A relatively newer school from S.C. who have great talent considering they don't recruit players from all over the country. Their ranked 14th in South Carolina not the nation.
It's a private school that plays 2a in south Carolina and has actually the best basketball program in south Carolina rn it's not really a football school

IMG plays as an Independent and is not assigned to a specific district. They also do not play in any state championship games because the governing body FHSAA will not allow them to. Under the FHSAA rules a high school cannot openly recruit players. Since IMG is a high school sports academy, in the business of training professional athletes and thus regularly recruits players, they cannot abide by the FHSAA rules. Apparently the California High School Athletic Association will not allow California HS team to play any team that does not abide by their state's High School Athletic Association rules.

Why does img even play non nationally ranked No name teams??? Like what’s the point. If they were to only play private schools that recruit like they do it would be more fair
most likely because img doesn’t put in the effort to schedule those games and the public schools pick up those games as competitive action but they mostly play schools that do recruiting
Gray actually do recruit it’s just a 2A school in South Carolina and the highest we go is 5A so that tells you how outmatched this game really is but really Gray just been picking games because teams around our state South Carolina been forfeiting against them because apparently around our state their kinda legit so this game just been picked into each teams schedule really

They do.... they play other prep schools. Thats why they dont play teams st john bosco or mater dei or duncanville. Any teams that qualify for a state championship (which is 99.9% of teams who are a part of the hs governing body and img isnt) dont play img. Bosco and mater dei recruit but they are part of the nfhs

As a representative of Strom Thurmond, I would like to say you guys cheated so hard last game you guys were holding, pulling, not to mention you guys used astro truffe and that is the only high school field in South Carolina with astro truffe. My sister's boyfriend is on The Strom Thurmond football team, and he had blood all down his neck from someone on their team scratching him. One of your guys tackled our qb and didn't get off of him and our qb reported he was talking smack to him. Your school shouldn't even be allowed to have a football team if all your guy going to do is be "injured" multiple times one of your players was "hurt" and just walked off the field. Second off there was no chairs for our players to sit at during half time. Last but not least you guys were calling time out when our kicker was about to hit it which is plain dirty. I hope each and every one of your players are fined with 5,000 for cheating, assault to multiple players, and every single of those coaches have their license taken away if they aren't willing to play fairly.
Edit: This has nothing to do about my rant about how gray cheated but one of yalls player looked like Jake Paul so that should be illegal to begin with.
