Just took the plunge and bought this model. Obviously its very expensive and so a considerable purchase for most people and we thought about it for a long time before getting one on interest free credit. My husband has cancer and a stent in his stomach and so small bits in his smoothies (like pips from raspberries) could put him in hospital. This is the only blender that will literally smash those pips to smithereens, although I always do 2 or 3, 4 smoothie cycles just to be sure. Also, because he can't eat much, this is an excellent way to deliver lots of nutrition in an easy to consume format. So in goes a bag of kale, spinach, ginger etc, foods that ordinarily would be too fibrous for him. As the smoothies are so smooth my fussy children are now drinking them every day too. The thought of my daughter unknowingly consuming kale fills me with joy! Of course, you can do lots of other things in your Vitamix but I just wanted to say that we have never regretted buying one for a single moment and it has hands down improved our family's nutrition and quality of life. So if you're hesitating, go for it!!! P.S. We found Life's No Yoke and love it, love it, love it! The tips such as slowing the speed to reduce foam on smoothies and fitting the small cup attachments were life savers!
Your husband can beat cancer. If you haven't came across Dr. Eric Bergs youtube channel you should take a look of how many people he has helped beat stage 4 cancer through changing thier diets. ALSO A KEY THING FASTING WILL HELP YOUR HUSBAND BEAT CANCER and cutting sugar from the diet completely. Cancer loves sugar, it helps it multiply faster. If your husband does a water fast for like a week the body will go into autophogy mode where it'll eat cancer cells for energy. I now strongly believe when Jesus christ fasted for 40 days and nights he was trying to tell us something without actually saying it. Remember cancer grows only when an energy source is provided aka processed added sugars. SO ZERO SUGAR IS THE WAY TO GO. PLEASE 🙏 GO TO DR. ERIC BERGS TH-cam CHANNEL FOR MORE OF THIS VALUABLE INFORMATION.
As a pro-smoothie maker, I'd say you don't need extra cycles, although I don't have that feature on my Vitamix. What I can say is virtually any Vitamix can make an ultra smooth, liquified smoothie in less than 1:30 minutes. My concern with the extra run time is heating the food up too much. But if not then no harm, just added wear on the unit. But I get you are protecting your husband due to his situation, so take it with a grain of salt. Best to both of you!
@@LINY Hi, I'm about to buy one. I'm between the 3500 or the 2500 with the 8/20 oz accessory package. (If I get the 3500, will have to wait a bit before splurging again on the extra bowls) Either way... I've enjoyed your videos. Does your wife attribute her phenomenal complexion to the daily green juice? Or, perhaps, is there another secret she might share? Also, how can I buy my machine through you, so that you get the credit and so I can get the ebook? :) Thanks!
I’ve had an old school Vitamix for about 20 years. We use it daily and nothing is wrong with it but I really want this model. I can’t think of how to convince my husband that this is a good purchase. He loves the old one and we have the adaptor for the smaller cups.
I got the 5200. It's not the fanciest. It's actually one of the oldest models current available. But for a first machine it's a good step. I see buying a fancier one later but I got a deal for 280 brand new for it. So the price for entry into Vitamix played a part.
I was going to purchase a new Vitamix this month...but was amazed on YT....after much searching... to find a completely different blender that had very positive reviews and costs a whole lot less. I got the "Ninja Pro Duo". I comes with 3 containers(one with another blade), a 64 oz container and 2 smaller ones. It has 1.8HP (1400 watts) and has 3 separate cutting blades on a vertical central stick. And in my opinion its about 35% quieter than my past Vitamix, It cuts and chops with ease and will pulverize seeds in a minute, if on 'extraction' mode. Lastly I paid $99 for the unit. I really like it. I am happy for those that are happy with their Vitamix ...and for me happy that I found the Ninja blender as for me, its value for its price is amazing, as well. I have used it almost every day and it makes great smoothies just like my older Vitamix did.
It's been 1 year since I got my A3500. Unfortunately, my Vitamix has been stored away for the past 3-6 months. My main complaints, were that the 64oz container wouldn't mix small batches and I wasn't willing to spend another $145 for the 48oz. container. Glad Vitamix/Amazon finally got that ridiculous price point corrected. The containers are now about 25% off from the original price at Amazon. So for a $109, problem solved. I am even considering getting the AER Disc Container now. Welcome back to the party Vitamix.
Life is NOYOKE-You should wash your container by hand, to avoid it turning cloudy. I run it through the cleaning cycle (which really doesn't do much of anything) and then I scrub it by hand. Works like a charm! The container on my 750 Pro still looks brand new.
The 8oz cup was the reason I went with an Ascent model!!! I absolutely love it for dips and sauces. I'd rather make a small batch fresh than store leftovers for days. I think I actually use the small cup more than the smoothie cup!
Excellent presentation and the black stainless is gorgeous (I have the white). I got my vision-impaired aunt the 750; it’s a perfect fit for her. I still like the 5200 best, though. 😁
Hi. I have seen a few of your videos. I did subscribe. Thank you so much for your thorough reviews. Helped me in making my decision. Been wanting a vita mix for over a decade. Had a ninja and had chunky smoothie today. Was just so disappointed. Also bought a nutribullet 2 years ago that also went bad. So glad I found this channel
Thanks you two, very well made videos on the Vitamix. I'm down to the 750 pro and the A3500, it will probably come down to which one I can get the best deal on.
I have been looking around for the best vitamix to buy my sister who is legally blind. I was looking at the ascent series because it has self detect and i was thinking it could 'assist' in automatically adjusting the blend time according to the weight of items she puts in. But now I realize this one isn't it, so thank you for talking about the complications for visually impaired.
I bought one and it broke in 4 days of light use , motor overheating and showing error message When googled found this was a very common problem I was doing frozen berries with coconut water , I guess you’re not supposed to thrown in frozen stuff , something I couldn’t figure but I am surprised that if it was gonna break the machine , they should have a “must read” paper before operation or something
I literally just bought this yesterday as a bundle. I came here looking for exactly this type of review. I had a Legacy Professional 750 for 10 years. We moved a year ago to a new house and still have a ton of boxes in the garage. My other Vitamix with my Zojirushi rice cooker and some other essential lost in a sea of boxes. I’d rather buy another than be without for much longer. I’ve been using a Ninja, great, but not my Vitamix. I will say that I liked the Legacy model because I was used to it. But I like this auto-recognition and more cook friendly for a myriad of projects. I also leaned toward this one because I could replace my 12 cup food processor. I didn’t like the lid portion of the review knowing that I must remove the lid sealing band to clean properly. It could harbor microbes. I can’t wait to use it.
Nice review, I wish, however that you would have demonstrated the food processor portion of the system because that is very new to the consumer market, as the blender/food processor combination has been available for use in commercial food service kitchens for year's now.
It wasn’t available when we published this video. We show it a bit in this video th-cam.com/video/JE9sQvVnoIM/w-d-xo.html and in the a3500 feature I’m uploading today
Have a 3600 series from the 70's..bought it at a consignment store for 25.00 bucks!..yes that's correct..still have it 15 years later, but getting ready to buy new 3500..theses machines last remarkably long..thumps Vitamix.
Thank you for this video, it was informative and I learned a few things. I received this for Christmas and was not sure if I wanted to keep it, I already have a 5yo Pro Series Vitamix but was never sure how long I should mix things. Your video explained many things, and I will keep my machine. Thank you again!
By the way I'm planning on retiring my old Lelit juicer after I receive the Vitamix. Seems like the juice will be just fine with it, and won't get the sugar spikes. Plus my Lelit is old. I've been juicing for 15 years, need some new motivation, gave it up for a couple of years, mainly because the cleanup was a mess.
I use the Pro 300 with additional 32 OZ wet & dry containers. I love him, because he create me best of almond flour and creamy green smoothies. I think it don't give a better brand than Vitamix.
I wish vitamix offered a starter kit with one 8oz and one 20oz, seems like a no brainer. In lieu of that, if you had to choose between them which one would you choose?
Update 2023-03-17: I just watched this video for the first time in a while and two things about it. One, it all hold up as true (except for the part about the Perfect Blend scale which has been retired). Two, this video made me so happy
Um it's still $649. Do you know if the Biochef automatic vaccum pump will fit on this container? Or if the container it comes with will fit on the base of this machine
@Lifeisnoyoke, I like the "click", since the pro 750 always leaks, specially when using the self cleaning button. Can we use the pro 750 jar with the ascent 3500. Thanks for being honest: the new lid looks tricky to clean :/
Bought a A3500i off amazon Italy and shipped to Switzerland. Open the box 1.5 mths after delivery and realize it is DEAD ON ARRIVAL. (Obviously from poor packaging ) Contacted customer service in USA and was told to go back to Italy AGENT for repair/claim. With me paying shipping cost. Told them i cannot speak Italian and ask to help with contacting VITAMIX UK (official).... I dont think they will agree. Anyway what great customer service Vitamix has......
Hi Noyoke, I like your videos but will you make 1 video comparing side by side the performance of A3500 vs 750 in every function (smoothie, soup, flour, whipping, stirring, chopping etc) that both the blenders can do? The reason is I have seen many review mentioning 750 is of better performance but never mention to which it is compared to...
Where's the video on how to keep the container nice and clean--or to get it as nice as you can? I have an old classic that's over a decade old and it's pretty bad. Thank you! I've been watching more of your videos than I expected.
Great video update! I'm thinking about getting this. How is the included container with single batch 16oz smoothies? Does the large container handle small batches like that well?

Also sir, for most quiet: graphite metal finish or black stainless metal finish or brushed stainless steel? Speaking of Quietness: I was looking at The Quiet One, too.. Thank you in advance. Brendan
Omg, I love your channel! New sub here! Why am I just seeing your recipes on your channel. Want to get a vitamix (newbie) and definitely think I’ll get the model you have! Thank you!
correct me if Iam wrong but ... one needs a ascent series dry grain container to make nut butter, grind grains, etc. .. thats what I have for my vitamix a2500 blender, theres a wet comtainer and a dry container????? Thanks
Hi Lucelle, it's not too difficult at all. I don't think any more difficult than the Classic rubber lids. Our little guy (2 in November) needs help to get either off. But my grandparents don't have trouble with theirs. Feel free to email me if you want to talk it through more :)
hello!^^ i recently bought the A3500 and wanted to know if i have to buy a seperate container for blending dry ingredients? or can i just use the basic container it comes in?
You can use the blade it comes with, but you may want to get the separate dry grains one for a few reasons: lifeisnoyoke.com/vitamix-containers/#dry-vs-wet
Definitely been trying to figure out which to go with between pro 750 and the a3500.. The snappiness of the switches and what not does give a better feel of "heavy duty"-ness, but what about the new-new.. and then the fact that maybe an even better newer model is coming?! Then should we do refurbished for cheaper from vitamix or just go with William Sonoma to get double points on my card.. it's been a long rough road to a decision and unfortunately we were leaning pro 750 now your video has me really reconsidering.. If only it was cheaper so I didn't think so much before purchasing.. any input would be appreciated. (I watched your pro750 or a3500 video but honestly do not know which I would be ok with - probably either) Thanks!
I purchased the a35OO I must admit I did not open the box but returned it and brought the 750 pro mainly for the programs Incidentally I first brought the vitamix from a shopping channel hardly ever used it. Now with the 750 pro I mainly make smoothies and a few banana ice creams. I have no regrets!
I did end up going with the A3500. I have not been disappointed. The snap lid is nice.. it's actually pretty "quiet" in comparison to the old Rocket Blender from Bella Cucina. I haven't had any regrets not getting the pro750 mainly because the display with the countdown is nice and the little spinning vitamix logo thing when not in use is also nice to see.. haha but seriously.. super happy so far.
4:28 your Vitamix software is v1.4, the A3500 model I just got has v2.0. Have you tried to update firmware on your A3500, what is your experience on this regards?
Hello, great video, would u guys happen to know if the a3500 is safe to plug in a voltage converter from 110 to 220v as I'm living in Asia and I really need/want this 😭
Love your videos/channel but I’m NOT in love with the 3500 model! It overheats all the time (even after following all the correct steps to avoid this) and keeps showing error messages... every time I use it! Wish I had my old 750 model back! I’ve tried to contact Vitamix- on the number I originally contacted them on- and it’s disconnected! Oh & FYI, Australia does not have the “notch” in the jug like yours. In any case, Keep up the great work!
Mine keeps breaking down. E3 4.2 error. Only 11 months old. That error was supposed to be to do with heating issues but returned it for repairs, they fixed a worn motor and drive socket. After 11 months? And today same error. Vitamix is very pricey and is supposed to be bullet proof. Annoying
Thanks for another amazing and helpful video! I wonder if you have to dial back the speed with the vitamix A3500i since it has a pause/stop button? I’d appreciate if you could help, thank you! 😊
Just purchased the A3500 after using a Pro 300 for ~5 years. My first smoothie didn’t seem to come out quite as smooth as the Pro would do. Does it make sense that the Ascent would have less power than the Pro series?
Have you had any issues with the plastic lid? I really want this blender but I'm worried it might chip or break easily compared to the rubber ones on some of the other model.
@@LINY Thank you :) Is it hard to clean under the black rubber ring of the lid? Its the only thing that is putting me off from buying it. Is it possible to take it off for cleaning or do you think that after a while it would cause it to become loose?
Anyone knows whether it's possible to launch A3500 right from the app? Say I want to put ingredients before the sleep and turn it in the morning right from the bed?
The first A3500 we got was DOA. That was one of the first ones off the assembly line in late 2016. The replacement we received (shown here and in most of our videos since) has been on our counter and used daily or more without issue
Lenny, you mentioned that gunk gets under the gasket in the Ascent series lids. I have noticed this. Can we take that gasket off, clean under it, and return the gasket to the cover without losing its integrity? Thanks.
Yeah, just confirmed. So you should be able to remove the gray seal and clean the same way you would with any other seal. Fortunately, by nature of its location, you shouldn't have to clean it too often. (The seals on the personal cups are at the bottom and are in constant contact with liquid, so those need to be cleaned almost every time.)
Have been meaning to l get an Ascent Model. If I get the l smart blending scale do you think it’s worth it to get an Ascent model? I saw a S55 for $299 at TJMAXX, but I heard it’s not as powerful as the Ascent models. The presets are jacked but I can use the l smart blending scale integration. I’m just looking for something with presets. Mainly for smoothies, ice cream, and soup... but the Vitamix Cookbook might make me more open to trying new things.
With these blenders I'm always worried that after a while the plastic container will become cloudy . The way I see it here, you didn't have that problem , right ?!

Um it's still $649. Do you know if the Biochef automatic vaccum pump will fit on this container? Or if the container it comes with will fit on the base of this machine
No code was applied with this link
@Lifeisnoyoke, I like the "click", since the pro 750 always leaks, specially when using the self cleaning button. Can we use the pro 750 jar with the ascent 3500. Thanks for being honest: the new lid looks tricky to clean :/
i know it is kinda off topic but do anyone know a good site to stream new series online?
@Uriah Sincere Flixportal =)
The white one is beautiful. Not available in France in this color.
If only they were in stock at Vitamix!
I know. Ugh. Keep checking or sign up for updates lifeisnoyoke.com/keepmeupdated/
A2300 here. Use it often and VACUUM blend in this container.
Bought a A3500i off amazon Italy and shipped to Switzerland.
Open the box 1.5 mths after delivery and realize it is DEAD ON ARRIVAL. (Obviously from poor packaging )
Contacted customer service in USA and was told to go back to Italy AGENT for repair/claim. With me paying shipping cost.
Told them i cannot speak Italian and ask to help with contacting VITAMIX UK (official).... I dont think they will agree.
Anyway what great customer service Vitamix has......
Hi Noyoke,
I like your videos but will you make 1 video comparing side by side the performance of A3500 vs 750 in every function (smoothie, soup, flour, whipping, stirring, chopping etc) that both the blenders can do?
The reason is I have seen many review mentioning 750 is of better performance but never mention to which it is compared to...
Will add the note to our backlog, but can't make any promises
Just for clarification, when mentioned batters, you could mix cookies dough with it, correct?
Like a kitchen aid stand mixer would? No, it doesn’t do that (and there isn’t an attachment for that, as of now)
@@LINY Thank you! I was bouncing between this blender and the
Ninja BL770AMZ Mega Kitchen System because that one can mix dough.
Where's the video on how to keep the container nice and clean--or to get it as nice as you can? I have an old classic that's over a decade old and it's pretty bad. Thank you! I've been watching more of your videos than I expected.
Thanks for the review.
My pleasure!
Great video update! I'm thinking about getting this. How is the included container with single batch 16oz smoothies? Does the large container handle small batches like that well?
Beautiful couple.
Just wondering if Vitamix sells replacement gaskets for the lid, or if the gasket goes bad would it be covered under the warranty?
Vitamix should cover anything that goes bad within the warranty 1-800-848-2649
TOTALLY RELEVANT. I JUST DISCOVERED THAT RUBBER SEAL TOO. THIS IS MY FIRST VITAMIX AND I LOVE IT, ALTHOUGH I MAY BE A LITTLE SPOILED BY THIS BLENDER!!
okay!!Yes!
Will the tamper for the 64oz carafe work with the 48oz one?
I'm ordering this 👌 one Friday, to replace my 780

I tried your links but it didn’t discount the starter cups set - is this deal still available?
Hmm, so the Pro 750 was the predecessor to this A3500?
Also, which do you prefer?

Thanks for the review. We are looking to buy a new mixer and I think this is the one we are going to purchase. Any issues as far as reliability.
I need the detox salad recipe in my life! PLEASE!!!
try it! lifeisnoyoke.com/detox-salad/
Thank you!

How do you clean under the rim? Thank You!

Thank you!! 🙏🏼😊
I just got one. I have yet to spark it up (this week, I will). Do you have a recipe for making Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream in it?
Hoy are you liking your vitamix?
@@samanthahernandez1020 It's awesome.
correct me if Iam wrong but ... one needs a ascent series dry grain container to make nut butter, grind grains, etc. .. thats what I have for my vitamix a2500 blender, theres a wet comtainer and a dry container????? Thanks
Right about grinding dry grains, wrong about nut butters. Do those in the wet
How hard is it to remove the lid?
I have arthritic hands, and that's my only worry. Can you comment please?
Hi Lucelle, it's not too difficult at all. I don't think any more difficult than the Classic rubber lids. Our little guy (2 in November) needs help to get either off. But my grandparents don't have trouble with theirs. Feel free to email me if you want to talk it through more :)
@@LINY Thanks for your thoughts.
@@LINY clear lid with rubber ring is enough to direct me to another model with rubber lid.
Thanks you for great sharing 😊
hello!^^ i recently bought the A3500 and wanted to know if i have to buy a seperate container for blending dry ingredients? or can i just use the basic container it comes in?
(I watched your pro750 or a3500 video but honestly do not know which I would be ok with - probably either) Thanks!
reconditioned is such a savvy buy
The A3500 carries a 10-year warranty.
THANK YOU... I"m not the only one that doesn't know which one!!!!!
HOW DOES THIS DO ON DICING/CHOP, OR DOES IT ONLY PUREE, JUICE ETC.
4:28 your Vitamix software is v1.4, the A3500 model I just got has v2.0. Have you tried to update firmware on your A3500, what is your experience on this regards?
Hello, great video, would u guys happen to know if the a3500 is safe to plug in a voltage converter from 110 to 220v as I'm living in Asia and I really need/want this 😭
THISSS!
Hello Lenny, after seeing that about the seal,, do you know if the rubber lid from the 750 would fit this container?
they do, yes
@@LINY good deal, thanks
I love my a3500
love it
Hi, You are talking about an upcoming food-processor attachment.
Any news about that?
unfortunately no, i saw a prototype, but no word on timing
Annoying
oh no! Vitamix Customer Service should be able to get that fixed or replaced ASAP 1-800-848-2649
Life is NOYOKE thanks. Hope so.
Can you put an entire avocado 🥑 in the blender?
i wouldn't
Thanks for another amazing and helpful video! I wonder if you have to dial back the speed with the vitamix A3500i since it has a pause/stop button? I’d appreciate if you could help, thank you! 😊
Hi, what do you recommend a vitamin with a 48oz container?
The only Vitamix that comes with a 48-oz container inlcluded is the E310!
lifeisnoyoke.com/out/vitamix/e310
Lifeisnoyoke thank you!
@@LINY Do you carry 780? and is this come with 32oz a container?
Could you do a noise comparison test on the a2300, a2500, a3500, and 750 & 780?
A2300&A2500 > 780 > A3500&Pro 750. Most noise to lease
is that rubber gasket replaceable?
Just bought one for my love, sorta🤫.
Just purchased the A3500 after using a Pro 300 for ~5 years. My first smoothie didn’t seem to come out quite as smooth as the Pro would do. Does it make sense that the Ascent would have less power than the Pro series?
Does not make sense, not really. Feel free to email me to talk it through or maybe consider calling Vitamix Customer Service 1-800-848-2649
Have you had any issues with the plastic lid? I really want this blender but I'm worried it might chip or break easily compared to the rubber ones on some of the other model.
Not at all, they're super strong
@@LINY Thank you :) Is it hard to clean under the black rubber ring of the lid? Its the only thing that is putting me off from buying it. Is it possible to take it off for cleaning or do you think that after a while it would cause it to become loose?
Did you find a way to clean that rubber line on the lid?
The rubber seal comes off easily with a butter knife. Then you just wash it and the area where it was, and it stretches to go right back on.
Anyone knows whether it's possible to launch A3500 right from the app? Say I want to put ingredients before the sleep and turn it in the morning right from the bed?
how does this compare to the a2300 i love this but the a2300 comes with extra for the same price but maybe it's because its not as good?
The A2300 doesn't normally come with extra (unless you're looking at a bundle)

Did you have any problems with it? Just saw some reviews at amazon that it has a burn smell and cleaning cycle has error code..
there's an amazon review for everything
Im really wondering if you had the same maschine over these 2 years?
Cause so many people say that after a few months it isnt working anymore...
Thanks.
confirming with engineering -- stand by
Yeah, just confirmed. So you should be able to remove the gray seal and clean the same way you would with any other seal. Fortunately, by nature of its location, you shouldn't have to clean it too often. (The seals on the personal cups are at the bottom and are in constant contact with liquid, so those need to be cleaned almost every time.)
Made my first smoothie this morning! It was great! I was able to get a certified refurbished one for $400 from the Vitamix website!!

Life is NOYOKE I was trying to get the free blender bowl starter set with my A3500 and it wasn’t going through. How can I get this??
Have been meaning to l get an Ascent Model.
If I get the l smart blending scale do you think it’s worth it to get an Ascent model?
I saw a S55 for $299 at TJMAXX, but I heard it’s not as powerful as the Ascent models. The presets are jacked but I can use the l smart blending scale integration.
I’m just looking for something with presets. Mainly for smoothies, ice cream, and soup... but the Vitamix Cookbook might make me more open to trying new things.
yeah, the scale works really nicely with all the Ascent models lifeisnoyoke.com/vitamix-ascent

With these blenders I'm always worried that after a while the plastic container will
become cloudy .
The way I see it here, you didn't have that problem , right ?!
The more you use them, the cloudier they get. Part of the deal. You can keep them clearer longer by drying them after cleaning them
@@LINY Much appreciated .
Is it supposed to just sit on the base and not lock in? Just got ours.
