EARL IS THE G.O.A.T., Norm Duke, Pete Weber, Walter Ray Williams jr., Mark Roth, Marshall Holman, Dick Weber[RIP]. Parker Bohn 3rd, Brian Voss, Don Carter[RIP], Mike Aulby, Chris Barnes, Lisa Wagner, Johnny Petraglia, // Future Goats are Jason Belmonte, Kyle Troup, Jesper Svenson, [ Meant to mention Patrick Allen] and so many Greats [ Nelson Burton Jr.] . I left a bunch of greats out. Many factors, such as injuries denying players a chance to keep having tremendous seasons, and other factors make picking players difficult!!!!!
No, he's proof you don't need high revs to throw the big hook. He hooks the lane if he thinks that's the best line. His 1994 season was mostly him hooking the lane. Watch him vs. Robert Smith in the 1994 AC Delco classic. Smith, the "king of revs," gets badly out-hooked by Duke.
One of the best balls thrown was around 3:45, guy walks in front of camera. Thanks bud, geez. Ball continues right through the pins, good to see that. Nice video!
So Norm is one of the last of the Mohicans. What I mean by that is one of the last Pro bowlers to still use a 6 step approach. I use a 6 step approach when I need a little more ball speed. You hardly see the 6 step approach anymore. 99% of the bowlers in the PBA are all doing a 5 step.
This is so simple. Hand behind the ball and quarter rotation at release. A lot of the current styles are not sustainable as we age. How many 2 handers do you see over 40?
Well it's not really fair to say "how many do you see over 40" since the guy who made it popular just turned 39. He has won 5 events already this year and a major though.
He comes up the side of the ball more. I’ve seen hundreds of videos showing how the big benders release and “pros” release the ball? There’s really not much difference. Kind of splitting hairs?
That just goes to show you that you don't necessarily MUST do it one way or the other. Preferably, you do what the lanes are asking you for. That's called versatility. That's why Norm is of the greatest ever. He is super versatile and repetitive!💪🏼
Who is your favorite "legend" bowler of all times?
I like walter. But I respect duke.
Earl the peal
Mark Roth is always the greatest

Pete Weber but I like all of there different styles. Thanks 😊
Arguably the smoothest bowler that ever lived. He didn’t need the “big hook” to become a hall of fame bowler. My favorite bowler of all time!

Duke can play any angle, and can turn it sharp or go straight in!!!!
I met Norm at a pro-am tournament. A legend and a class act also.
I’m 12. I bowled a 180 yesterday. I’m very happy.
Absolutely incredible arm swing and release. Wow!
One of the all time greats. Somehow he still gets good results with his ball drop and bounce.
Amazing, his ball does bounce on contact with lane, but it sure hasn't hurt his game one bit!!!

Thanks! And sorry about the "guy" nothing I can do about it 😂
The legend! 💪🏼
First and foremost, love the content! Second, would love to see Prather in slo mo!
We just released Kris Prather's video! Go check it out. Let us know if you liked it :)
Love this man❤️
This man can strike consistently from any side of the floor.
DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKE!
One of the best to ever do it. His game and pete webers game are who I modeled my game after
Wow you are at 700 subscribers! Super growth, excited to see more. Congratulations dude
Thank you for the support, always! Keep sharing our videos. Sometime soon we will be able to do giveaways and other cool surprises on the way
Great bowler, legendary human.
These videos always look super professional. Where do you get the footage?
Hi, I recorded all the videos myself at the event. Thanks for the compliment! I really wish I could have gotten more videos to share.
DUKE
Earl Anthony[RIP] The G.O.A.T.🙏
Once again proving that you don't need 2 hands or an insane rev rate to throw strikes. And you will avoid some of the ridiculous splits.
That is so true about the splits!! 😂😂
I can’t even throw with 2 hands lol
Thanks for these videos. Make one for Kris Prather please?
Sure! I only had a few shots, but worth making the video for you :)
@@AthleticBowling thanks alot! You're the best.
We just uploaded the Kris Prather Release!
Smoothest no try the great Earl Anthony.
His swing seems so late but it definitely works!
Actually, his swing is a little early at the beginning, but his footwork puts him "on time" when the swing comes back down.
@@AthleticBowling i definitely need to work on my swing timing haha
Norm Duke is the god of mechanics
Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuke

6 steps. 1 handed. Doesn't put a massive hook on every single shot just because he can. When Norm retires, traditional bowling retires with him.

Easier to not break form as a nooblet with two hands, suffering from an off hand injury so im using one handed now
Depends on the form. I can see Belmo still being the same until his late 40's Jesper's tho idk

music name plz?
I know it's a little late, but its

@@AthleticBowling exactly! The equipment is made to hook know a days. You really don’t need to tear the back of the ball up.
Norm tucks his pinky i never knew!
He did at times to gain a little more backend punch.
