After all his fame, he still acts like a guy next door. Truly amazing and admirable. That’s why he’s always been one of my favorites. SO down to earth and “normal”. Like anyone, he’s had some rough spots along the way, but he came out just fine. To this day, he’s still a remarkably kind and considerate person. You can tell by the way he answers questions in this interview. 😊
I’m a huge Burton Cummings fan. Great songwriter and exceptional singer. As the front man for The Guess Who and as a solo artist, he always delivered. Such a cool guy!
My 1st time seeing this interview. Burton speaks so well with intelligence, charisma, funny & personable. Best performer & singer/songwriter 🎼🎶🎹🇨🇦🎙️👍 He is real. He is loyal to his fans. I love listening to his stories. Burton is my favorite music Man. He's the best Star Baby in his show biz shoes 👟 🌟🥰 He is still going at 75 yrs old ..This year of 2023
Hi. I was so fortunate to see & hear him with the Guess Who in Brisbane Australia in the early seventies & it is still one of my greatest memories. On the same night was Three Dog Night. Those 2 bands just killed it. Shortly after I bought what I still think is one of the greatest live albums ever, The Guess Who Live At The Paramount. A true artist. Thanks so much for the interview.
I agree! The Guess Who Live at the paramount is a fabulous album! It is my favorite live album too. The band was tight, the new songs were great, and as per usual, Burton was in top form.
I've seen him many times with the Guess Who and solo. Always puts on a good show. You never feel cheated when you leave the show. I have especially fond memories of seeing him in 2001 with the original Guess Who version including Randy Bachman. Great show with Joe Cocker opening. The other show I remember well is in Arlington Heights IL. I believe it was around the 4th of July in 2012 when it was nearly 100 degrees outside. A very hot, sweaty night. Burton was struggling to keep his fingers sweat free!
Out of all the 60s and 70s singers I have heard and absorbed, Cummings voice hits that magic nerve in me. Lennon, Young, Cohen, Daltrey, all amazing and effective. Cummings, same....but somehow hits the elusive magic nerve.
He is always interesting! This was a stellar interview...thanks for posting!!! Hey, Burton, come back to the U.S. for some concerts!! And might I add, he is such a handsome man 😍
Does anyone know the name of the song he plays at the end? Naturally I thought it was called "falling all over again" but couldn't find it when I tried to look it up.
@@UncutMusicInterviews-gs7mh Ok thanks, I guess he never officially released it which is a shame but at least he recorded this wonderful rendition if nothing else.🤷
Fantastic stuff! Here a clip from one of his 2022 shows. (TH-cam keeps taking down my Guess Who upload, but I hope to have that resolved in the near future!) Still sounding great at age 75! th-cam.com/video/FOYzWw2MAvI/w-d-xo.html
He is rude, bullying, and selfish. No regard for other people. I will never forgive him for what he did to a business woman in Moose Jaw a few years ago. I will never listen to any music that includes him again. A disgusting person who can’t live in harmony with other people. Shame on him. 👎
@@dennisrowan9700 Very much his true self. He battled with her for a few months. In the press and everything. He made a big deal out of it and wined and cried like a baby. A terrible, miserable human being.
You must feel better now about yourself...good for you...If you do not have anything good to say about someone then don't say anything at all. Do you play guitar or something?
Burton is such a great interview -- very talkative and gives full, interesting answers. Thanks for sharing.

Burton Cummings has solidified his place as one of the best vocalists of all time.......Great to see hes so humble.

Awesome! I saw Burton Cummings 4 times live and met him. He is one of our great Canadian artists. Cheers! ✌

The beginning riff of These Eyes hits me hard in my heart and soul like no other song. The first note on
Really enjoying these interviews. Burton is a wonderful storyteller. So is Randy Bachman. Shame you never got to talk to him…or did you? 😊
One of the greatest voices ever !

Burton has such a nice vocal quality. No wonder the Guess Who had so many hit songs!
" No Gimmicks" Exactly! pure talent no need for all the glitz!
Where has this been hiding? Fantastic stuff! And he's still at it and sounding great!!

Wow, Guitar man.
Is this your only encounter with Cummings?
You think he was just having a bad day or did you feel his true self came to the surface?
@@dennisrowan9700 Very much his true self. He battled with her for a few months. In the press and everything. He made a big deal out of it and wined and cried like a baby. A terrible, miserable human being.
@Guitar Man Thank you sir.
I'm duly informed now. I'll think less of him as a human being from now on.

Hey guitar man. We all have enemies. They give us more character then you think. Thanks for sharing this
