HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I was in Aruba wayyyy back in 1974, I believe there were only a few big hotels there at the time! We stayed at the Holiday Inn, which was a lovely hotel, I was a Junior in high school so having new-found freedom on such a beautiful island was wonderful! (my parents left me, the classmate I brought along, and my younger sister to hang around on the beach all day! There were not the safety issues as much as there are now...very sad)@@JapanTravelVlogs
