(#2) [Honolulu County, HI] TheBus 2014 New Flyer XDE60

It’s one of the four hybrid long buses that you all know and probably love. Since there’s little to no Kalihi artics running on the P.M. express routes during the summer, I have this on the Kalanianaole highway, a substitute that’s going to be worn out soon due to the few bus videos that I have this on.

That doesn't really happen on a regular basis. Sometimes these Kalihi buses might sneak onto Pearl City-operated routes and vice-versa.

Yes sir, but eventually, they'll sneak onto some Pearl City-operated routes and the weekday express routes. I did see one on a P.M. express route a long time ago.
Got any ideas on when the new 40' and 60' buses come in?

All I have comes from the cover article in the Summer 2016 Express (the OTS newsletter). In it, Roger Morton (head of OTS) mentions, "On the capital side, we will continue to receive new buses this year to keep our bus and Handi-Van fleets in a state of good repair."
