It is refreshing to see someone else that cares about what trash others leave behind. I always take out more trash than I bring in. It's so disgusting how much people just toss in the beautiful wilderness. So Thank you for caring!
You might have the very nicest WJ out there! Nicely done. More importantly, it looks like you guys had a great time which is what it's really all about.
Thanks man. We are really enjoying it. I have more I want to do to it to make a even better camping like storage drawers, roof rack and awning. Soon as I can find time.
i guess im randomly asking but does anyone know a method to log back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost my account password. I would love any tips you can offer me.
@Zakai Jalen thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
So cool that you and your kids picked up trash. I don't understand how people can go to the parks to enjoy the beauty and then walk away from their mess. Thanks for posting your awesome build. I just started on my WJ. Not a clue what I'm doing, I just know what I would like to do. Fricken rusty bolts really through a wrench into the progress. Your jeep looks so cool on those trails.
Where are you guys meeting Sunday? Do you have a facebook group or something where everyone is at? I live in Young Harris and would love to do something like this. I recently joined the blairsville jeepers page to meet some folks. Just got another jeep after almost 10 years of no 4x4.
Tim Fulford by the way they may have some sorta of Facebook and page of some sort but I don’t know I get all my info from TH-cam or texting some of the guys that do the rides and cleanups
I have been working on the GTT in sections over a weekend, I started on the western side going east. I will be going from Helen Ga, to SC to finish out this month. Great video guys.
Great video. My kids and I camped along some of the trail a couple weeks ago. We live very close to it. Young Harris. Thanks for helping pick up. Hard to believe people leave trash like that. Love your jeep. Been watching your videos lately.
22:29 My Jeep gets the best mileage on 89 but it's a '94 XJ with the 4.0 I've ran tanks of all three, but in Oregon we only have 87, 89 and 91 but I'll definitely never run 87.
awesome video. i did the western portion(west to east) until i had to cut off around blue ridge, GA. i can't wait to continue the middle portion from west to east soon!. i have 2 kids and cant wait to take them on this when they get a little older. do you have a particular section of the traverse that is your favorite?
I wish. We are getting closer. We have a new supplier for cutting material and finalizing a new version with the stock lights. Covid really delayed things.
That is a beautiful WJ!! I love mine but the only issues I have had were with the calipers locking up! Had 2 front and 1 rear lock up on me... a common issue I have come to learn... Also how do you have your rack attached to the roof? Did you run a back plate inside the roof or build a structure?
They came with Teves or Akebono calipers. One is better that the other I guess. Cant remember which one. ON the roof rack I built custom mounts that use 4 bolts each that go into rivnuts. Pulling the headliner and using large washers or backing plate would be a little better but so far so good.
Awesome vids that I've seen from ya! Looks like yall had a great time! Great looking wj!! I just bought an '04 did you make that tire rack, gas can carrier in the back yourself or did you purchase?!
Nice wj, You already said before about your multimedia, can you tell me what model you bought, and if you share the internet for the use of GPS or what function you downloaded, GREETINGS
I, too, have an 04 Grand 4.0 (Special Edition). Just installed an RT Offroad 2" coil spacer lift to clear a set of 31" Goodyear Trailrunner ATs (265 / 70 x 16). I don't care for the AWD or the toothpick sized front driveshaft. Both will be converted to a double cardan driveshaft and a 242J t-case for that 2WD option.
It is a Moombassa I bought used. I am convinced they are all made in the same factory in China and private label branded. I like being well off the ground but once you are set up you are stuck at camp. So as with anything has its pluses and minuses.

Rusty parts make it hard to work on for sure. I am from Michigan so I understand. Fortunately I started with a rust free florida car on my build.
@@SpiralDesignWorks Now you tell me.
Oh and happy new year
"Creamer ALWAYS makes it worse."
Words of unprecedented wisdom.
I try and pass some wisdom down to the kids but most goes in ones ear and out the other.
Me and a group of jeepers are headed to Charlie’s creek Sunday to do a trail clean up at all the camp grounds

I should probably do a study on the next trip see which one gives best performance.

The closed section of Tray Mountain Rd is my favorite. Hopefully they will open it up again.
@@SpiralDesignWorks have you tried the ga adventure trail yet?
Fantastic to watch what beautiful country
It really is! Thank you for watching.
Got bumpers ready yet?

Ok good. Waiting patiently.
Can't wait im ready to grab a front bumper for sure

Yes I made everything. I have about 45 videos on my channel about the build.
I like those taillights, did you get them from amazon?
Yes amzn.to/32CmLQ8
@@SpiralDesignWorks thank you!!
What size lift and tires are u running? I’ve got a 4” rough country with 265’s. About the biggest I can get off my lift.
6" springs, custom long arms, 35" x 12.50-17 BFG's
@@SpiralDesignWorks do you have wheel spacers if you do what size?
Nice wj, You already said before about your multimedia, can you tell me what model you bought, and if you share the internet for the use of GPS or what function you downloaded, GREETINGS
We hot spot from our phones for internet. It has a GPS antenna. Here was the install. th-cam.com/video/_A70Y9PrXIc/w-d-xo.html
@@SpiralDesignWorks thx Bro
What gps program do you use to see the trails you drive on
We downloaded the Gaia Map from georgia-overland.com for this trip.
Cool video, just purchased and 04 wj.....what size lift you recommend to fit some 33 without having to cut or trim body or bumper?
I would only do long arm either 4-6" springs. The biggest you can run is less than a 31" tire without trimming. The fender wells are very small.
I, too, have an 04 Grand 4.0 (Special Edition). Just installed an RT Offroad 2" coil spacer lift to clear a set of 31" Goodyear Trailrunner ATs (265 / 70 x 16).

What outfitters did you raft with?
We rented a kayak and my friend David in the video was our guide. He is a local nut.
Hey, man, nice build! What tire size and lift are you running?
35x12.50-17 on 6" clayton progressive springs. Custom long arms. I have been trying to find a JK dana 44 front to swap in then I need to do a regear.
Great video!
But all of them are great.
👍✌️
Thanks! 😃
