Looking forward to this as so many people use WTC 7 as "proof" of a conspiracy. I don't get it personally as a collapse of two 110 story buildings would compromise the structure of buildings near by from the vibrations alone and that's ignoring falling debris and fire.

Debris from the WTC1 and WTC2 collapses damaged the buildings around them, including WTC7, and started major fires which were left to burn for seven hours. The heat weakened internal core steel columns in one part of the building failed vertically. And then the now unsupported adjacent columns failed laterally. The debris from the steel frame collapsing pierced the now freestanding outer shell near the base and it finally collapsed.

I can't believe a video with Hulk executing the Trade Center is the only video in 22 years to explain this in a way that seems logical. The question was always: if the floors pancaked, where was the steel core? The sagging floor demonstrating pulling the walls inwards makes a LOT of sense.

You explain why the floors fail where the planes crashed into, but what about the 100 or 150 feet of intact building below the crashed part

    • @YouTubeSucks_1
      @YouTubeSucks_1 23 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

The video does, but not very well since it is both obvious and not that important. Pay special attention at #10.
      1. Plane hits building causing massive structural damage. The plane is completely destroyed in a fraction of a second, but this in no way implies no damage to the building. Large fires break out across multiple floors simultaneously with no fire fighting or fire suppression in an unprecedented fire event.
      2. What happens to steel when you heat it? The steel gets softer. The longer you heat it and the hotter it gets the steel starts to _bend_
      3. Bent steel is not as strong as straight steel.
      4. The steel floor trusses start to bend (sag) from the heat and the weight of the concrete floors, furniture and equipment.
      5. Sagging floor trusses pull some of the surviving perimeter (outside) columns inward, causing them to bow by up to five feet.
      6. Bent steel is not as strong as straight steel.
      7. The perimeter columns bend until they buckle (best seen in the Gary Pollard video of the South Tower collapse linked in the description above).
      8. Columns - which carry ALL of the gravity loads - above and below the failure point are *no longer aligned*
      9. The falling upper mass drops _past the columns_ below, NOT onto them. THIS BIT IS IMPORTANT!!!
      10. Tens of thousands of tons of debris falls _down_ through the open office space *within the four outer walls* . As that debris hits the next floor, that floor fails when the pair of bolts connecting each truss to the core and perimeter columns shear off. The debris then falls the next 12 feet with the mass of the newly failed floor added to it and hits the next floor, which fails. Rinse and repeat x90. This proceeds through all the floors one by one until the floors are all gone.
      11. Rate of collapse increases as the collapse progresses. The collapse accelerates from zero, slows only very slightly with the first impact, speeds up again (this time not from a starting point of zero) and as the momentum and mass increases, the slow down with each impact decreases. There was exactly as much resistance as there should have been. _average_ rate of collapse for this stage was 0.65 of GA.
      12. The perimeter columns, no longer attached to the rest of the building and thus lacking critical lateral support fall away - peel.
      13. The central core columns, damaged by the falling debris and with no lateral support from the perimeter columns fall last.
      14. The Twin Towers were an integrated structure. None of the three major components - core system, perimeter columns and long-span floor truss systems - could survive without the others.

It was assumed until that day that when terrorists hijack a plane, they do it to use the passengers as bargaining leverage - they want something and will trade passengers to get it. That is why the standard procedure for passengers was to not try to fight the hijackers: you are worth more to the hijacker alive than dead, unless you start to cause problems for them. So what was not imagined was terrorists hijacking a plane not to get the passengers but to get the plane itself. This is why the 9/11 terrorists chose flights that typically had low passenger volumes.
As soon as the passengers on United Flight 93 found out that they were not being taken hostage, but that the terrorists were going to kill everyone, the calculus changed and they heroically fought back. They gave their lives to save those at whatever the fourth target was. We all know now that if we are on a plane that someone tries to hijack, we all get out of our seats and overwhelm the hijackers with superior numbers.

The animation at 10:15 is very unfortunate, as the entire structure moves down at the same time. This movement would only occur if the tower collapses from the bottom (nutjob theory of bombs on bottom floor) rather than from the top (what actually happenend: plane crash). I understand it is done to make the animation a little easier to produce, but it's important to note that , when looking at videos of the collapse, the towers clearly collapse from the top, and not the bottom.

Interesting observation: It took hours for people to move between the same locations that took seconds for some inert object to move through itself, even though the force created by an accelerated mass is only applicable between locations (MxA=F); because the path of greatest resistance is always through oneself, whether it's as poorly constructed as a pillar of cigarette ash or as strongly constructed as a wrecking ball.

The only problem I have with the animation in this video is that the animator rendered the video so that it made it appear as though the building was collapsing at ground level, whereas in reality, the collapse occurred right below the damage area in the building. You think fuel from 707 coming from the middle east will have a tank full of fuel? Most of the fire exits through the hole the plane makes and some of the fuel can spill out. So it's dumb and illogical to say that just plane fuel can collapse a building after 1 hour of the towers withstanding it. There is definitely external interference occuring that cause the building to basically freefall

While I do not deny any allegations addressed to the U.S. government or accusations about different aspects of 911 not making sense, after watching this video, the speed at which the buildings fell apart is more understandable to me.
It, of course, does not justify the architects' neglect of implementing proper security measures before finalizing the building of the World Trade Center; an understanding of how the buildings were made in the first place gives a lot of insight.
This isn't to say that there could not have been other causes or contributing factors of the attack and explosion; however, I lean toward believing that the building was not in a proper shape to sustain an attack by such a size plane in the first place.

Indeed so. Another consideration is that the 767 is very similar in both size and weight to the largest of the Boeing 707's - the intercontinental version. In fact, at the fuel loads of the two airplanes that hit the WTC, their weight would have been around the same as, or a bit less than, that of a fully loaded 707. Although the 767 is a twin aisle airplane, and thus has a slightly wider fuselage, it is fairly close to the overall size of the 707 dimensionally. So the testing done during the development of the WTC was not as far off the mark as many may think.

If you dig in you find reason after reason after reason the official story was a fake. Do you remember the February 26, 1993 World Trade Center bombing in the parking garage of one of the buildings? The plan was to topple the North Tower into the South Tower, and then both buildings falling like dominoes and destroying the surrounding buildings. The death toll could have been as high as 250,000 if that had been successful because of no possibility of evacuation. I can't fathom it. We'd be talking about 2/26 today instead of 9/11. The terrorist back then (Ramzi Yousef in like 1995) said it would have been successful if he'd had more money, and that they planned to eventually take down the towers. 😢Can you imagine how different the world would've been in the 90s and today if 2/26 had been successful? @@bobbyd6040 - The Titanic was supposed to be unsinkable and the Twin Towers should withstand the _impact_ of a commercial jet (whatever that means). Are you baffled when grazing an iceberg sank the Titanic as you are with the Twin Towers collapsing after being hit by a plane each?
For the record: *The Twin Towers were never **_designed_** to withstand any sort of aircraft impact, however one may choose to define that* (and there are many ways to define what that actually means). This was not a requirement of the customer or of NYC building code and you will see no mention of it in the building plans.
What is true (apparently) is the _accidental_ impact of a jet lost in fog while on landing approach (light and slow) was studied at a crude level in a 3-page memo of hand-worked calculations. What was NOT studied was what happened on 9/11/2001 the intentional high-speed Kamikaze attack by a much larger aircraft moving at full tilt. This crude study was performed AFTER primary design work on the Twin Towers had been was completed (after the time for any major changes was past), with the precedent being an _accidental flight collision_ along the lines of the July 1945 Empire State Building crash. The scenario studied was a narrow-body Boeing 707 (then the largest aircraft in service) on landing approach (light and slow - about 200 mph and low fuel load) lost in fog. This study did NOT consider the 9/11 scenario of a larger, heavier and high fuel load wide-body passenger jet being intentionally accelerated to maximum speed in a kamikaze attack.
Those are two very different animals. The calculations and methodologies used in the original airplane impact analysis circa about 1964 have not been found. We have only anecdotal accounts that they were done and what they concluded. So exactly what impact dynamics and damage the Twin Towers were expected to withstand can not be determined. However, given the rudimentary nature of modeling capabilities in the 1960’s (calculations done by hand with pencil and slide rule, not 3D computer graphics and AI), it is doubtful that the analysis would have been conclusive and, at any rate, it did not include the effects of _the resultant fires which are what ultimately brought down the Towers_ . Such effects are exceptionally difficult, expensive and time consuming to model even today and at any rate, given the 1964 scenario would not have informed us much about the very different circumstances of 9/11/2001.
As Leslie Robertson, the lead engineer on the Twin Towers building project said after 9/11: _To the best of our knowledge, little was known about the effects of a fire from such an aircraft, and no designs were prepared for that circumstance. Indeed, at that time, no fireproofing systems were available to control the effects of such fires_ . For some reason *this part is always ignored by conspiracists* They bang on about “designed for impact”, forgetting to note they were not designed for the subsequent multi-floor fires. And there is the rub. Collapse of the Twin Towers was due to just one factor (physical damage from aircraft impact) but to four (4) factors, of which commenters all too commonly only consider one, maybe two, but _never_ all four.
Impact Damage does not = collapse. Both Towers survived the _impacts_ obviously.
Fire does not even = collapse. Not by itself.
It was a combo platter; *Impact Damage + Fire (heat) + Time + Gravity = Collapse*
Remove any one (1) of those four (4) elements and there is no collapse. They work together.
Ignore _any_ of those four (4) elements and you will never understand the collapse. They work together.
Unfortunately that is four (4) elements which is at least three (3) more elements than many people who opine on this topic can handle at once. So often the discussion is stuck at the level of _impact damage_ *OR* _fire_ (time and gravity never even come up).
Impact damage alone obviously insufficient to immediately induce collapse, as evidenced by the fact both Towers were still standing after being hit and remained standing for a considerable amount of time. In fact, both towers survived _impacts_ that were 4 to 5 times greater in terms of _impact energy_ than the scenario considered back in the 1960’s. The planes certainly did not survive the impacts. They were decelerated from over 500 mph (Flight 175) to 0 in a fraction of a second and converted into millions of bits.
*That in no way implies the Twin Towers should come out unscathed or that they cannot succumb to additional accumulating damage over time* later.
Some people seem to get this bizarre belief that _survive impact = zero damage_ which is of course obvious nonsense. That is why it is so important to qualify these things.
*Fire* induces further weakness of the structure but that *takes time* to accomplish, it is not immediate. Over time and more and more of the structure gets weaker until it is no longer able to support the weight of the structure and *gravity* does what it does. Columns begin to bend as they get hotter and lose strength. We know (or at least should know - if you don’t then you shouldn’t even be in this discussion) that a straight column has more load carrying capacity than a bent column. Bend the columns too far and they will fail in Euler buckling.
And that is exactly what happened to initiate the collapses of both Twin Towers.
      Now you know.

If you look at the footage, the second plane clearly crashes on the side of the building not down the center.
In other words, one side would have warped metal much faster and it wouldn't have neatly fell like that.
The top would have toppled on its side.

      @holdernewtshesrearin5471 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +14

It doesn't work like that. Many hundred ton steel structures are designed to carry a vertical load and resist lateral wind loads while firmly supported at their foundations. Lean the structure even a few degrees from vertical and especially without full and even support from its base or foundation and it will crumble like so many toothpicks.

    • @user-nb7co9hs3g
      @user-nb7co9hs3g 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

Man, the laws of physics don't change. If one side goes first, it should come down a little on it's side. It doesn't have to lean and fall sideways but at least it should come down a little on it's side. Not perfectly down like some one squashed it from the top.
Ever seen those failed demolition videos where not all the TNTs blow up, and the building ends up falling on its side?@@holdernewtshesrearin5471

@@sspanjersbergNewtons law of motion explain this behaviour. Once the top part of the building is no longer connect to the bottom part, the bottom part of the build can no longer apply a force to the top. That means the only force acting on top part of the building is gravity and gravity acts straight down, and the body then moves in the direction of that force.

@@alanchilds1456That's a pretty silly comment - the planes didn't disappear. They broke up and threw bits of plane and contents all over, including outside the towers. A passport isn't really destructible by blunt force and probably would survive unless it was burned. And if the passport happened to be in the cockpit at the time it would probably have a better chance there than anywhere else of being thrown outside the building. I get that the conspiracy theory is always more fun to believe but the passport surviving really isn't as improbable as you think.

"Barely fly a single jet plane"?? They had gained commercial pilot licences! 🤣 All they had to do was steer the planes, they didn't even have to concern themselves with taking off & landing, the only difficult parts to flying. Steering is easy, crashing is even easier. Explain to me how the baggage handler who has ZERO flying experience managed to take off & perform loop the loops & barrel rolls yet the guys with commercial pilot licences in your eyes didn't have the skill to crash an already airborne plane?
As for your box cutter remark, airport security was very different back then & you were actually allowed to take a small blade on board without issue. That day changed everything.

Mohammed Atta and Marwan Al Shehhi had both earned their FAA Commercial Pilots Certificates and were grossly overqualified to crash a plane - the easiest thing any pilot can do. Atta flew in a straight line. Al Shehhi made a left hand descending turn. Not sure what "calculated maneuver" you are referring to.
Blades under 4" long were not contraband on 9/11/2001. Back in those days I frequently carried a Swiss Army Knife on planes and never gave it a thought.
