I'm American, and watched Spitting Image for the first time. This is the best satirical comedy I have ever seen! 😂😂😂

It used to be the most popular British comedy show in the 1980s and came off air in the UK in the mid 1990s because it was deemed that politics became to bland and boring. Obviously the world has become crazy enough for the show to return more than two decades later. I am surprised Americans have never heard of the show, because they did the famous video for the Phil Collins' Genesis song Land of Confusion in the mid-1980s

The show was way ahead of it's time because it was like muppets with real people, with great satire and very funny. Many famous British comedians worked on the show when they were very young. Only Spitting Image in the 1980s could make a parody song about awful Mediterranean vacation pop music that becomes popular and that parody song become an actual number 1 hit. The irony lol

I loved it too. I'm an American who had heard of Spitting Image, but hadn't seen a full episode until this one. I just skipped the segments that were too British oriented for me to recognize. I wish they would come over here and make a version just for us.
I never thought I’d watch the whole segment, it’s really good , hilarious and witty. My favorite were the Jared Cushnor and Margret Thutcher segments. Restored back my faith in British satire. Regards from Egypt 🇪🇬 ❤️❤️
