I also have complete seasons of "Red Dwarf" on DVD if I need to laugh, guaranteed. Loves me some Cat and Dave! That means I haven't watched political ads in over 5 years, or watched the evening news. Did anything unusual occur in the last 5 years? Did I miss anything? 😏😜😉

"What's My Line" which ran from 1950 to 1967 (there was a later reprise in color, but didn't have the same magic). I'm hooked, watch an episode almost every day. The one where Groucho Marx wrecks the show is my favorite, for now. One of the funniest things I've ever seen, but it was just a normal day for Groucho. I can see how he inspired Robin Williams' ad-lib lunacy!

This edition still targets politicians and celebrities, and will occasionally hit their targets dead centre, but a lot of their jokes are rather feeble, the puppets aren't nearly as good as the earlier ones, and the actors doing the voices aren't in the same league as the ones who went before.
These skits are great. As an American basically clueless about a lot of British celebrities, I constantly need to go to search for who these people are and what the joke is that I'm not it on. It's really fun!
