Finally a youtuber that doesnt always show the same manga!
From what I heard, manga yellow accrues when your manga has been in the sun for a long time, or expose to really hot temperatures. The pages tend to be cheaper and more thin which leads to more yellow also. I hope this answered some of your questions, btw I love this video! :D

Thanks for telling me! I was super curious but this makes sense. I've definitely seen paper turn colors when it's been under lights or sunlight for too long.
this is very true but oxygen also creates yellowigng so thats why old paper will pretty much always be yellow

I'm all about getting people to buy books! Lol, but definitely see if you can find the first volume of whatever you're interested in online first before investing in a series. I do that with the manga I'm not 100% sure about.

Wolf children is one of my favorite movies!!! Yes read it, I know u will love it. Well I don’t know if the manga is exactly that same as the movie, i hope so, the movie that is the main source is 😚🥳
The manga is beautiful as well. I thought got a bit more emotions from the movie. It’s still a great book highly recommend, one of my tops.
This is such a good haul!! Fruits Basket and Natsume's Book of Friends are some of my absolute favourites, it's just a shame that some volumes of Fruits Basket can be so hard to find.
I love wotakoi SOOOO MUCH!!! It’s honestly an unexpected favorite for me, all the characters were so well done to me and the characters were really relatable and funny but had their cute touching moments as well

Natsume and the book of friends is amazing, I haven't read all the manga but I strongly recommend the anime : ). It has 6 seasons up until now and is beautiful.

I like dark, horror, fantasy anime/manga but I do have my favorite romances so it's really nice to see this video so I can get some recommendations other than the stuff I usually look at. I didn't recognize like anything out of the first 2 boxes, so that was really cool for me to see :-)

Manga turns yellow gradually through time, however direct sun light and a humid environment speed's up the process its just oxidisation of the paper

Our taste is so similar! I'm so happy I found your channel. I'm reading Sue and Tai-chan too. It's the first series that I'm reading in Japanese! Natsume's Book of Friends is one of my all-time favorite series. It's very wholesome and touching.
And Fruits Basket is worth all the hype. It's such an amazing story. Again, an all-time favorite haha.

One thing with RS is bigger volumes and Hard covers are the ones that tend to take damage cause they are stiffer since they have no protection on top or bottom. The Fruits Basket Collectors Edition omnibuses are pricey and very hard to find. I buy mine from Barnes and Noble. Rightstuf does have good sales. The manga and anime are both amazing! Hopefully you enjoy it.
I watched the wolf children movie when I was younger and I remember it being super sad. Also I recommend Monkey High! and My Love Story:)

Since you go for comedy and I don’t know if you have it, I recommend [The terrified teacher at ghoul school] it’s very good and always makes me laugh. There’s 9 volumes out now but each is $13 at retail price so I don’t recommend getting a lot at once unless you can find them for cheaper lol.

Hope that you enjoy Natsume's Book of Friends! I think I stopped at volume 10 or 11 because it was just rather lengthy for me. The anime is quite cute if you've got Crunchyroll, and it just makes me happy to watch. ^_^ Prepare the tissues for both Wolf Children and I Want to Eat Your Pancreas.
I get weary about about really lengthy manga too so I'm definitely going to only take it a couple volumes at time.
And the only reason I haven't jumped right into reading I Want To Eat Your Pancreas and Wolf Children is because people keep telling me I'm going to cry! Lol, I'm not ready for tears just yet so I keep putting it off hahaha

I didn't realize how much I'd be tearing up when reading I Want to Eat Your Pancreas and the author's second title, I Had That Same Dream Again (though this one is less sad). But the good news is both of those are very hopeful in the end, so it's worth the pain when you're feeling up to it! Plus, they are chonky books, so I understand the need to prepare mentally.

Recently, in my experience, the wait is not bad! It was only my very first haul from them that took a month to get to me. But that was also around the time of the holiday sale. So, that definitely could have added to the wait.

Hi there, I don't really feel comfortable sharing how much I spend because each haul varies in cost. Some times I spend a lot, some times my hauls are small. I also don't want anyone thinking that they need to spend as much as manga youtubers just to grow their collections.
I would like to suggest creating a budget that works for you, spending what you have budgeted, and then just growing your collection that way. Happy manga shopping! :)
