Thanks, that shallow sight fishing looks like a blast.
Only triggers I've caught are in Baja California. But never on a fly. Planning a trip this summer with a fly gear n really looking forward to it.

I absolutely love chasing Trigger Fish. Have caught them over 10lb at CXI. They are so finicky how they take a fly. Love how they take a fly at 90deg to the bottom. Very challenging to get them to take a fly. If a Bonefish is a Ferrari of the flats the Trigger is the Mack Truck lol. That's why I love them. Hopefully chase them again in 2022 at CXI.

Literally caught a hundred on the fly. They are definitely fun and entertaining. Apparently good to eat as well. All of mine were released without harm.

Aardvark McLeod Fly Fishing in Mexico on from north of Cancun to south into Boca Paila. Pretty much along the entire coastline. Been going for 20 plus years except of course this spring. Hopefully be able to get back at it soon. Super fun on a 4 wt.
