As I wait for my 38.1 to be completed, I've watched every video I can find on TH-cam- so thanks for making these. One thing I notice on almost all videos of European sailboats: the strange (to me) habit of never stowing fenders and docking lines below, or in the anchor well, or in the lazerette....in other words, out of sight! I know in the grand scheme of things this seems minor and nitpicking, but to my eye, leaving fenders and dock lines out on deck is an eyesore, and aesthetically incongruent. There. I said it. "We now return you to our regular programming."
Thanks for the comment. I don’t know where you’re from, but just consider it’s just pure laziness if WE in Europe we keep the fenders on the deck ! And by the way it's not a general habit throughout Europe, but yes, it tends to be true in the Mediterranean... No excuse indeed because the 38.1 has 2 large lockers at the stern. Congratulations for the choice, it’s a great boat !
