WoW!!! Big Red Mack fTw. 💪💪 Seems like all the old rigs got the up on the newer ones. I'm not a trucker but I assume is all the emissions control? Anyone?
The biggest difference is the fact that most of those older trucks pulling and racing are strictly toys nowadays long after their years of daily work. They have been built simply to make as much power as they can. Where as the newer trucks are still on the roads working every day and are built to make a decent bit of power but still with efficiency and reliability in mind. For example the owner of that Red V8 Mack is Dave Button, he has a whole fleet of V8 superliners that still do work everyday locally but that truck he is pulling/racing is easily making a 1000+ HP and it is just a toy, hooks a trailer to it a few times a year just to say he did it. None of his V8 Superliners in his fleet are making the kind of power this truck is because it simply is not practical. Likewise a new truck could make the same power or more but at the cost of making it be less reliable and less efficient, when that truck is what makes you money everyday most people prefer to not turn it up quite as much so they can maintain that reliability and efficiency because again it is more practical for a truck that is on the road daily.
Drag raceing lol my old 1978 pete didnt drag race, but ill bet it would have out pulled every one of these trucks loaded on the hills and it never once broke down in over a million miles
Is that a problem? Our goal is to share our love for the sport of Pulling including some drag racing. I have been filming for over 25 years so you will see older videos as well.
@@EEPPULLINGVIDEOS oh no, I was just trying to stop the people coming in and trying to go 'YOU GUYS ARE APART OF WHY THE VIRUS IS SPREADING" shit, figured help you cut it off before it started happening.
I used to drive a company truck a fld daycab about a 99 that thing would take off on 9th gear spinning I bet that little guy would do great here wish I could find that truck d60 power
Such a shame that the track is so short and the dirt surface doesn't help when is time to stop such heavy vehicles. I prefer 1/4 mile runs on asphalt or concrete but I'll take this too. 😎👌🏻 Every time I saw axles hopping I cringed at the thought of broken U-Joints. 😱😬 Do they start on 2nd or 3rd gear ? Being that is slippery loose dirt and all that jazz. There's something very cool and makes me smile when I see a big Class 8 truck getting a little sideways getting out of the hole. 😎👍🏻
This is the worst drag race I have ever seen such a short strip can't even get them up to top gear. I like the guy with the red flag such a easy job just sit and wave the flag.
I like the older stuff, the Mack, the Ford and the cab overs, it's good to see guys keeping those classic rigs on the road.

@Kash Kingston instablaster =)
Love to see the classics like the Astro and Diamond Reo getting down. Cool video!
Thanks!
Like to see em run about 1\2 mile so they could run all the gears and really get into the upper end of the power!
Me too.
Me three during quarantine
Yes
The short wheel base really helps get the power to the ground without a load!
Thanks for sharing the video🤩😘😘😘
I absolutely love that this is a thing

@2:55 why is he (the white truck) using the jake? He only made it to about 25mph...! 🤦
To show off ? ! 🤔😂

Only good thing was hearing the straight pipes cackle on the Jake brake and that was it
I dig it! Like to see them run over 500’ next time.
I wonder how many in the stands fell asleep and hit heads with the person in front of them?
42st 👍's up guys thanks for taking the time for the great show
Wait I thought the buck was closed because of the virus?
Anyone else notice the finish line flagger just taking a siesta?
How long 200ft
yes
Should have given them more track
You'd be hard pressed to beat ole Dave Buttons any day of the week
A pier of kenworths going at it in that last one
If you look it up some of these guys pulling with evenly weighted trailers what I think is the 1/4 mile
Rodeo du camion.
