The lion turtle was hidden through out the show. First time we see one in episode 2 in the intro aang hit the statue of a lion turtle. In episode the the library aang is seen sitting down looking at a sheet of paper and says look at these lion turtles. We see statues in soka's master episode and he says soka has a heart like a lion turtle.
The story about Koh stealing Avatar Kuruks wife's face was talked about when Koh first met Aang. Koh even showed her face to Aang. It's crazy how they brought that back.
Avatar Yangchen’s wisdom was the most interesting. Her advice was that if you bind yourself to one set of beliefs, you can be defeated by someone willing to step outside them. Yangchen believes that killing is wrong, but is still counseling Aang to end Ozai’s life because of the greater damage he will do to the world. As opposed to the small personal damage Aang will do to himself by ending his life.
I love the range of emotions Brynn goes through in this episode, from bittersweet tears after zuko and iron reunite to being creeped out by the lion turtle and to top it off a laughing fit whilst roasting siobhan (not sure if that’s spelled correctly, soz if not) This can be explained by either Brynn needing a proper sleep or yet another great episode of ATLA Love the reactions, sending good vibes from UK
I always got amazed for who close you are, is so funny see when something come to your minds at the same time. By the way.. it was so funny that you just laughed trough the emotional part of the episode.

It’s funny that Brynn immediately said “wake him up” about Iroh when he was sleeping, because Zuko’s choice to wait is in direct contrast to the very first episode, when he spots the avatar and shouts “wake my uncle!” Just another subtle detail showing his growth as a person.
Let’s go now pleeeaaaasssseee release the last 2 episodes together lol this episode is so underrated in my opinion it sets up a perfect finale for the show and how big it’s gonna be because we have been waiting for this moment the whole time
I'm not entirely sure what was happening the whole time but this vid was hilarious haha. The next two episodes are some of the best TV ever made. Looking forward to seeing you watch the epic conclusion.
