Love the orange wallpaper, it looks beautiful! As I was watching this and seeing the orange printed sheets and oranges, I kept thinking about a tropical sunset. That might look real tropical to put a sunset in there somewhere. That camper is looking so wonderful, bright and cozy at the same time!

What a brilliant idea using wrapping paper
You can freeze a gallon jug of water and set it in a cake pan with the fan pointed at it and it will turn it into a kind of AC and blow cold air. With such a small space it should help quite a bit.
I think I may need to do this! It’s so miserable in there☀️😅
@@OurLittleNest If it's super hot it may not cool things down overly well but you could at least sit in front of it!
Amber Thistle That was our air conditioning on really hot nights in the summer. This was during the 50's when few people had air conditioning.

We are renovating an old camper we bought a few months ago and I did almost the same thing to our cabinets above our bench area . It also had some recessed cutout areas I used a decorative tin on those in front of some peony shelf paper used as wall covering. Mine is light grey with accents of mustard yellow. So the base of the shelf paper I used was mustard with little peony clusters. So adorable. I love what you did with your bunk. And I totally feel for you with the heat. We had the same issue but eventually installed ac. Good luck with your remodel. I look forward to watching more

I didn't know about Mod Podge spray for making paper waterproof. Now I'll have to keep an eye out for that. I wonder where I can buy it. It could be handy for a lot of things.

Such a cute renovation and brilliant idea with the paper. Hobby Lobby has brass bee knobs, may be the same one. They are on sale for $2.49 currently. I saw them online and was trying to figure where I could use them, to no avail. Then I saw this vlog.

It looks great! Hopefully the pattern won’t fade in the sun. I’d be a bit concerned about that. They have UV Resistant spray for paintings that you could spray on it. I washed a lamp shade that had a paper covering with bears on it. I put it on our porch to dry. It blew into the yard. It was there for a few hours before I found it, but the whole pattern disappeared. Only a faint outline can be seen on the inside of the shade.

Did you put any sort of protective coating on top of the wallpaper? I'm wondering how durable it will be and whether it would stand the test of time. It is so beautiful, I may consider doing something of the sort as well!

I'm surprised you didn't have the door opening up towards the ceiling? Does it create more space for your bed when it opens down?
If you’re talking about the whole unit itself, that has to open downward because that is half of the bed!

I had 2 sets of doors one from the bunk we took out so I used those doors with the wainscoting!
