and indeed in the last Jedi scene, where she tries to see her parents, she sees only she repeated endlessly. Rey in the end scene an opinion of mine is not a vision, but a clone trained by Sith.
I agree with Dustin 100% about the last shot with Rey and the double red sabers. I think all the shots with the lightning strikes in the background (like the 1000 star destroyers, Kylo Ren walking with his saber ignited, ect.) are all part of a vision sequence. To be honest, I haven't been really excited for this film, since the last one left such a bad taste personally, but I will watch it eventually since I am a Star Wars fan. I think I may just wait until Red Box, or wait until all of Mandalorian comes out so I can binge all this content together. Force vision is my theory on why Rey is wearing sith clothing and has that double bladed saber, (a clear nod to Darth Maul), but, it could also be Emperor Palpatine taking control, (by using his force powers), of Rey. There are many theories. The one thing I know is that there is no way Rey is a Skywalker so she is not the one who will rise. Theories are that Kylo Ren ( Ben Solo ) redeems himself in the end. Another theory is Rey is Palpatine's daughter. One theory I considered is that the whole concept of the Force is that it is supposed to be in balance between good and evil, but is the force really good or evil? Those are really just concepts attributed to those who use the Force and how they choose to use it. What if Rey chooses to actually be the balance and be neutral in the end not good or evil? Look at what she has been able to do so far with the Force. She seems to have a natural ability beyond Kylo's yet unlike Luke she has been able to use her anger to without even remotely pitching childish fits like Kylo or feeling the need to strangle people like Vader did and not once was there any hint she was going dark. I think the hype over all the speculation is going to fill the seats in the theaters because we just have to know how it ends.

In one of the books i think Luke purposely allows himself to turn to the dark side in order to become more powerful at the risk of not being able to return from the dark side. I forget how the story goes, maybe he does get seduced in the book. But in this movie i think Rey is doing the same thing, i think she needs to master both the light and dark in order to get all her answers she seeks. My guess is she will master both and be a complete Jedi and will defeat whatever dark side forces remain. I believe the book is called Dark Empire.

First point: I have Dustin's exact same shirt. Second point: The idea of Rey turning bad to end this trilogy is pretty intriguing. It would be so ballsy, I kind of what them to go that way just on shock value alone. Having said that, it would have to be dramatically satisfying. It would have to be done *really* well to make such a bummer ending have good "rewatch" value. (And if they *are* going that way, that would make two trilogies in a row in which the main Skywalker turned bad at the end. And I know everyone has different opinions about the prequels, but I personally felt no emotional connection to them.)

The Darth Rey shot is so obviously a misdirect it doesn't have the impact it should.
If you'd been paying attention, the entire sequel trilogy has been about Rey's journey to the dark side and Ben's journey to the light.
