As an IRyStocrat since debut, that lil monologue by IRyS in the beginning almost made me cry man. IRyS had always been a happy-go-lucky streamer so it's not very often you see her have a vulnerable moment like that. I also love how absolutely anime Kronii and Bae's voice acting is in this. I think its cuz Cover had plans for 2 more solo debutes but they eventually got scrapped. iirc, Nerrisa's model has some insparation from one of the scrapped ones and Chloe/Shiori's too. The two scrapped ones seem to have a similar theme to IRyS aswell

They had to fight for her to be included. Ina fought for her collab ban to be shortened and Bae was the first who fought to include her in Council activities wherever possible. The fans and talents came up with CouncilRyS but it was never used by Cover. It's part of their collective history and story that they all looked out for each other and made sure IRyS was made to feel included even when management made silly decisions. Can I just say how well the art captures everyone’s facial expressions and emotions? Everyone did such a spectacular job and Kronii’s voice acting was impeccable.
It really felt like a sequel after an 'incident', 'tragedy' or when something big ended. All of them are much more warmer compared before when they were still called 'Council' as well separated from 'Hope/Despair'. It's like there was a big event happened after this and long years and time passed they settled in a far places, for there is a space for hope to be with them. And now they continue their sequel together as five. With someone eternal watching them beyond the skies in the sea of abyss. One hoping for their journey to be a fun one.
So nice to have returning collaborators working on this on the official channel Hyde and Num providing art just like they did for the heloweEN project and now Jeremy's music whose channel everyone should take a look, as he's been composing things for hololive for years now and he provided music for the CouncilRyS RPG fangame

Can I just say how well the art captures everyone’s facial expressions and emotions? Everyone did such a spectacular job and Kronii’s voice acting was impeccable.
It really felt like a sequel after an 'incident', 'tragedy' or when something big ended. All of them are much more warmer compared before when they were still called 'Council' as well separated from 'Hope/Despair'.
It's like there was a big event happened after this and long years and time passed they settled in a far places, for there is a space for hope to be with them. And now they continue their sequel together as five. With someone eternal watching them beyond the skies in the sea of abyss. One hoping for their journey to be a fun one.

I love the arrangement. I can pick out a few songs here and there but my ear just cannot quite catch them all.

Never understood the dubbed comic format and can't say I can really appreciate it, but this had me captivated the whole time. 😄
Also, there was a bit of dread towards the end when I thought it started to sound like a mass graduation. 😅
I dont know why but this really feels like they are part of the same generation, and that personally the first time i can say that ive seen them as Hololive Promise and not CouncilRyS
