@@JedhaPatrol Can you also start showing how close their arms can get to their torso? Sometimes the figures can’t stand at attention.
Loved the vid Ryan, mine also loses his forearm relatively easy when posing!

Don't know if you noticed, but it looks like the silver antennae on the left side of the helmet got broken off sometime during your posing.
This figure is perfection. The first foray for Hot Toys crafting Clones is a big success to me. Loved the video! I haven’t even posed mine yet but sat and watched yours. 😂
So Awesome. Looks like a beautiful piece. I wish they had included the Phase 1 helmet as well Just got 1 payment left and then I can add him to my collection. Hot Toys has to get on Gree, Bly, Wolffe, Fox, etc.
I was resigned to boxing up my Sideshow Cody to make room for the Hot Toys version. But, hell, I'll have a Phase One Cody on the shelf too.

Great review. I agree. It is insanely hard to fit the blaster in the grip. I was really scared that I was going to mess up the paint job. Otherwise it’s a good looking trooper. Very balanced.

My Sideshow will stay with PII helmet on...taking the "Order 66" call....the HT will have Morrison HS on to give Obi Wan his light saber.
Cody doesn’t actually have holsters for the blaster pistols in the clone wars, rots, or on the black series figure. I think the phase 1 helmet would be cool, but it would be inaccurate. Cody’s phase 1 armor is actually very different than his phase 2. Still, sideshow did it so I guess it was really up to hot toys. I can see why they didn’t.

Can you put the sideshow phase 1 helmet on the hot toys body? And can you put the hot toys head sculpt on the sideshow body?
Yes I was wondering the same thing. Can that be done? Switch helmets out or shoes. Def like the phase 1 helmet better.
@@shanedisspain416 yea honestly I think the body on both look fine, except for the joints being loose on the sideshow one. But I was thinking about maybe just buying a hot toys Cody head for my sideshow Cody because it looks amazing.

Helmet antenna broke already too??? Mine did the first day I got it, I glued it and emailed sideshow, they’ll send a replacement

Phase 2 helmets look so much better then the 1 helmets, I use to own all the full size helmets from MR. You just reminded me though, we need a Gree! And for sure we need a fing ARC trooper!!!!
If the holsters aren’t actuate then hot toys aren’t gonna put them on, your know the deal lol
Just got it today. Amazing figure. But if you still own the original, you not missing much besides the upgraded headsculpt.
Sideshow helmet looks to have more saturation in the colors. Wish it came with the phase 1 helmet.
Another great review man, I love this figure and super happy to own it. Gotta say though I’d love to see you make videos focused on poses for new and older figures just to have some ideas for myself and others to do for our collections. Again great vid
Great vid as always! That 1st pose has me looking for Geonosis Battle Droid 2 pack on the interwebz. No luck yet!
The neck sleeve on mine is way too short. Cuts off about half way down the neck so trying to find a way to extend it. First I thought it was folded in but after much messing around and frustration it wasn't folded and is just short. Any thoughts on how to stretch it up and over? Thanks a lot :)
One day I'm going to count up the vast amount of figs that have come with that damn base. Seriously, give it a rest HT.

You do know that Hot Toys developed the SS clone body, right? It’s a good body. Just SSs crappy production ruined it.

Damnit. You broke the antenna peak already that points to the helmet. Very nice detail from my opinion. Hope this never happen to mine. About the gaps at the upper armoury you're talking about. You can shift the shoulder plates over the upper body armoury like it has to be to protect the wearer (check references). Thanks for the video. I really enjoy this figure. Cheers

Hi. I'm a new subscriber. I love watching your videos. Can you please help clarify something for me. When you say Sideshow figure does it come in the same Hot Toys brown shipper as Hot Toys Hong Kong with the same product code (for example TMS078)? I always thought that Sideshow is just a distributor of Hot Toys figures made in Hong Kong. I recently found out online and now in your video about the difference between HT and Sideshow figures. How can I spot the difference between the two in terms of packaging? I want to make sure I'm buying the same high quality Hot Toys figures that I see in your and other collectors' videos. I recently bought a Heavy Mando TMS010 on ebay for $250 which is cheaper than most listings. The brown shipper is factory sealed. The shipping label shows that it was shipped by Sideshow to the seller. Did I buy a Sideshow version or Hot Toys HK? How can I tell? Hope you can help. Thanks.

I got my Cody over the weekend and it’s awesome. Then I got a email saying my death trooper is coming in but they sent me another Cody on accident. I sent sideshow an email but I’m hoping they just send me the death trooper so I can have 2 cody’s lol.

The Sideshow Cody looks a little stocky and it has almost no neck. I like it a lot but always feel like I need to pull the head up a little to make it look less no-neck. The Sideshow Commander Gree is much better than the Sideshow Cody. Limbs are not as loose and armor fits tighter. Neither can compare with Hot Toys Cody obviously; a Hot Toys Gree would look ... just wow.
How feasable is using the SS hands on the HT Cody?

I feel like a dork for still not picking up cody, even after seeing everybody get this guy in Facebook and Reddit and all,but that's what happens when you have a load of payment plans
Great poses. I'd love to see more! Especially Qui-Gon vs Maul and Padawan Obi-Wan if you have him. These are giving me some great ideas. I agree about the arm. And I really think Sideshow has one up'd on Hot Toys when it comes to the hands. Hot Toys pegs can be a pain in the ass to get off and brake easy. While the Sideshow ones the pegs are all attached making it easier to change up the hands with much less breakage to worry about. The right arm is a little bit of a pain but pretty easy to fix and poses well. I agree about the trigger hand it's a pain in the ass to get the guns into. Over all awesome figure and definitely blows away Sideshows. I want more Clones now! Especially an Attack of the Clones Phase 1 weather up white trooper. An Hot Toys does have some battle driods coming I wish it'd go up for pre-order already!

I'm confused do you have inside friends at Hot Toys? I wrote them so many letters asking when certain figures are coming out and giving him a list a figures that they should make most of them were prequel trilogy figures like General Grievous Revenge of the Sith Darth Vader in his costume attack of the Clones clone trooper magma guards in a few more

My Cody looks different in terms of colours mine looks more dirty and yellowed and it came right out of the box like that is that just due to light or are all of them different
3 months later but still Jedah probably uses some filters or what not or it might just be the 4k making the colours pop differently on camera. Hope you are enjoying your figure.

would’t be screen accurate if Hot Toys made a phase 1 helmet. body armor is different but tbh I wouldn’t give a damn I would love to see a Hot Toys phase 1 helm regardless of accuracy

Did you have issues popping the head on? Mine was struggling to get on and it never “popped” into place

Uhm i dont know if you know because you didn't mention anything, but just right at the first pose 15:40 the detachable upside down L shape antenna on the helmet is gone. :)

I ran into the same issues with his arm, it pops off very easily.
They released all the clones years ago, so your excited for a resculpt? They did bacara, wolf, loads. We need all the clone commanders.
I've owned all of the sideshow versions. Hot Toys promises to do a better job.
@@JedhaPatrol so hopefully they will follow with all the commanders from Order 66, this will be expensive for me if they do! Although I am tempted to get the clone wars anakin to put with Cody and rex and my deluxe R2 for a pose scene. But I am hoping a new Obi wan from clone wars will appear.

The light up features for these 1/6 figures are never bright enough to be worth it. How often do you want to go and turn on a dozen tiny switches on your collections so they can sorta glow a little bit? Totally not worth it

Love the figure, but that's really my only gripe too. Doesn't help that I was spoiled by all of the hand options on Sideshow's clones.
