The west had a rough year but they ended pretty strong. 7 of Central's opponents made it to the playoffs so idk what you're smokin. Central plays in the SEC of highschool football year in and year out, IMG plays whoever wants to give them the time of day.

Why img banned in Cali?
Cali created a rule by which if you are ineligible to play for a state title in your state, you cannot schedule a game against a CA school. It's narrowly targeted. Cali doesn't like that IMG recruits nationally.

IMG doesn't need a national schedule, all they need is a full schedule of south florida and the truth will reveal itself. Schedule against Chaminade, Northwestern, Columbus, Booker T, America Heritage, St. Thomas Aquinas, Cardinal Gibbons, Central, Norland. Don't be shy. I'm not saying they will lose to all, but they will go like 4-3 against the teams I just listed. Just imagine if all those talent from those school go to one school like Mater and St. John.🤣🤣🤣

Instead they cherry pick their schedule, they can't build natural rivalries, nor can they go into the playoffs and have rematches. @@RocketGator05 This is a good comment. IMG needs to get 3-4 Florida teams early in the year before conference schedules start then get out of state teams like Gorman or East St. Louis that dominate their in state competition later in the season. Then finish off with SFA.

WAAAY past time to have separate "mythical" national champions. One for private school and IMG type "football factories" and one for public high schools.
Can't really disagree with that. Shoot - my high school -which is private(and all the other private teams in the MIAA conference -which are all private) stopped playing St Francis years ago because it was so unfair. It was literally a college team (St Francis has Division I recruits up and down their roster) playing against high school teams. It wasn't even about losing. It was about legitimate concern for the safety of the players. When the league opponents stopped playing them a couple of years ago the St Francis coach had the audacity to say it was racism. Like wat?? My high school football team was 85% black. No -it was about St. Francis being a high school that has only about 200 some students but yet fields one of the top 3 high school football teams in country every year. It's just a complete football factory recruiting kids from all over the east coast. These kids are all possible future division I or division II recruits who come to St Francis to get national exposure and then leave town. Everything is 100% paid for. I don't begrudge them and I'm happy for the kids but the coaches sound ridiculous when trying to make it seem like they aren't just a stop for the kids to move onto college and the pros for some of them.
