Shane! This is 8 years too late but fight tips is GOATED. Your teaching helped me deal with A bad man that use to punk me and my mom. That experience and your support started my athletic career in boxing. I learned a lot and wouldn’t change a thing. Your passion for martial arts is for real. Thank you Shane.
Been watching you since i was 22 and now im 29 time flies so quickly man and your videos has improved my boxing quite a lot and been the state champion.
You are the guy who taught me variations of hooks like the feodore overhand that comes down at 45 degrees, and so on, when I first started boxing years ago… Thanks for the info you provide, very helpful! And great video again. Head movement is nothing without good footwork
Hi 👋 I really appreciate your content and sharing your expertise with the world. Would you consider doing a video for short people? I am a 4' 11" woman, with a short torso and short arm span. My ex is a former semi-pro MMA fighter that taught me sparring, self defense and how to fight. Years ago, he took me to a lot of his training sessions, which I am forever grateful for. With that said, I know how important it is to be able to defend yourself. Especially when turning your own stature from disadvantage to advantage. Every man or woman, on a smaller body scale, should have this in their tool belt. Thanks!
thanks for the awesome fight tips as usual! been dealing with a gym bully who is a big guy and has this style, I'll try this tomorrow and let you know how it worked out.
❤This is very lucid and articulate, 🙏 Thanks!! -I have had more than one Kung Fu teacher try and explain what they were doing in this sort of thing and had us walk in circles, both sideways and backwards and the teacher could change direction without effort, but this is an excellent example of it.
The 2nd drill reminds me of a fighter id film study because he was a good right handed fighter that uses angles often. Orlando Calizales . (I could have mis-spelled the last name) But I drilled something he did often which was circling to my right (righty vs righty) as I get my opponent to continue to move to there right with me, then I step to my left and throw my combo. I even would work on that on the heavy bag I circle right ,then step left and throw. As my opponent moves to there right and when I switch to moving to my left and throw ,I catch them as they make that switch to moving left at that very razor thin opportunity when my opponent is squared and open when I throw my combo. It takes timing and practice but it's been effective for me.
My whole game relied on movements, making angles and trying to create collisions through the dominant angles u mentioned. This works wonders, but id like a video with the best tactics against the fence(or against the ropes too, although it's easier to defend agsinst the ropes due to slack), since the fence has no slack and u cant lean back. What's ur best strategy for staying safe when ur stuck there?
It would be awseom if you could implement live sparing footage into this like how jeff chan does and show what you're are able to implement and have trouble implementing in real time. I know its a lot more work but it will definitely pay off.
Sir I appreciate what you are doing. But the only problem I have is that you have given so much information regarding mma in all your videos that I dont know what to ommit and practice.Wrestling,Judo,Bjj,Boxing,Mauy thai,Kickboxing and Karate are all important for the athlete to be well rounded.I do thank you for all that you have given as far as the knowledge is concerned but how to attain mastery over all these arts with so much knowledge given that we have very limited lifespans.
Can you start with MMA private lessons? I know the basics of boxing, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and jiu jitsu. Or should I try to master one by one then mix my martial arts? I’m doing MMA for fun, not because I ever want to compete.
Not Wing Chun. Just a simple counter. Wing chun does not traditionally teach one to bob and weave left or right. This movement is just human fighting mechanics.
Basics? I don't think you understood the whole concept, then. Also, this is one of 650+ videos of a growing library and 8 new live streams every week, plus live streamed seminars.
Wait.. so.. a private single class for 50$ that your probably not gonna retain Or.. 50$ a month for a set of classes for Shane’s training you can access. Actually 50$ a private is cheap if you can find that lol
Sorry bro but your platform is way overpriced compared to some better value stuff, I am willing to invest but I found more valuable lessons for me in other courses
What other courses are you referring to? Just curious how they compare to fight tips cause this has been going on for a while now with top notch quality training, so I'm curious who else you see that are more valuable?

I remember when you first started,You have come along. And I’m 43 and still learning.
*come a long way
Been watching you since i was 22 and now im 29 time flies so quickly man and your videos has improved my boxing quite a lot and been the state champion.
Yes I use to watch him since middle school now I’m a old man he got me through some school fights and street fights I had lol
You were not a state champion
This is not boring at all this is a beautiful break down of the sweet science OSS

I saw the thumbnail and thought homie was about to spark up lol
Me too lol
This is a GOATed tips. I've seen this discussed in boxing, but not dissected and simplified in such a digestible manner. Thanks m8.
Shane is the man! Great tips, great video, great guests. Love the content.
Good to see you back at Boxing Works!
That's the big secret! Footwork, angles, and setting traps! 👏 🤜🤛

Layering the cake! Shoutout to most underappreciated boxing coach ever - @Coach Barry Robinson !

That is wild, this is professional figher trainning... honestly not sure I could handle that kind of thing... takes too much familiarity and savy
Do a video on how fight or win a street fight i need some tips, and show me how punch harder and how to take them down.
$50/mo is nuts
And it's only gonna go up from there!
For a course like this it's actually on the lower side I've seen similar content for twice as much.
ye not worth it at all, just go to the gym at this point
@@eyestabber100a real martial Arts trainer in a real gym usually charges double atleast
Ok, so don't buy it. Bye. 🎉
Does these tatics apply to other type of fighters?
Watch the end, at 12:28 Coach Bryan answers your question!
@@fighttips yea mb, i just started the video. Love you vids btw.
Feet are right, hands are right. So drill footwork. win fights.

Hey Shane you should be in Ultimate Self Defense Championship Season 3.
sick thumbnail
ONE has consistently better striking than a lot of the UFC, especially in the women’s divisions. Criminally underrated
Shane i grew up wstchiing u when i had tp defend myself from young 🌱
What should I do if I'm an orthodox in striking but an southpaw in wrestling?
