Wow thanks for all the super positive feedback everyone, this was definitely my greatest moment in regards to sc2. I made d3 shortly after this, but have been trading games since then and hit a bit of a wall. Having fun though!
Tegridy Farms weakest is versus Terran for sure, and I open gate expo cyber into colossus and death ball. I usually get rolled by their timing attacks though... I’ve tried some more aggressive openers like a proxy gate or robo and it often pays off but if it doesn’t I’m usually ultra dead
5:17-6:15 When Winter pauses to tell him to, at 50 probes, build more gates, enough for 8 total, and as soon as Winter unpauses, the kid builds 7 more gates. The force is strong with this one, lol.
So I wanna give some general advice to this guy, because it really feels like he wants to learn and improve. Mistakes: 1) That's the most important for high diamond and over: the war prism. You need a war prism with your army to reinforce, because if the enemy can reinforce and you cannot at some point you're going to loose all the units that you sent in. Also, a zealot warp in in the enemy main base can be very hard to deal with for F2 zerg players. 2) Robo opener is not really an opener in PvZ, you either get council and then robo (glaives, archon drop,...) or you go for a stargate 3) The fourth base was too late and you were oversaturating your third way too much (you usually want to oversaturate before transferring probes, but you oversaturated before even starting the fourth nexus) 4) The storm was too late: roach only is not a composition from the zerg, so in this case it was actually not a problem, but when a lot of hydras or banelings come into play you REALLY need storm for instance, you want to have storm before the second robo (and the second robo can be good vs lurkers, but it's not something you build blind) 5) Don't double forge in PvZ, you really only care about attack upgrades (double forge is only good in PvT) 6) Not leaving a unit in hold position in the wall after you took a third: lings runbys can come any time, just keep an adept there (you have to move it to let immortals out, but here's a tip if that bothers you: build the robo as part of the wall, if it's a 17 hatchery you can get the wall off with the robo before any speedling can arrive at your base) 7) Try to be a bit more patient on setting up fights: you spent your first 12 minutes of the game building an army, you can spend some more seconds to use it correctly. The only big fight you took it was down a ramp, you could enter the highground from the left ramp, for example and maybe set up a flank from the very right side with some zealots. 8) You lack a bit of scouting, just build one more observer to scout the main, or build a sentry for hallucinations. Or even a war prism can be good for understanding what the opponent is doing. For instance, if he went Mutas instead of hydras your comp suddenly wasn't so great anymore (too many immortals) and your main and natural mineral lines were totally exposed. 9) Map vision: especially after the third base or fourth base is up you can't defend every location simultaneously, so you need to have some vision around you bases to be prepared (build some outside spotter pylons, leave a zealot there, maybe an observer in a good location, etc...) Bonus) This is for a quite higher level, but I think you'll get there soon, so I'll just put this down. Don't take gasses immediately when taking an expansion: taking gasses is an action that you take when you're sure to be safe and you wanna get tech units (taking and saturating gasses costs around like 6-7 zealots) and you usually want to have at least 13-14 probes before taking them, but sometimes you just want to stik to 4 gasses on 3 bases if you're getting pressured. Indeed there was a clear time for the zerg to stomp you at around 7 minutes in the game (you have few units, you have 6 gasses but only 3 gates, that's not good) Anyway, as Winter said, you did a very good job so I also want to point out the things that I think you did very well: 1) zealot runbys without caring too much about them 2) chronoboosts on probes and upgrades 3) good unit composition afterall 4) managing to keep macroing while attacking 5) the main aspects of the build order are correct 6) You didn't float a crap ton of money at any point in the game, even tho you can improve quite a bit in this Sorry for the block of text. but I got inspired and I hope this gets helpful to this guy, or really to anyone.
@@lagg1e I remember on his first few episodes or so he said that he didn't believe his low apm series could really do much but he hopes that some people will enjoy and learn from it. But he wasn't sure whether it would or wouldn't or if people would even enjoy it. Of course, he has a player here who did both and is very successful, so I'm pretty sure he's ecstatic
Sometimes when I'm sad for whatever reason I do watch this vid. Not only is it very funny, but it's so cozy and heartwarming. It shows Winters sense of humour and his empathy, Very enjoyable - Thank you Sir!
As a guy who also learned much of playing StarCraft from watching the low APM series Deej is my hero now. Started playing a couple of ladder matches after finishing the campaigns and then realized that I suck. So I started watching all of the low APM videos to learn about the basics. Finished them all and then I started winning matches. Haven't been playing much though but hopefully I can send a replay one day. Maybe when I'm not poor cuz as a third world boy I'd slash of a pretty hefty chunk of my monthly paycheck to send one. Or maybe I'm just stingy? Started to love playing StarCraft as I watched how Winter casts and plays it. Might rewatch them again cuz I want to be a better terraaaaaaaaaaaaan for now.
It's super cool, and if I wasn't part of the 80% of his viewerbase who don't really play SC2 (not for a long time at least), it would have been super instructive.
True. Low Apm series is very helpful informative vids. It teaches you on how to focus on the important stuffs necessary to understand and win in sc2 and not just spamming to get high apm just to feel like a pro. GZ Deej! :D
In terms of guides, the low amp challenge is ofc extremely helpful, but something that personally just made it click, the first person Byun cast - just made me view the game a different way seeing how he actually plays
I tried to teach my friend once, but he got upset because he had 120+ apm but it was spent doing unimportant things. So he’d lose the game and say “how did I lose I have double their apm” after trying to explain why for a couple days and him just not listening I gave up
I love this, he is actually doing stuff so well and having learned all that by watching videos and taking the advice at heart is actually really cool. Like and comment my dudes.
Wait a second... This is an Angry Coach video and WINTER IS HAPPY? What the f*** is going on? Just look at his face sayin this player will be Diamond, holy molly...
Do you have a tendency to evaluate based on your own (in)capabilities? It's unlikely, but it happens - people have different learning curves. I was plat1 within 100 games and reached low diamond shortly after. I did finish the campaign before multiplayer though.
@Quentin Styger I am among the WORST videogame players ever born at any game. Rarely can I get to 20 APM. If I had the time, I would start a channel for people with ZERO reflexes that at least enjoy strategy. One reason I like the Bronze League Heros is to watch people whose strategic sense is horrible being laughed at. I wish there were a league that would play at 1/5 speed so that those of us who are incapable of speed but enjoy strategy could play. Or maybe 1/10th speed.
Wow thanks for all the super positive feedback everyone, this was definitely my greatest moment in regards to sc2. I made d3 shortly after this, but have been trading games since then and hit a bit of a wall. Having fun though!

Tegridy Farms fantastic thanks I’ll review and give it a shot
Already better than 98% of winter's viewerbase
Certainly better then me.
It cannot be. We all here are twitch chat grandmasters.
I'm still working my way through the tutorial. =D
Wel thank God I'm the 2%....
Right guys???
Guys???????
Yeah, I'm sliver II lol, I'm never going to be gold
Incredible. Hats off to the A+ student
5:17-6:15 When Winter pauses to tell him to, at 50 probes, build more gates, enough for 8 total, and as soon as Winter unpauses, the kid builds 7 more gates. The force is strong with this one, lol.
There can be no Angry Coach without burning kybrit.
12:56 this is just heart warming. I genuinely feel happy for Deej
"a rolodex is an ancient version of the cell phone contact list" is the proper answer!
I like how winters genuinely happy about the performance
So I wanna give some general advice to this guy, because it really feels like he wants to learn and improve.

1) zealot runbys without caring too much about them
2) chronoboosts on probes and upgrades
3) good unit composition afterall
4) managing to keep macroing while attacking
5) the main aspects of the build order are correct
6) You didn't float a crap ton of money at any point in the game, even tho you can improve quite a bit in this
Sorry for the block of text. but I got inspired and I hope this gets helpful to this guy, or really to anyone.
It's not angry coach, it's quite impressed coach.
7:10: Winter being like a happy dad for like 5 seconds and being really surprised and happy
He never expected his educational material to actually educate players. Faith in fax machine operators restored.
@@lagg1e I remember on his first few episodes or so he said that he didn't believe his low apm series could really do much but he hopes that some people will enjoy and learn from it. "After 50 probes, you kinda stop building probes. Just hover over the supply, then you just build more probes."
Can't stop, won't stop.
dude should ask for a refund. Winter didnt get angry at an point in the vid
Depends on whether you pay for the Angry or the Coach :D
love this angry coach. i watch all of them (also the marathons in full length) and this one has a totaly different feeling then the marathons
the funniest parts of this are Winter not knownig what a Rolodex or bootstrap is lol
Yeah man what a ZoOmEr
Yea that was great. Been waiting on this since winter mentioned it some weeks ago. 1 thing to add tho, he forgot a prism
True but his build didn’t really need a prism.
Nice, you went from Angry Coach to Lovely Coach, which is good seeing time to time.

A happy Angry Coach? It was bound to happen sometime. Well done.
Im plat, this guy`s macro is in my wildest dreams
Damn, i need to watch the Low APM series
It's super cool, and if I wasn't part of the 80% of his viewerbase who don't really play SC2 (not for a long time at least), it would have been super instructive.
Awesome video Winter. Love the usual raging, but this is a VERY Welcome toss in! No pun intended
I am plat1 terran and I would not want him to play against me on the ladder .Good job mate, well done!
True. Low Apm series is very helpful informative vids. It teaches you on how to focus on the important stuffs necessary to understand and win in sc2 and not just spamming to get high apm just to feel like a pro. GZ Deej! :D
gotta show support for this guy you just feel bad for winter
That game was great! It would be amazing if this guy goes pro one day.
"Go pro in StarCraft 2 with this one weird trick!" 😂
low apm series is really good. it's how I got better at starcraft too
wow around 100 games and allready plat... man... i suck...
i mean, the guy definetely did his homework because its not like hes a god xd
thorn is correct, do your homework and bust out thee 'ol note pad 8]
plot twist: it was kybrit smurfing
This is like a Dad teaching his son to throw the perfect spiral for 10 years and then he finally got it.
Huh?
In terms of guides, the low amp challenge is ofc extremely helpful, but something that personally just made it click, the first person Byun cast - just made me view the game a different way seeing how he actually plays
i thought that the tittle was clickbait, dint spect a Real +A
Man wish I had seen winter low amp guided before I played sc2, if I had I wouldn’t have as bad of habits that I’ve been trying to break
I hope to follow in Deej's footsteps in 2023......
Winter talks like a proud dad
you look like a proud papa
I didn't know Lowko was a quest commentator today.
In all seriousness good job Gamer!
Off to watch all of the low APM series
*curtsy*
Well done, well deserved A+.
a roledex is a diamond-encrusted pokedex, for only the most fly of pokemon trainers
What a FeelsGoodMan story for all of us noobs trying not to look at our army when it's attacking.
I bet winter shed a tear after the stream. :)
A-grade supercut marathon pls !!!!
Might have missed it but did he have a warp prism? you should always have one with you since you can warp in reinforcements.
I tried to teach my friend once, but he got upset because he had 120+ apm but it was spent doing unimportant things. So he’d lose the game and say “how did I lose I have double their apm” after trying to explain why for a couple days and him just not listening I gave up
Feelsbadman.jpeg
Son of Nike worst part, he just refused to A-move, he’d just click the opponent’s units one by one so he’d lose sometimes even if he had a better army
this is not angry coach, this is more like Forest gump´s first military trainer.
He plays very solid....nice
Only 1 more thing to learn RF pylon or prism , hope there is A++ rating for that :)
Winter is proud...
This was wholesome
A+ rank is Winter's way of saying YOU should be training HIM. ;)
100 games and that was the gameplay? Dude, goddamn, I can't do that and I've played at least 3 times that
Happy for that guy
Make another forge and switch high with dark templar and you get my build apm stays the same
Why in ladder can't I play as purple colour
is this winterplaylist music copyright free?
Did I miss a fax? Are rolodexes not used anymore?! :O
What a nerd, he studied before the test and got A+
That spoiler in the title and in preview.
Can we get bronze leauge hero ratings. We have only card based penalties so far
is this a diamond 1 toss? im a diamond 2 random player and when i get toss, i play worse than this. (glave all-ins are still prefeted tho)
If he is not, he definitely can reach that fast. I'm D3 toss and he is more solid than me
he is platt 1
I love this, he is actually doing stuff so well and having learned all that by watching videos and taking the advice at heart is actually really cool.
Like and comment my dudes.
I mean, hydra lurker viper with like 8 roaches though. Too much to expect from a plat zerg I suppose.
Chargelot Immo Archon at 10min good
Wait a second... This is an Angry Coach video and WINTER IS HAPPY? What the f*** is going on?
Just look at his face sayin this player will be Diamond, holy molly...
This make me want to start sc2
Kudos
see Winter some actually see your videos, hehehheheheh
Respect +
There can be only one.
I think this guy can be diamond if he tries. Maybe even master if he improves fast.
Rolex is the watch.
this is winter grading his own game ofcourse he gives himself a good grade rolf
Lookin like a Skinny young nerdy Kevin Spacey n shit
what if that was a pro on an alt account or something...
what a chad
How can nobody tell that Deej is a troll? You don't get those mechanics from watching some video guides... it takes years of in-game experience.
Do you have a tendency to evaluate based on your own (in)capabilities? It's unlikely, but it happens - people have different learning curves.
I was plat1 within 100 games and reached low diamond shortly after. I did finish the campaign before multiplayer though.
Boi needs to build units, too big of a bank
Agreed. Supply peaked around 170 before the engagement. If he had more production, he would have easily capped it off.
kiss winter
Omg I'm early :) can't think of anything clever to say tho.... Drat I'm missing out on all the likes and clout
you need a coach to play video games .. what? XD
Paid advertising 4head
Not deserving A+ but yes a solid A

you pause way to much
@Quentin Styger fair enough. Simple fix is to unsubscribe to avoid junk content in my youtube. Thanks for the heads up
