The plaintiffs and the defense in the DEPP V HEARD trial were given 62hours each for their case and then 2 hours for closing arguments. That was a 6 wk trial. The judge was brilliant and control over her court room (she was former military) with professionalism and appropriate humor.

My thoughts on why the defense has gotten quiet. 1. If they aren't taking a long time to question witnesses and they are objecting all the time, they kind of lose the argument of how much time this case is taking. 2. They already have piles and piles of appeal material if needed.

People need to realize that Everyone in that Courtroom works under Fani Willis. She dictates and demands her Staff to obey her every order and do exactly what she says. Fani Willis has no perimeters or guidelines when it comes to her conduct good or bad. One person should not be in charge of other people’s lives. How many lives have been destroyed by this woman? How many have been threatened and railroaded?

I'm wondering if the defense are letting the state waste time with some of the witnesses like woody and sledge because it plays in their favour with the jury, the jury gets fed up with the state wasting their time and not getting any answers and then multiple defense attorneys cross in minimal time and get clear answers without the screaming, confusing questions

    • @DearWokeChristian

Look at everyone on the outside who (is meant to have) has more info than the jury and no one can agree on who unalived nut then what must the jury think?
The state is treating their own witnesses worse than the defense and I think when the defense eventually put on their case their witnesses will be very well prepared compared to state witnesses

It’s been almost a year and Prosecutors have 98 not witnesses…, How in the hell will these citizens live off of $25 a day? This will take at least another year! I feel so bad for the Jury and should not be legal! 1 day already lost her job the other was evicted they’ll be homeless by the end of this trial! Why isn’t anyone worried or talking about this Jury? 😥

BENNETT, STATE CLAIMED SHE TOLD THE JUDGE GO F HIS SELF, WHICH SHE DIDN'T, THEN IT WAS SAID SHE REFUSED TO COME TO COURT (SOMETHING LIKE THAT) BUT GLANVILLE SIGNED OFF ON THE ARREST WARRANT, TO FORCE HER TO TESTIFY. WANTED THE COURTS TO BELIEVE SHE WAS AFRAID TO TESTIFY, WHICH SHE WASN'T. SHE ALSO LOVE PLAYED ON HER FEELINGS ABOUT HER DECEASED MOTHER, AND BROUGHT HER NAME UP. I have taken a step back to review the opening statements and earlier witness statements. I agree the state!s objections are excessive and some of the witnesses were not needed. But when the defense gave their opening statements, I was like really Martavious’ lawyer, is that really your defense? And Shannon Stillwell’s lawyer, so he has been convicted of so many offenses and this time he is 100% innocent…ymmm🤔🤷🏽‍♀️ OK! I’m just saying; are we forgetting that people have lost their lives and been assaulted because of these possible gangs!

(by phone, text, and offices, as well) Takes up the preoecutors homework time. They try and fulproof their plan.

You can use your PTO etc. I am sure but who has 2 years of PTO The company I work for does pay you for jury duty it’s a perk but I am not sure if I was on a 2 year trial if that would be the case plus I process payroll and pay the bills for the company so it would be difficult they would have to hire someone to do my job while I was gone.

That’s not true about the comment where the person said by law employers have to pay jurors salary while they are on jury duty, some companies will give their employees a certain amount of days paid for jury duty but it’s not many and it’s different for every company. The only thing the law says is a company can’t fire a person because they are on jury duty BUT they absolutely can get rid of them for some other reason while they are on jury duty, unless they just really really wanna keep you employed and you are irreplaceable a trial of this length would absolutely be something a company would find a way to let you go over.

I know people are not happy with Whitaker, and rightly so, but Glanville had to be removed. The improper meeting was bad enough but this guy was a sitting judge on a RICO trial, who can issue a contempt citation on a whim, that didn't know the difference between Civil and Criminal Contempt, nor the rights of the targeted person or the guidelines of using it. He tried to administer Civil remedies to a Criminal contempt citation on Steel and nobody would have questioned him if Ashley Merchant didn't show him he was wrong. How many other improper ex-parte meetings have been held that the Court believes it did nothing wrong by threatening a sworn witness?

Guilty or not the way Fulton County Prosecutors have handled this case is atrocious. I think people like myself are disgusted in how their basic rights are being violated. I can name hundreds but I do believe anytime you have over 6 people who have been in jail for over 2 years with no basic representation this is a violation of a persons 1st amendment rights. I also believe trying this case as a RICO was only because the threshold to prove guilty is easier than to try them separately. This case is a huge mess.

If you have more than 3 people acting as one doing anything can be considered gang activity which is exactly what they're being charged with. They can beat the charges if you look up the meaning of a gang and its activity

No "judge" who believes they are right gets up and walks away. Bottom line. You don't have to know anything about law to see what's going on, here.

No I think the defense understands there's nothing to be gained from calling the judge out on this she herself kn9ws and more importantly issues we all see and are calling her out on. This judge came I. Hostile towards the defense and so they have to be smart when picking their battles! Why are argue a point you've already won.

Judge G. Never let the defendants attorneys make a full record, matter of fact, sometimes ms. Love would jump in to, I cannot count the times over the previous 6-7 months that the record never got to be made completely, for the defendants. This was one example of it, he walked out to keep him from making a complete record for appellate purposes. Now, we see them have the ability to, better, however, Judge W. Does interrupt and tries to explain what the State meant, even though the word salad from the State didnt even say that. It is a terrible system that needs an overhaul and a major audit .

I don't think she knows what Brady is and what supposed to happen once its found to exist. Just ask the judge in Alec Baldwin case what Brady is and what supposed to happen next. Or just give Alec a call he's at home, he can tell you, his case was dismissed.

The judge came In Hot and tried to sound hard, but she didn't expect love to be this bad, and her allowing love to ramble on and on shows her lack of integrity every time she snaps at the defense to "just get on with it".... tye judge and love are making the appel case so very easy

She knows Love as stubborn and a bully at work they served as prosecutors together with Fani in that DAs office under Howard. She is intimidated by Love’s stubbornness Paige does not know how to control her.

To boost her political career, I believe the real big fish Fani wanted was Trump. However she couldn't seem racist. So she had to get a big black fish too. Hence we have a not ready to prosecute ysl rico .

How many of you believe Young T isn't afraid.. How many of you believe he'd be a much better person after facing this situation. We can't forget he' was a young man educated in Atlanta who lived in the state he was to becoming a millionaire. God only knows just how much money money he's made while in jail..He might have 2 or 3 hundred million dollars by now. Just imagine how many people this young man could help the right way if he gets out of this situation with the help of the black attorneys in Atlanta.
