4K shouldn't bring shows over. They screwed One Piece over. If people die in a show, don't bring it over. It's not a Saturday morning cartoon. If you have to censor a show at all, don't bring it over. Also, Dinosaur King felt like Pokemon in a way. The evil group of three people that aren't the real villains. Maybe that's just a troupe but Pokemon is probably the most famous example of it.
Abby of the12 Beasts As well as considering Dinosaur King one of the best work that 4kids did, I also consider the 2003 Ninja Turtles to be one of the best
I don't know what to say about their talents. I watched a Pokemon video and I basically said that 4K wasn't a good dubbing company. I found them to be lower compared to companies like Viz or Funimation. Someone told me that some of the 4K voice actors have worked on bigger series. That was surprising. If it's not the voice actors, it's the direction. 4K seemed to use the same voice actors for their shows. Just like the company that dubs Cardfight Vanguard and Buddyfight. It's the same voice actors, just switching roles. One day someone is playing a side character and in the next series, they're playing the main character. Or someone is playing multiple characters and using the same voice or one very similar. It's bad. I love Pokemon but I think the Pokemon company is doing a better job dubbing it. Ash's original voice didn't sound realistic to me. For some reason, the original music was changed by 4K and is changed by the Pokemon company. Yu-Gi-Oh is another. Yu-Gi-Oh is a dark show at points. It has no place on 4K. Yet, they're still dubbing it. Konami did something when 4K went down. Arc V sounds just like a 4K production. It sucks because I'd love to watch Yu-Gi-Oh but only if it's in English. I've seen Dinosaur King but I can't really speak on the voice acting. I just know I didn't really like the show. It got better once the more serious villain was around.
Sirmel11 Disagree on Pokemon. Veronica Taylor embodied the character well along with the rest of the cast imo. It seeemed like they actually scared while TPCi doesn't seem to care about the anime that much tbh. 4kids did a great job on Pokémon even when they were screw up other shows imo.
Connor Terrell For the Pokemon dub, I like both of the dubbing companies, but I think I prefer TPCI, because I grew up with the Diamond and Pearl anime. It doesn't mean I don't like the 4kids dub,vas I think they did good as well
Thanks for the video. I hope they will release the old version of dinosaurking and mushiking again. Even for official pc version. I will buy and play them no matter what. They are our best childhood.
the company sunrise was bought out in the late 80s by bandai for the mobile suit gundam license to make gundam plastic model kits or gunpla. The anime technically ended on august 31st 2008. the show had ended and at that point they were airing reruns of the show. The show ran for 79 episode. Think when you researched the show you completely skipped the top layer of digging and strait for the bottom. Otherwise good research.
Yoshiedude based on my knowledge of what Sunrise was doing at the time. I can only think of 2 reasons why the Anime stopped. 1. Most anime only get 12-24 episodes so it is possible that Dinosaur King was quite successful it’s just unlike in America Japanese Anime companies don’t milk shows dry(Yu Gi Oh!, Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z, Naruto and One Piece are rare exceptions there are literally thousands of anime with 90% getting 12-24 episodes) 2. At the time Dinosaur Kings production stopped Sunrise was working on the Gundam 00 movie which may have needed the Dinosaur King animators.(Anime movies have much higher animation quality than the Anime shows so more animators are needed)
What Happened to Blue Dragon (or was it Shadow Dragon, you know the show that had like 3 episodes that was aired in the U.S. and it was all about shadows fighting each other or something)
Rom Kin 3 episodes???? Huh ummm dude they had like at least 20 episode s in English in the U.S. i saw them when they first aired i forgot where but i found alot more epiisodes in english dub on kissanime so go watch them
Over here in the UK the whole of the Blue Dragon anime is available on DVD (think it was published by MVM). The anime was based off a videogame of the same name available for 360 and PS3. The plots were similar but the anime changed some events. The game and anime failed despite a big build-up (in my opinion) because the English dub had 2 of the main characters with annoying voices. This I think put a lot of people off. It stopped me playing the game.
Suprizingly it's still around but it is only for its arcade game, there's still a huge community still collecting and trading them! (Me inculded) we even have a discord for anyone who loves the arcade or do in general
I also am wondering why the second season of dinosaur king, never was published in Europe. At least in Germany, idk about England since there already was a English dubbed version
Me and my have some dvd's and it have czech dabing (we are from czech republic) but it was only for dvd's so i think it was produced by someone in Europe too😕
Yeah, I think so. In Czech republic it was probably published on Disney channel or Jettix because I think there was some decision for that they will sell some smaller license for some publisher that dubbed all episodes of 2 seasons. Interesting is that these dvd's have german, czech and englished dabbing that proves your theory about license for german channels.
Great video. Dinosaur King is one of our best childhood! I still remember the times we play them in the amusement arcade. Hope SEGA will bring Dinosaur King back!
This was very popular in my home town. We watched the anime, bought all the toys and played the arcade game. My friend even had the DS game but the rest of us didn't. It was a huge deal and with the amount our parents spent on all of it I'm surprised they cancelled it lol
I remember going to the public library when I was super young and finding the dvd collections of dinosaur king episodes. It made me want to be a paleontologist but now I’ve let go of that dream. I’m watching it on Netflix now because of pure nostalgia.
This show made me love dinosaurs so hard. But it stopped after like 2 seasons and i was sad. I tried finding games on it and found a "find the difference" game on dinosaur king which is weird but i only found that. I think i also found a dino fighting game which looked like it but not sure if it was the one.
I remember that show it was really good I was thinking about getting like a velociraptor if I ever was in it. One of my favorite sub genres is time travel so it was pretty cool
Great show (even tho it’s anime), the dinosaurs design was stunning. So nostalgic this was my childhood and I loved it, shame they didn’t make more seasons.
Nice video very much enjoyed. Even when Sega was supporting the arcade game they was always really slow at bringing the latest card editions to the West. We got stuck with one edition for 3-4 years (didn’t help that that edition was even named after the year it first came out). It’s also a real shame that they just forgot about it because Japan seemed to have one last series of cards that we will probably never get.
I can tell by the lack of fanart and NSFW stuff. I mean there are 393 results for Dinosaur King rule 34 and there is not a signal image of anybody fornicating with a dinosaur.
Intensify the nostalgia dangit! Heh, thing is, I really like the random concept of Dinosaurs/Prehistoric Animals with super powers. Another franchise that I love with the similar concept (and has sadly fallen into weird limbo pit) is Fossil Fighters. Really, not to shoot at DK, FF be what happens when you press upgrade: more dinosaurs, got 'playable' marine reptiles, ancient mamals, pterosaurs, ancient fish, and the occasional Robot, Alien Dinos, Planet-eating brains, skeleton, zombie, zombie-god, super forms and elemental chickens. All that with a refined gameplay that isn't based on R-P-S, pure rpg with a magic meter. I dunno, maybe its the artstyle the game had for the first two entries.
I really hope for a reboot of this, But in this reboot there are some differences the Dkids/D team (Ryuta/Max taylor, Gabu/Chomp and Rex and Ace are still in the team) Amy is a main character(One of Max's best friends, her personality is different from the original, she is an intelligent, and mature when it came talking with Max, in fact she is the only one time character in the original series to be adapted as a main character in the reboot), and her dinosaur is an edmontosaurus named Edmon and also New main characters such as Yuji (a goofball, a younger brother of Daniel Anderson (from Yo-kai watch in fact like Lucas and Dorothy, Daniel Anderson appears outside the Yokai Watch games and anime) and one of Max's best friends) and his dinosaur a brachiosaurus named Brach, Miki(a hot chick who was revolve around her phone, and one of Max's best friends) and her dinosaur a Corythosaurus named Colin and Satoru(a punk kid, one of Max's best friends, he is a son of Japanese tea brewery, who is very strict and traditional, he puts on a tough guy facade, but is actually a coward when it came to Geishas) and his dinosaur a troodon named Skrapz And the Akutodan/Alpha gang (Dr Z/Dr. Sonoida, Tirano/Terry, Edo/Ed, Spino/Spiny, Roto and Loa/Laura and Saiko/Tank are still in the gang, but Ursula and Zander didn't appear) The Alpha trio well quartet includes Uruyji is the co leader Tirano's owner(Ryuta Kodai's Main rival) Edo is less plump and as the same age as max and he is the buddy of Uruyji. And there are also Alpha minions to cooperate with the alpha droids to reflect that the group includes female members as well, and their dinosaurs sometimes used are Xenotarsosaurus, Altrinus, Dilophosaurus and kentrosaurus. Dr Z/Dr. Sonoida who is the leader of the alpha gang is less zany, and more of a serious character, and he is the main antagonist of the anime There are also other villains that wanted to destroy the d team. There is Maki Monoma(who is Amy's new friend, but is actually the supervillain Shemage/Hypno Shroom after betraying her), Yukari(leader of a heavily armed biker gang), Urango(who is not a poacher in the reboot, but just an intern of the alpha gang), Electric man (a supervillain that can shoot out electricity and cause mayhem and destruction), Pierre (a ninja theif who has the ability to be sneaky), Owl man(an owl themed superhero who set up scenarios in order to make himself popular, and now disgraced by the end of his debut episode), Stormy Weather(a supervillain who control the weather, she was once a weather reporter, but got fired for making the weather up) mr. Buzz (a supervillain who can control bugs), Polar frost(one of the three bounty hunters hired by Dr z to hunt down the d team and steal their dinosaurs), Pancho(one of the three bounty hunters hired by Dr z to hunt down the d team and steal their dinosaurs, in the original anime Pancho often travels with Dr. Owen(who is absent in this reboot) wherever he goes and has experience in lassoing. Whilst in the reboot, Pancho is more of an antagonist. Which would make him the first dinosaur king, Sunrise, and Sega character to be adapted into a villain) and Goma (unlike his game counterpart, he does not work for the space pirates, he is one of the three bounty hunters hired by Dr z to hunt down the d team and steal their dinosaurs, but in a later episode he redeemed himself by betraying the Alpha gang and giving Max the Pachycephalosaurus card to summon it to defeat the Alpha gang, in fact he's the first dinosaur king character to be adapted as a adversary at first but later Good guy). But don't worry you'll get to see Spike Taylor, Aki Taylor and Reese Drake in the reboot, while Rex's parents(Dr. Ancient and Dr. Cretacia) were seen in flashbacks, (while Zoe/Tatsuno Malm and Parapara/Paris and Seth/Nopis will appear in later episodes) Mainly the first season involves them and the dinosaurs that rampage on Japan. And the biggest difference is that the dinosaurs can speak, but only when they're with or without their human companions(D team and Alpha gang).
I'd love to see something set in the same universe though, explore more dinosaur species maybe even as a 'documentary' while not ruining the ending we had
All that's left would be Redakai and Monsuno. At least in my opinion and from my memory due to the fact they had products available, but didn't sell too well. Along with their television series seemed to go off the network. I haven't paid too much attention to either, but some things I learned was that Redakai was on cartoon network for a while and Monsuno (if this is incorrect and I haven't searched it much) was on Nikelodeon for quite sometime. Other than that, its probably a reason bit I digress. I loved this series and its well informative to why they shut down.
Dinosaur King is actually airing on TV still on a channel called Primo TV they air it at midnight every night and oddly says it's rated TV 14. They have just been airing the 2 seasons over and over again. It's what got me back into the series the channel has some odd shows but what i find interesting is they have some animes asides from Dinosaur King like this old one called You're under arrest the channel just showed up one day and i found it when i saw Dinosaur King on demand, Really the Animes is the only thing they have that interest me since asides from one anime i saw on the channel they only show old ones so it be cool to see other old animes make a come back.
Man this show was part of my childhood, mainly because of my extreme love for dinosaurs. I also remember in the show there was this pink haired twintailed girl, i didn't knew the word at the time but i'm pretty sure she was my first waifu.
Can you do a What happened to Magical Doremi please ? I loved this show and i unfortunately lost track of it when they stopped airing it. Thanks in advance.
Not the most popular series, but would probably be really interesting. Doremi got over 200 episodes and a lot of the prominent staff like Mamoru Hosoda went on to massive success with films like Summer Wars and Wolf Children.
After a little bit of digging I found that the most recent content the series has received was a few more volumes added to its light novel series between 2011 to 2015 bringing the total number of light novels to 19. It had a 13 episode O.V.A. series after it's 4 anime series each with around 50 episode runs. In total if we add in the OVAs there are 213 episodes plus 2 thirty minute films.
The show seemed to take off everywhere it aired except the US, as we didn’t get anything past season 1. My guess would be because the show didn’t have a TCG or toys beyond the dozen or so magic wands and dream spinners (which have no gimmicks), it wouldn’t make sense to push it or really any magical girl anime.
Fun fact the theme song was sung by David Rolfe. The guy who did the guitar for the first Pokémon theme song, and was the lead vocalist from the fourth to the eighth Pokémon theme.
When this was around I would come home from school and watch it. I also had one of the toys and many dvds, my friend also has the tcg. It was very popular here in the UK but the demographic that typically watched it were us 5 year olds. A couple of years down the line and most 5 year olds would be playing video games and the people who onced liked it were now too old. Hope this helps Your fan Johnny
I have a phobia of these things. When things get lost in time and forgotten about. I loved Dinosaur King when I was a kid but if it wasnt on Netflix it would probably be forgotten about even by me.
Head Admin of the Dinosaur King Wiki mentioned in the video here, and I'm glad to hear that other people on the internet know about and enjoyed it as much as I did. Of course it's a Pokémon clone, but it has real dinosaurs in it, and that makes it worthwhile. I've all but memorized every episode and have most of the trading cards, but never knew about the arcade machines when they still existed (though the English arcade voices are…embarrassing at times). Fear not, we few at the Wiki are still working on full arcade documentation.
Dinosaur King was the first anime I watched... It aired on the CW channel which was the only non-pbs channel my cable plan had. I watched it when I was 7-8 (2009 roughly) and had no idea it was Japanese or what anime even was. Still holds a place in my heart and my parents still drop the odd reference from time to time- my dad's favorite character was the angry maid who would serve one seed as a dinner meal

Sirmel11 That's kind of an ironic comment on a video about Dinosaur King, since it's considered to be 4kids' best work.
1. Most anime only get 12-24 episodes so it is possible that Dinosaur King was quite successful it’s just unlike in America Japanese Anime companies don’t milk shows dry(Yu Gi Oh!, Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z, Naruto and One Piece are rare exceptions there are literally thousands of anime with 90% getting 12-24 episodes)
2. At the time Dinosaur Kings production stopped Sunrise was working on the Gundam 00 movie which may have needed the Dinosaur King animators.(Anime movies have much higher animation quality than the Anime shows so more animators are needed)
6:07 I'm literally crying
Insert Extinct Joke here
What Happened to Blue Dragon (or was it Shadow Dragon, you know the show that had like 3 episodes that was aired in the U.S. and it was all about shadows fighting each other or something)
You got it right it was blue dragon.
Rom Kin 3 episodes???? Huh ummm dude they had like at least 20 episode s in English in the U.S. i saw them when they first aired i forgot where but i found alot more epiisodes in english dub on kissanime so go watch them
They showed like 3 episodes or so on Toonami during the time when it started being filled with animated movies. Then it ended or something.
I swear they dubbed the whole first season. Anyways it got a second season in Japan, and was pretty good.
It stopped me playing the game.
not one mention of how the alpha gang chick had the same voice actress as Jessie from pokemon
cosmoist i use to always call her jessie even tho thats not her name
Who? The old lady?
@@hessien69 shhhh. she can here you lol
@@forrestannis909 why call her an old lady? She's clearly much older
Oh really? How much older?
I wish that I could live in a universe where Dinosaur King was more popular and had more episodes and games
I watched some of this show recently to relive childhood nostalgia. I still love every scene with the team Rocket knockoff characters.
The nostalgia... AHHHHHHHHH
Suprizingly it's still around but it is only for its arcade game, there's still a huge community still collecting and trading them! (Me inculded) we even have a discord for anyone who loves the arcade or do in general
Minefan48 wow really i thought the love for it died
Couch gaming news nope!
I have the game in DS, while it is not the cabinet, it's still pretty fun
Neat. A Dinosaur King Discord Server. Who would’ve known. I remember the anime as a kid and I do own the DS Game.
Hey, do you guys have any info about the whereabouts of any Dinosaur King arcade machine here in the Philippines?
I absolutely loved this show as a kid. So much nostalgia
I grow up with dinosaur king and I was so sad when it ended
I also am wondering why the second season of dinosaur king, never was published in Europe. At least in Germany, idk about England since there already was a English dubbed version
FireKnightHD I wish Mushi King got a anime localized for Germany 😏
Me and my have some dvd's and it have czech dabing (we are from czech republic) but it was only for dvd's so i think it was produced by someone in Europe too😕
Adam Křivánek if I remember correctly it ran on channel RTL 2 in Germany on Saturday mornings
Adam Křivánek it had the Jettix logo on top when it was shown so i can confirm
You forgot to mention that the anime can still be watched on Netflix
I just finished it! I give it a 6/10 pls watch it!
@@redhattoons9357 ive already seen it
is still on netflix?
@@tflees just the 1st season. Season 2 you'll have to find elsewhere
Great video. Dinosaur King is one of our best childhood! I still remember the times we play them in the amusement arcade. Hope SEGA will bring Dinosaur King back!
Nah man
I remember playing the Dinosaur King DS game and watching the show on TV.
Weird how well I remember that after all this time.
Dinosaur King vs Pokemon
-Cool Dinos - Boring Pikachus
- cool Villains -Dumb Villains
- Cool strategy - ,,use insta kill"
- Seth/Max - ,,whatever"
Was legit dropping tears when i heard there were no dinosaur king season 3 it was my childhood i used to live and breath dinosaur content
Contrary to popular Belief Dinosaur King actually isn't a ripoff of pokemon or yu gi oh, and is a decent series
...I'm not the only one who remembers this show...
Genuine question, were there any official Dinosaur King Crossovers?
The show needs more attention, and I wish it would become a franchise.
Dinosaur King was the best show ever change my mind
You thinking like me... And I haven't changed my mind over the years... And I'm now 20 years old... ALWAYS Number 1
I love that show so nostalgic
Other kids waiting for gta 6😠
Me waiting for dino king season 3💀
This was very popular in my home town. We watched the anime, bought all the toys and played the arcade game. My friend even had the DS game but the rest of us didn't. It was a huge deal and with the amount our parents spent on all of it I'm surprised they cancelled it lol
Was it really? Wow, I never thought I'd hear about this.
That show was like watching pokemon all over again. ❤
I bought all the cards and watched all the episodes about 5 times. I also now permanently have the theme song stuck in my head
I remember that show it was really good I was thinking about getting like a velociraptor if I ever was in it. One of my favorite sub genres is time travel so it was pretty cool
P.S. spoilers Rex Owen is a time traveler and that's where all the dinosaurs came from. it's kind of obvious if you think about it
Dinosaur king was my first anime
Great show (even tho it’s anime), the dinosaurs design was stunning. So nostalgic this was my childhood and I loved it, shame they didn’t make more seasons.
I just finished the show, it was soo fun, but oh my god that cliffhanger of the last episode haha
I love that show! Spiny's my faveret, aside from Terry and Tank. Oh thank you for making this!
Ursula is my main!!! I always loved when she could hear someone saying “old lady” from miles away.
I used to see a few of these around in the UK but now I don't see them anymore
Don’t even ask me how much I love this show
Same
Awww i miss this franchise so much, the anime and the ds game just made my childhood. Thanks for covering it and bringing back the memories.
While Dinosaur King was popular during its time, it never made a large cultural impact like Pokemon, Digimon, or Yu Gi Oh.
I can tell by the lack of fanart and NSFW stuff.
I mean there are 393 results for Dinosaur King rule 34 and there is not a signal image of anybody fornicating with a dinosaur.
Dinosaur king was the first anime show I’ve ever saw & I loved it!
Same . It was awesome and I loved and I actually made fan fictions imy mind.
This show was my childhood and the reason I have a huge live for dinosaur
If it wasn’t for dinosaur king I wouldn’t have gotten into dinosaurs or anime
I really hope for a reboot of this, But in this reboot there are some differences
the Dkids/D team (Ryuta/Max taylor, Gabu/Chomp and Rex and Ace are still in the team) Amy is a main character(One of Max's best friends, her personality is different from the original, she is an intelligent, and mature when it came talking with Max, in fact she is the only one time character in the original series to be adapted as a main character in the reboot), and her dinosaur is an edmontosaurus named Edmon and also New main characters such as Yuji (a goofball, a younger brother of Daniel Anderson (from Yo-kai watch in fact like Lucas and Dorothy, Daniel Anderson appears outside the Yokai Watch games and anime) and one of Max's best friends) and his dinosaur a brachiosaurus named Brach, Miki(a hot chick who was revolve around her phone, and one of Max's best friends) and her dinosaur a Corythosaurus named Colin and Satoru(a punk kid, one of Max's best friends, he is a son of Japanese tea brewery, who is very strict and traditional, he puts on a tough guy facade, but is actually a coward when it came to Geishas) and his dinosaur a troodon named Skrapz
And the Akutodan/Alpha gang (Dr Z/Dr. Sonoida, Tirano/Terry, Edo/Ed, Spino/Spiny, Roto and Loa/Laura and Saiko/Tank are still in the gang, but Ursula and Zander didn't appear)
The Alpha trio well quartet includes Uruyji is the co leader Tirano's owner(Ryuta Kodai's Main rival)
Edo is less plump and as the same age as max and he is the buddy of Uruyji. And there are also Alpha minions to cooperate with the alpha droids to reflect that the group includes female members as well, and their dinosaurs sometimes used are Xenotarsosaurus, Altrinus, Dilophosaurus and kentrosaurus.
Dr Z/Dr. Sonoida who is the leader of the alpha gang is less zany, and more of a serious character, and he is the main antagonist of the anime
There are also other villains that wanted to destroy the d team.
Cretacia) were seen in flashbacks, (while Zoe/Tatsuno Malm and Parapara/Paris and Seth/Nopis will appear in later episodes)
Mainly the first season involves them and the dinosaurs that rampage on Japan.
And the biggest difference is that the dinosaurs can speak, but only when they're with or without their human companions(D team and Alpha gang).
@@Ben-kd7ug this is gonna take me a while to read and even longer to process
I think how dinosaur king ended is the perfect end. Making more seasons would just ruin what we have.
I'd love to see something set in the same universe though, explore more dinosaur species maybe even as a 'documentary' while not ruining the ending we had
Oh man, i LOVED this show, I thought it was the best anime i've ever seen when i saw it on netflix
Ahhh, dude I loved this show.
My brother and I used to wake up every Saturday morning to watch this, Sonic X, Go Go Riki and, TMNT!
Goood memories.
I love Sonic X as well it was part of my good ol times during my childhood days.
It's what got me back into the series the channel has some odd shows but what i find interesting is they have some animes asides from Dinosaur King like this old one called You're under arrest the channel just showed up one day and i found it when i saw Dinosaur King on demand,
Really the Animes is the only thing they have that interest me since asides from one anime i saw on the channel they only show old ones so it be cool to see other old animes make a come back.
I worshipped this show as a little kid. I'm so annoyed it just stopped
That show was an inspiration for me to become an archeologist
I remember vaguely playing this game in an arcade. I'll remember it every so often, thank you for bringing me down memory lane!
one of my favorite shows when I was young
AhMaJambe! I could be wrong, but I think DoReMi ended in japan
I used to watch dinosaur King ALL THE TIME when I was younger! I just remembered it!
I absolutely loved this anime! I actually still have some of the trading cards to this day.
He show is in Netflix guys! I recently watched it and omg it's great I have no idea why it was stopped also the games are great too!
As time goes on I wish we can get a reboot of this show and show off feathered dinos. That would be awesome
It’s a great underrated show, I really wished they made more seasons..
Great review (love Dinosaur King), also thanks for clearing up the MMBN 4.5, now people could potentially use their favorite Navis.
*Humbly handled.*
Fun fact the theme song was sung by David Rolfe. The guy who did the guitar for the first Pokémon theme song, and was the lead vocalist from the fourth to the eighth Pokémon theme.
severely underrated channel
This show was one of my favourites growing up. It was strange when it suddenly stopped but at least I still have a lot of the Arcade cards still.
It was a good show back when it was on.
Season 1 was 😍 Season 2 😟🤢
Dinosours king was a great show growing up and the intro was very catchy :3
I actually named my favorite stuffed animal Chomp because of the show
This was 4kids’ last anime that they dubbed before they went out of business?
Do a what happend to spiderrider or staticshock love the video mate
When this was around I would come home from school and watch it. I also had one of the toys and many dvds, my friend also has the tcg. It was very popular here in the UK but the demographic that typically watched it were us 5 year olds. A couple of years down the line and most 5 year olds would be playing video games and the people who onced liked it were now too old.
Hope this helps
Your fan
Johnny
I have a phobia of these things. When things get lost in time and forgotten about.
I loved Dinosaur King when I was a kid but if it wasnt on Netflix it would probably be forgotten about even by me.
I guess you can say Dinosaur King...
When extinct ;)
Head Admin of the Dinosaur King Wiki mentioned in the video here, and I'm glad to hear that other people on the internet know about and enjoyed it as much as I did. Of course it's a Pokémon clone, but it has real dinosaurs in it, and that makes it worthwhile. I've all but memorized every episode and have most of the trading cards, but never knew about the arcade machines when they still existed (though the English arcade voices are…embarrassing at times). Fear not, we few at the Wiki are still working on full arcade documentation.
I remember watching this
Show on 4kids
Dinosaur King was the first anime I watched... It aired on the CW channel which was the only non-pbs channel my cable plan had. I watched it when I was 7-8 (2009 roughly) and had no idea it was Japanese or what anime even was. Still holds a place in my heart and my parents still drop the odd reference from time to time- my dad's favorite character was the angry maid who would serve one seed as a dinner meal
