I found out that some of the XD60 busses has the LED destination sign on the left side of the of the bus, so far I've only seen it on bus 188 and 189 along with bus 801 (gillig Phantom) either new or renovated. also we have some new 900 series busses about to be dilivered to us.
+Jamerrow Adao Yes, buses 801 and 802 have the sign on the left side since they were renovated by both Gillig and Complete Coach Works. I'm curious about the 900-series buses. What are they going to be?
+AuditorMSP From what I know, it might be Gillig Advantages... Honestly I was hoping for the low floor BRT, Nova busses or New Flyers (like the the current 900 series)
+Jamerrow Adao I do like to see Oahu Transit Services buying some LFS buses from Novabus and some 40' Xcelsior buses from NewFlyer just for the sake of variety. With the new order for the 600-series Advantages that will put the Phantoms from 1995-1997 into retirement, I'm not feeling too swell about OTS having around 165 modern Low-Floors.
+AuditorMSP we still could use our phantoms, but it should at least be renovated, high floor busses are good just in case of flooding so no water would enter the bus and cause people to slip and fall. But, like what you said, we should at least have more Nova buses or new flyers
There's new 880s. #880 - #885. One (1) of them has a Blue L. E. D lighting. #84 , #87, #93, #94, #96, #97, and #99 will be running. #80 - #83 , #85 , #86, #88 - #92, #95, #98 will be retired. #770 - #779 will be running. #770 - #774 Kalihi. #775 - #779 Pearl City. #770 - #774 will have seats like #230 - #297 and will be Yellow Color. #775 - #779 will be Rainbow Color and have Red Seats.

I thought that there would be only 185-192 due to news reports that there would be twelve total XDE60/XD60 buses.
+NobHillBorn The order for the XDE60 units requested by Oahu Transit Services was revised after news of this were made.
+AuditorMSP , OK, how many XDE60s and How many XD60s?
+Dexter Wong Read the description.
+AuditorMSP , I have discovered that there are 20 XD60s, 185-194 and 870-879 and 4 XDE60s, 181-184.
When I road one of these new buses to downtown, it was quieter inside than the other double buses I rode on.
I hope these XDE60s that owned by the Kalihi Division will go on route C in the second (2nd) week in October on Monday or Tuesday.
I have discovered that there are more Bae hybrids like 950-958, namely 959, 962 and 964. I saw them all on Dec. 1 on the 13 line (Waikiki-Liliha).

There's also new 966s. They're owned by Pearl City. Some of the 1995 Gillig Phantom 40' the are running. The 790s.
Interesting, I'll keep an eye out for them but I don't think I have time to go out to Pearl City.
Okay! #770 - #779 will be running in July or August.
