Your information about the Plus subscription is wrong. I had a premium plus subscription set to renew in mid-December. I logged into the store in a browser on my computer and got the 30% off subscription for a year and it just added a year to my subscription, which now shows a renewal date of mid-December 2025. If I couldn't get it at a discount I would have moved to a lower tier.
It did NOT show that for me. I've had a Premium tier subscription, tried renewing and there was absolutely zero indication of any discount. Mine was set to expire in mid-December also. I downgraded to the Essential Tier.
I'm pulling my credit card next year. I had the option to not auto-renew subscription services and thought I would be safe. Sony removed that option or at least I can't find it anymore and auto-billed my credit card for another year. I'll give them one more year then I'm done. Dirty move on their part.
@@RKDriver I have one credit card that allows you to make an unlimited number of virtual cards tied to your main card. If you have a credit card that allows you to do that, you could create a virtual card for a subscription and then just deactivate the virtual card. The subscription provider would not be able to auto-bill you again, because they only had the virtual card number, not your physical card number.

Yes buying games are better than subscriptions bcoz you don’t fear of sony will take the game with two or 6 months and you can platinum the game whenever you want. I will buy subscription when gta online final drip feed finish before gta 6 online release.

Psvr2 with horizon was 650 euro to 400, if you are plus member you get 5% I get one for 380, also Few months ago they made a discount for new members to ps+ only and I wasn't able to renew so I cancelled, last month a made one month to get 2 monthes games and made sure it end before black friday now I get full year,
You might want to check your account again. My premium account was auto renewed - I pay with paypal and they only deducted $119.99. I did get an email that they charged the high amount but they didn't. So people should double check their accounts and paypal because on my end I didn't get charged full price on auto renew.
At this rate, owning physical for the possibility of resale is the best way to stack up games. Sony is inadvertently pushing back its base audience to the old days.
I got the PS Plus discount whilst still having a subscription. It was still on auto renewal but maybe I got the discount because my sub was coming to an end in December
I just have Plus to play on-line, I don't care about the extra games, since it just creates a massive amount of games in my backlog that I will not play in this or the other life. If I didn't need Plus for online gaming, I wouldn't buy it, and happily just play the games I care to play and buy with my good honest work.

Yes go for montly subscription outside of Black Friday bcoz when you buy higher tier subscription for one year they gave trash games most months so you will waste your money on other months. After price increases in subscriptions they didn’t offer any triple a title which are 1 year or 6 months old

Yeah I am canceling plus extra it's happened twice where a game I was playing on the service went out the service ended up buying the games afterwards. Which is not bad because I really enjoyed the games but yeah I'm sticking with essentially I don't play online games and the monthly games are hit and miss but one feature I appreciate the most is cloud saves I'd hate to lose my saves for some games 😅 if the storage fails

I only buy 1 year subscription at black friday/Christmas. Set for a year and never pay full price. They always have a deal on either the subscription or you can get discounts on PSN cards to use for the subscription. Where there's a will there's a way. I also use PS stars points to redeem as cash and buy things online and get more star points back.

Stranger Of Paradise Fire 🔥 It’s a really good game. Gameplay,the many jobs,level designs soo good. Story is also really good however the execution and delivery is not good. It’s really good when the climax of the story hits. However when you put all the cutscenes and the ending with these orbs that give you lore you come to understand the story and you realize “wow this is actually a good story” Yes visually and graphically it doesn’t look good as a 2021-2022 game. It looks like a up res PS2 game or a back wash PS3 game but overall the game is fire 🔥7.5/10 I spent like nearly 200 hours on this game.
Just get essentials. I barely have time to play now, and i get ‘free’ exclusives every mth. Just store them and ill come back and play them when i have the time. Pple complaining when they are cash strapped but pay the highest tier 😂 you reap what you sow

What Sony has just accomplished for all of their Premium subscribers is nothing short of amazing. It has been nothing short of life-changing. I was able to get the discount because my subscription ended on 11/21. So I cancelled it and it gave me the 30% discount. Not sure if this will work next year though. Premium works for me because I'll try some titles I know I'll never purchase outside of the membership like dying light 2, cult of the Lamb, Plucky squire, Remnat 2, etc. I don't need the newest games, and if I do I buy it. Probably 1-2 a year.
Black friday deals on PS+ have _never_ been good. Better than now? Maybe. But you could get a year for $25-30 any day of the week back then, which is better than any deal Sony ever ran directly.
Because of Sony's greed, I don't think I will continue with console gaming next gen. I already let my subscription lapse and staying exclusively in the PlayStation eco system will mean you have no options when the prices increase again.
Back in the ps4 days, we had more game releases and not only that but if a game launched in the 1st half of the year for $60, the black Friday sale will have it at $30. The price of physical vs digital back then didn't have that much of a difference as it does today. We could also renew ps plus for $45 and stack if we choose to regardless if you are new or an existing member. I believe having only one company in the console market will eventually make it out of appetite for new comers to the medium.
