Thanks, Elliott! Nice job with the guitar! The Sound of Music was a great musical and I remember seeing it when it first appeared in the movie theaters - what a sensation that was. I remember watching Dark Shadows on TV in the summer, when I could watch that daytime soap opera. I could also be wrong on this, but I think a film score is like a symphonic piece of music that was written especially for the movie. These were big in the early days of music (Captain Blood, The Adventures of Robin Hood, etc.) and John Williams has continued the tradition with Star Wars and other movies). Thank you for all your videos as I do enjoy them. Merry Christmas to you and your family and may 2025 be kind to you.
Hi Charlie, thanks for the explanation of a score, I was grasping at straws, Ha! And I appreciate you lying about my guitar playing! I hope your Christmas is a wonderful one and 2025 is full of good days!
I love Ingrid Bergman's facial acting. You can tell she doesn't believe him even before she speaks. I have Mark Knopfler's Local Hero soundtrack so I might have to give Cal a listen. Really great picks, except for "Singing in the Rain" actually being the greatest film musical. Great video. I hope you're enjoying your holidays.
I filmed my response yesterday. I’ll watch this because I don’t think we will show the same records. And I made up most of the questions. Casablanca, one of my favorite movies.
Hi Pat, I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with this tag. I'm getting fancy with that clip inserted into the video ain't I. Goes to show that Boomers can learn a new trick. Take care my friend.
Score, which can be included in a soundtrack, is the mood setting background music in a movie (usually orchestral) that is typically written specifically for the movie. Dark Shadows was very cool! Shaft! is awesome, can't beat it. Never heard of Shaft In Africa. I included the question about the 90's soundtrack because it was a time when not a lot of vinyl was being pressed so I thought it might be challenging for some. Sorry to have stumped you. Great choices and great answers! Thanx for playing along!
Hi Bozz, I got the whole score thing all mixed up! But it gave me an excuse to show that Cast album for The Sound of Music! This was a very enjoyable tag and I appreciate you sponsoring it! Take care and have a great weekend.
Thanks for watching. It is an enjoyable tag. It's okay if you do it and aren't able to answer all of them. I think there were two I couldn't do so I just made up my own prompt to replace them! Take care and I look forward to seeing what you might come up with.
Hi Sam, thanks for watching. It would be an interesting challenge if you were to take those 4 or 5 Soundtracks and tried to answer all the prompts with them! 😁
Who knew butter beans and corn go together. From Russia With Love is my favorite James Bond movie. Though Dr No and Goldfinger are just as good. The moment I saw Ursula Andress come out of the ocean in Dr No I realize I wasn’t gay. More accurately, I realized liked girls.
Absolutely butter beans and corn, like okra and tomatoes. I saw an almost topless lady at a Bond movie and accidently told my Mom, pre ratings era, she for some reason wasn't happy. I never told Mom about the movies I saw again.

We actually have one in common.

Hey Joe! Ingrid just mesmerizes me. I can see a strong case for Singing In The Rain. Happy Holidays!

@@doodahdavesrecords4319 thanks for watching!
That was really good. I will try to do it but I already know there’s a few I can’t answer

I might have 5 total soundtracks, they've never been my thing. Very cool collection! Way to pick those strings!

@elliottcrews4997 haha oh that would be tough
