The highlight of Mover's videos is when he makes mistakes. As badass as he is, it's always nice to see him call out east when they're going west. Same stuff I do all the time.

And he repeated "standing by" when told so by ATC which you're not supposed to read back. I always feel dumb doing that. There's always room for improvement no matter what you are.

@@daveslow84 Might well be. I'd wonder if the military in the U.S. wouldn't heed ATC procedures defined by the ICAO though.
Then agian, I've certificates for ATC, ship-wireless com (LRC/SRC) and a TETRA BOS certificate. They're totally disjunctive in procedures. So why not add another set of rules for military aviation, right?

I live near the mosquito control airport out in the swamps of SW FL. They fly a fleet of OH-6s. Sprayers. Come and go 15 hours a day. Love to try one. They have a fleet of DC-3a too. All repowered with turboprop engine. I first moved down here they had the original radials and flew at 100 AGL. Thrilling to see them buzz the house. Now with the TP engines and improved spray gear it’s 300 AGL. Still hear them coming but not the same. I have a buddy who flies them. They are stripped down specialty machines. 2 seats , tanks and spray gear. No room for riders. Don’t do anything weird lol. Just an avgas tanker.

THANKYOU TO HARRISON COUNTY SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT/WING for working Mover into all these flights and for both your stories in how you got to be a Law enforcement pilot! A lot of inspiration , information and just awesome viewing content you’ve allowed us to come along on on Movers channel. With 500,000 subscribers Movers getting a great meaaage our out there aboht Harrison County Sheriffs Department and especially it’s two pilots we’ve gone along with. So awesome you’ve allowed Moved to come along and bring us to , also amazing you’re letting him fly as well! Obviously he’s not a typical newb,..being a combat F18 and F16 fighter pilot and trainer has some amazing exeperince and capacity for flight. These videos going along with your department are some of my favorite! Also very informative regarding the governent program that is allocating these military helicopters to law enforcement agencies at no cost to tax payers. I’d never knows that but after you told Mover I’d mentioned it to a good friend of mine who pilots a Utah Highway Patrol Helicopter (an ex military Kiowa . (He flew the MH6 and Blackhawk but spent most of his military career in the A10 Thunderbolt II before making the difficult transfer to military helos from jets. He said he did it learning that there’s a need of helicopter pilots In The Us and an overload of pilots for the amount of airline jobs so he made the transition to helicopters for 3 tours in Afghanistan and Iraq , came home and within 3 weeks had a job with the Utah Highway Patrol for their “new” used Kiowa. He said the current administration is really trying to push to get US agencies in law enforcement to take advantage of the program to get more agency helicopters around the US that can be of help in natural disasters, search and rescue etc and he said with the military retiring the Kiowas and the Blackhawks and current Hueys sighing the next few years for the upcoming fly by wire replacements , said there’s a huge surplus of retired helicopters in storage lots around the Us , Middle East and Germany that our administration would prefer to see in our law enforce the rather than rotting ina graveyard or selling off to allies. He also said they made the peace as much easier than it used to be. I’d never known a lot of these law enforcement helicopters are from this program and NOT tax payer paid for until you told Mover. There’s a very large misconception in the Us that we as tax payers flip the bill for these helicopters so I’m glad you mentioned that, all Movers subscribers at least now know that. 🙂👍 Thankyou for your service , all 3 of you and be safe!

Thanks again you three for sharing some more great airtime, and giving me a mental replay of bad boys.
Something I learned in Music which seems to apply everywhere is that recovery is more important than perfection. I think that's why Stephanie agreed on losing sound / feel on landing then needing reset and Brandon's remark to your takeoff was "Meh". Yet ....... I still demand perfection, so I sympathise with constantly debriefing yourself.

I remember when DRMO was trying to place the old loaches with law enforcement and other government agencies. Getting them airworthy was a significant commitment and some of the agencies could never make it work. Especially if they were attempting to set up an aviation program from scratch.
These helicopters got regular maintenance but they were flown very hard in Vietnam and a lot of them received serious battle damage. Oklahoma City operates T-Tail MD500s. I asked one of their pilots why the OCPD didn’t take advantage of the program. And he said they looked at them and ones that weren’t shot down were shot up. I was even more surprised to learn they trained their own pilots from the rank and file of experienced police officers it’s a highly coveted assignment for which interested officers aggressively compete.

Me as a heilo pilot... Prepare for impact. I have hard time in choppers had to drop from a few in Afghanistan but it stems from when I was a kid we flew from azores to ramstien afb with few stops and I was so sick when I got there. Since then I always sort of freak out although I never got sick in Afghanistan... I wanted to fly a-10 but just before I was set to switch from nco to officer I got sick narcolepsy and had to get out the air force

Nice work Mover! You should have gone ahead and stuck the landing on the trailer. We all know you can do it.

MAN I LOVE THE OH6!!! There’s a youtuber Pilot-X , thst does some stuff with Black Rifle Coffees youtube channel (a veteran owned and operated coffee company , amazing channel too) he somehow acquired an ex US Military MH6 Littlebird as his personal helicopter. (He was a combat pilot prior) he uses the helicopter for a bunch of the skits black rifle does for the channel, Mover you ought to talk to him and find out how he obtained it and get yourself one for your channe! 🙂 of ever our Utah way, he’s a great guy and loves helpin our servicemen and vets , guarantee he’s take ya out in the Littlebird. It looks like it may have been a SOAR Littlebird. It has the attached benches for Special Forces transport with a bunch of other equipment. I love thst he still takes his M4 when he flies and mounts it on the pilot/co pilot weapons racks. Looks bad ass . It’s 100% black in color too that’s he’s said was it’s service color . Such a cool helicopter. I keep hoping you’ll get the chance to fly the OH6.
