Thanks, this helped me figure out how to make this changeover. Was tired of buying new HID ballasts, they are more expensive than a 2 pack of high quality regular bulbs...
I bought some blacked out headlights a couple months ago and just now have time to work on it. I took originals out and saw that the hid components wont work on new lamps. I was about to sell them till I saw your video. Thank you very much. I will now be able to install blacked out lamps on my prius. I also installed a light bar and super loud horns. Lol. Stay blessed.

What I needed to know to convert from HID to LED/halogen. "Restored" the lenses on my HID lights a year ago, but it didn't last. Replacing the entire headlight assemblies and converting to LED. Thank you for the informative video!

I wired it just like you but i still don't have High Beams? 2 white ground wires to the ground, orange wire and pink wire each to their own wire. The lights work but no high beam. Any ideas?

2 questions:
1) Where did you get the bulb dust covers for the back of your headlight assemblies? (my new halogen assemblies did not include new dust covers - and - I can't swap my old HID covers - they don't fit on my new assemblies).
2) What model halogen bulbs did you use - 9003 or 9006 or etc.? (I see in the video that they have 3 straight prongs - not 90^ prongs)

when we turn on High beam does Low beam goes off or both turn on ?

What headlights are these? Not the bulbs but the headlight assembly. You put new ones on and pulled off the plastic. What is the brand and name of them?

yes, in my opinion, I put led lights in them and they are great, bright and clear, they work without any problems so far, thanks for watching!

prices in toyota service are always astronomical, even in my country. I personally alway trying to avoid dealing with them.

But I'm this video you installed halogen bulbs. My question is what did you do to make them fit into the HID headlight housing.
You seem to rip something out. I don't want to install Led bulbs because of the extra steps.
I don't want HID lights because of that issues. I just sent to install regular halogen bulbs.
But you don't really explain what you are doing in the video
are you trolling right now or what 🤣 this video is the most detailed one then ever, you have not seen it from the beginig to the end I think
I'm changing HID headlight set with halogen headlight set, so now I can fit any halogen H4 socket bulb in it, and also LED buld with H4 socket, that's it, there is no other philosophy or rocket science in this video
hi my hradlights are foggy wanna replace entire housing . why are HID headlight housing for this car way more expensive than halogen housing . they look the same to me
HID technology is different from halogen, bulbs are different and lightning of course. that's why...
there are lots of videos how to clean foggy headlights, see them and clean yourself, it's easy.
@@Petruccio1881 I have done a few times but they don’t last u can even use gas to clean your headlights . All dont last
I have done polishing with 2500 wet sandpaper and after that used NuFinish polish cream

@@larryzan8942 no, without power tool, soak sandpaper and sand the surface slowly, after dry it with towel and put some NuFinish cream on a soft cloth and polish with slow motion the surface of the headlight

At just 5 seconds into the video I already think I'm watching the wrong video. Title of video: "HID headlights to halogen", but at 0:05, "Xenon to LED H4." WTF?
HID bulbs and xenon are the same thing. I changed the HID (xenon) headlights to halogen H4 ones, so now I can use regular H4 bulbs or LED H4, it's up to me now. thanks for your comment.
